Thanks for your guys help before I went to Guadalajara back in October 2021.

I live in a big city in America and some guys here have asked me about whether it is safe to travel in Guadalajara. They mention the show "Narcos" and worry about crime and violence in the city. Some have mentioned newspaper articles about dead bodies connected to the cartel in GDL.

I had the same concerns when I started reading about GDL. Like most big cities in Mexico, GDL has its share of crime like car jackings, thefts, and robberies. In my opinion, the bigger concerns about kidnappings and killings are not a big concern for tourists. Cartel violence is about turf battles and those killed are usually involved in the drug business, and it is not aimed at robbing and kidnapping tourists.

GDL like most big cities in Latin America has its share of poverty and large numbers of poor people. Tourists in all big cities in Latin America need to be aware of their circumstances and not to take careless risks. I think if you take the same precautions as you would in any big city in the USA, you will be fine.

As for my personal experiences in GDL, I have not been a victim of any crime and did not feel any fear when I walked the streets at night in well lit neighborhoods. It is definitely safe in the Chapultepec neighborhood where many tourists like to stay. The people in GDL were actually very nice to me, nicer than the people I usually encounter in my own city.

Have you reading my posts? I have already mentioned my favorite agencies and have provided reviews of some of the girls already. Still have more girls to review when I have time.

I am aware of Alex Agency and they are a good reliable agency but I am not a big fan of Alex and his business practices. My favorite agency is Dany's Girls and my up and coming agency that shows a lot of promise is Conejitas Girls (the Spanish name) or Bunny Girls in English. Both have a good selection of attractive girls who provide solid GFE performance for a reasonable price. Just as important is that both agencies are prompt in getting to me as to who is available and easy to deal with. I also like the way both of them run their agencies. That matters to me a bit.

You should be able to find Dany's Girls in GDL if you search those terms on the Internet. The agency has a Twitter account with contact info.

Conejitas Girls (Bunny Girls) doesn't have a website or Twitter account yet but they are working on it. I think they were in business for just a few weeks when I used them on the last day of my trip and I was impressed enough to see two of their girls on my final day. I was happy with both of them and look forward to using them more on my next trip. That is why I say up and coming agency with a lot of potential. I have some general comments about Tinder and Agencies in GDL that you may find informative.

I tried out Tinder in GDL for about 10 days on my last trip and it was a complete disaster. I swiped right and liked a large number of girls and I only got 12 matches in total. Most were just above average in looks. There was some small talk with 3-4 girls that amounted to nothing and that was it. I would admit that it was a short period of time. I did read that it would be better to say SB in your profile. Even if it did work, I can see that it takes a lot of work. I did not try Seeking.

In Asia, I never use agencies. I also don't like the fact that agencies take half of the fee from the girls. But after dealing with the flakiness of Twitter girls and their limited schedule, I can see the great value in agencies here in GDL.

Some Advantages to Agencies in GDL.

1. Agencies get back to you promptly. Their full time job is to respond to your calls and schedule girls. With a Twitter girl, you can message her and not get a response for a while. When she responds, she may say that she is only available at a certain time or she is busy today. Then she may reschedule or cancel at the last minute due to personal issues. An agency may also have a girl that has to cancel at the last minute but they can provide you with some alternatives quickly.

2. Agencies have a number of girls available to service you and there is usually one girl that meets your requirements and is available. If not, go to your Plan be or Plan see agency. Girls come and go but good agencies find new attractive girls who provide good service to replace them.

3. Agencies usually don't require deposits. Twitter girls or indys also are more likely to ask for a deposit. Requesting a deposit is not unreasonable because girls get flakes or no-shows and then they lose time and money taking Uber to the hotel but I don't like doing it.

4. Agencies will generally send girls to your hotel room. There is often a transport cost but it is reasonable. Some Twitter girls will only go to short time motels near them.

5. Agency girls tend to arrive within a reasonable time of the schedule time. With traffic and delays caused by other appointments, it is unfair to expect girls to show up exactly on time. Girls showing up within 30 minutes of the scheduled time is the norm for good agencies.

6. There are no guarantees in life and a girl at the agency who has a good reputation may have an off day or lack energy for that day. Just one of those things. A good agency will listen to your legitimate complaints about her performance and make up to you in some manner such as a discount on your next session or extra time with the next girl.

These refer to good agencies that are reliable such as my favorite agencies. There are also bad agencies that will switch girls and just send who is available, just act as a middle man for any skank off the street, don't care about the quality of their girls, or provide deceptive pictures that were taken long ago. There are also high end agencies that charge 2000-3000 pesos or above for the hour but will provide model quality girls with good performance. I don't know anything about them because I am not willing to spend that much.

Once you establish yourself with an agency by taking a girl, it can be as easy as this, in Spanish:

Me: Who's available today?

Agency: Abby, Jess, Maxine and Paula.

If you don't know what they look like:

Me: Can you send pictures of Maxine and Paula?

Agency: Ok.

Pictures sent.

Me: Jess at 4 pm at Hotel Love It for one hour?

This assumes that you are familiar with the prices already. If not, just ask. The girls will come to your room but often they need to check in with the reception desk. If you do not want this, meet them at the lobby and walk them to your room.

Me: How much for one hour with Jess?

Agency: 1400 plus 100 transport.

If you have particular sexual acts that you desire, it is best to ask the agency about them. For me, it is nicer not to have to ask the girl directly about some perverted sexual act but to ask a third party about what she would be willing to do and the extra cost if required. For threesomes, it is particularly important to ask for everything that you want the girls to do.

So, unlike Asia, I use agencies most of the time here in GDL and I think they are good bang for the buck and the easiest way to find attractive girls who will arrive on time or close to it for a reasonable price. I question why I even waste so much time with Twitter girls but the answer is always that diamond in the rough.

With the new 24 hour rule, it is probably easier to just get your covid test at the airport. I would advise at least one hour earlier than your normal time to the airport. The test facility is at the parking garage, second floor, I believe. There are signs at the garage entry near the OXXO convenience store. There used to be a paper form you fill out for the test. Now there is an online form that you must fill out before they allow you to enter the building. Then you go to the window and pay for the test. I don't remember the exact amount but it was reasonable, about 500 pesos or $25. They will ask you for your flight number and time so get that info ready. After you pay, you wait for your name to be called and then you will go to a cubicle. Soon an employee will stick a q-tip type device up your nose and then it is over. You go out and wait outside about 40 minutes. You go to a window, give them your paperwork and when it is ready, they will give you a paper copy of your results. Hopefully, it will be negative and you catch your flight!

The cashier and the person giving you the covid test both can speak English. The procedure is easy to understand.
