I was in Tijuana and Puerto Vallarta before arriving to GDL, so it was a very great way to end my Mexican trip. Ok, here we go.

Lodging: I stayed near the Chapultepec area (Americana), which is a great location: walking distance to bars, street food, mid-level to fancy restaurants, pharmacies, and convenient stores like OXXO. It's also safe to walk at night.

Transportation: You can get anywhere in Uber as it is cheap. No need to take taxis. I took a taxi one time as a last resort and got charged an arm, leg, and an ear.

Cell Phone Service: With my AT&T Unlimited Data plan, I was able to get reception like a local with no roaming charges. I had to turn roaming ON to make sure to get in their Mexican networks. Definitely, a must have to be here. Or get a local SIM card if that is not a possibility.

Seeking Arrangement: I've used it before all over Colombia and recently in Tijuana. I usually have great success with it, so it was my main source of contacts in GDL...

I've tried Valeria from Alex (2100 for 2 hours with BBBJ), Keni, Rocio, and Marivel from Munequitas (1700 for 2 hours with BBBJ). All their performances were generally good except for Rocio as she became stuck up and ended session early when I told her I would complain to the agency. 2 girls did CIM and swallow without extra charge, which I didn't expect, but gladly obliged jajaja.

Strip Clubs: I wasn't interested in the scene as I knew it would be a money grab and after seeing Tacoma's description of them, I didn't miss much. But I did feel the itch to see if any hot girls were available and just get their numbers for later, but my wallet said no.

Andares Plaza is the best mall in GDL with nice restaurants, open air shopping, and even luxury stores. It's basically a high end mall. They even have a Bloomingdales-type department store called La Palacio de Hierro with authentic Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Chanel goods. I also hit up Lake Chapala on a day trip, which was about a 50 minute bus ride. Great seafood and a small malecon to walk on.

Food: I think GDL has some of the best food scenes in Mexico. Almost everything I've tried was tasty and worth repeating. Cerdos Salvajes has some of the best BBQ pork and beef ribs in town. La Vaca Argentina with multiple locations has great meat selections and their grilled octopus is a must have! Tomate is a local favorite with great Mexican style food. Karne Garibaldi offers traditional carne en su jugo and has the fastest costumer service I’ve ever experienced, then I found out they once held a record for something like that. I even hit up a Japanese Ramen shop and it was legit (that's coming from an Asian). Street food was good and cheap. Tequila shots were definitely cheap, even when ordering in restaurants and bars: they were 20-40 pesos each! I would order 8 shots and it'll be under $10 USD! I guess people here don't really take shots, they prefer to mix tequila with mineral water or squirt /7-up. Screw that, I take it straight hehe. Almost all places would close by 11:30 pm / Midnight. But I'll find couple hidden spots that would open till 1 am.
