About the location of the ATM's, that used to be correct, and probably still is. But if you look to your left after you exit straight out of customs and head for the exit you'll see several ATM machines.
For some time now, the Mexican banks have been charging a 5% or 6% commission on top of the fixed fee for using the ATM. This is a rip off, but I haven't gone to the trouble to see if changing USD cash is cheaper.

Posts: 559Arriving at the Airport. Things to Know
Arrival at The Airport. What You Need to Know.
After picking up your luggage, or if you have no luggage, you will still exit through that area, you go through Customs. Customs is a breeze. There is just a guy in front of a stand. I just gave the guy the form and walked past him.
There is a money exchange booth and it appears to be open 24 hours but the rates are lower than what you can get in town.
There are ATM machines at the airport. As you exit from customs, take a right. Go all the way to the end and there are a bunch of ATM machines from different banks along with an ATM machine attached to a HSBC bank branch.
When you exit customs, just before you enter the airport common area, there is a taxi booth. You tell the guy where you want to go and he will tell you the price. You pay the guy pesos and you get a ticket. If you don't have any pesos, get it beforehand from the currency exchange booth which is before the taxi booth.
Go outside the airport, take a right and there is a taxi line. When it is your turn, give the driver your ticket and the address. The ticket doesn't indicate the address so you need to repeat the address to the driver. It should be about $20-25 to get to downtown GDL.
If you have data, you can arrange an UBER from the airport. They pick up toward the end of the airport, to the right of the taxi stand. The price depends on the day and time and could be less than the taxi rate but it could be the same. I would not recommend this to newbies, just take the taxi.
Take the taxi and you will be at your hotel in about 30 minutes.

I like the idea and have implemented it many times in the past. In Medellin I would take lots of girls out to dinner, drinking and dancing and then back to my apartment for a few hours of sex. When it was all done I usually just paid around $80-$100 for the evening anywhere between 5 hours to all night. These were girls that I had met at the Hotel M and after I left and check into my apartment I would just ask them out. Totally GFE experience at it's best.

Well, I think I got an answer about Rape -- 2100 per hour, 15 women in the line-up, all good looking and women for all tastes. But I'm not sure. The guy might have been trying to promote Jet Set. The last time I went to Jet Set, which was before the last time I went to Rape, it was a dump, only a couple to choose from and they were on the ugly side.

It's been a while and my memory sucks, but it was around $100 for an hour. I'd be surprised if you can get out of there for much less than 2000 pesos. I put a post in on one of the local boards to verify.

Looks like a restaurant with strip show and lap dance, food prices between $25 to 50 per person, not bad but guys likely spend a lot more on liquors and girls.

Shows some good-looking girls. Not sure if they really work there. I would rather go to nice, quiet places to eat and relax then go to noisy strip clubs to drink and party with the girls. Combing both food and girls at the same spot would be messy and can give me indigestion hehe.
We need to check out the best strip clubs and casas in Guadalajara, also street actions. Would be a fun adventure.

Posts: 336My advice, don't bother, they may have some type of show but it is not a strip club (table bar in GDL).
Its a place to have a meal and drinks with a pretty girl, like the saloons of the old west. They are there to provide you company at your table during your visit. There is a certain type of clientele that utilize these clubs but for our purposes its a waste of time. My 2 centavos. I've visited this club and several others like it.
