Plans changed and I was only able to sneak away for one quick session this trip in Guadalajara. Set up a date with danna but she was requesting a private room. Where I stay its private with lots of room. She said that she gets parking tickets and did not want to see me in my casa. Bummed again. Forget about nightclubs, restaurant bars or anything else for the near term. All of GLD is in lockdown and will be untill the 10th. Not really sure about Jalisco. But there really is nothing to do in the night here.

Yes, that is a good base to explore estiticas (casas) and GDL in general. Great prices for hotels in that zone right now. Usually 100/ night or more. You can search wider area from Arcos Vallarta to Americana. Lots of safe zones to walk and stores, eateries, clubs a plenty to enjoy. Ave Chapultepec is the heart of the entertainment district there. Enjoy.

I normally do P4 P in SEA but as we know its currently shut down, so I'm looking at Mexico. I am thinking of hitting GDL for a few days in January. What would be a good location for a hotel if I am hitting mostly esteticas (Casas)? I see most of the casas are centered around the Obrera district, I looked on Agoda and there is a ton of hotels for around $20/ night, for example Casa Sabina is $17/ night. Is there any reason it wouldn't be a good place to stay? And would they normally allow girls (Hookers) to come to the room? Should I email the hotel and ask the policy for female visitors?
