I went back to Calle 52 last night (Sunday) later in the night and YES. There are lots of real deals there. Three or four great girls. You DO have to be careful as some of these "girls" have really deep vioces. I had a blast there last night for less the $20US. I never felt threatened or afraid.

My new years resolution is to find the "local spots" not the tourist spots in GDL. I'm sure there is good puncha in this town!

The street is called Leñadores (Lumber Jacks if you will) it is between Vallarta and Lazaro Cardenas I believe. It IS one block long and I have seen it. Not sure of the street names there, but look up Leñadores and you will find it.

As for the 52, let me get this straight, go Gigantes until Calle 52 (you will have to ask people, as the streets are labeled by names, but everyone knows them by numbers) when you get to 52, take a right. The next street is 12 de Octubre. The girls are between Gigantes and 12 de Octubre ON 52, about at the halfway point of the block. The last 3 weeks there have been uglier girls (not TVs, but not the same girls from before). Not sure what has changed, but I will investigate. When you hit 12 de Octubre you can take a right and 3 houses down there are more girls. Normally not my type, but last time there were two hotties. I couldn't investigate but will this week. Coahuila. I know that I appreciate your reports BUTT. When you give information please be more accurate. I checked out the "best kept secret" location yesterday on "Lenadores" which is actually pretty close to my house. First of all, it is LEONIDAS, not Lenadores. IF it is located between Vallarta and Ave. De Mexico. The street was about 4 blocks long. It was very residential. It was near Plaza de Mexico. Finding a house with advertisements, etc. Posted on it was next to impossible. Why don't you register with ISG so we can communicate?

I spent 4 hours in this area yesterday. I wanted to see IF what was being published here had any validity. First of all, Calle 52 is not named "Calle 52" it has another name and that makes it difficult to find. Secondly, it is 3 blocks between Obragon and 12 de Octubre, so when it is stated that there is a "place in the middle of the block" it makes it hard to find at the very least. Anyways, I was there between 4 and 8. There were about 4 DOGS working and 1 pup. Most all wanted 150pesos. They were just too ugly to even waste my time! Although the pup was interesting. I only saw one TV who wanted 200pesos. Hmmm. There were about 4 clubs in the area. Most did not open until 9.

I have mongered in Monterrey. There may be "Monterrey Style" clubs in GDL but I have YET to find them. And IF you did find them, they would be few and FAR between. Not like in MTY where they are literally door to door in a ten block area. I'll keep exploring. Thanks for the info Coahuilla. I had a good time exploring yesterday. The easiest way to get to Calle 52 area is to take the east/west metro/train/subway. Just ask someone where to get off for "Calle 52. " It's only about 2 blocks from the station.

Two new strip clubs have opened within the last six months between the airport and the Hotel Tapatio. Bucanero is the first right that you can make when exiting the airport going toward Guad. It is only about 50 meters after you leave the exit ramp, so be careful not to miss it. Cadillac is on the same side of the Caratera as the Boom Boom, just a little farther south. Neither gets going until after 10, so go to the Boom Boom first. They have a shift change at 9, so get there about 8-8:30. The early girls are borocha by then and good times can be had. If they are all fat and ugly, go back the next night. Things do change. After 9, 98% of them are fat and ugly and not worth your time.

After thinking about it for a few days, I have upped my estimate on the number of strip clubs in the area. It is over 100. Don't depend on a guy that uses the yellow pages to get his information. And don't be afraid to leave and go on to the next joint if you don't like what you see. Like I said, things change from night to night.

Try around 80 to 100. The vast majority are in the centro, east of Independencia (I only see one of the maybe 20 or 30 in that area listed, namely Ramses) or on the highways leading out of town towards Saltillo, Mexico or Chapala. Supposedly the best strip club in town right now is Titanic Blue. Other good one's are Nuevo Galeon, another one in front of the estadio (name escapes me) and one on the salida towards Zapotlanejo near Puente Grande (sorry name escapes me). None of these are listed. There are 5 Junior's AT LEAST so saying there are only 10 strip clubs is plain stupid. Also, saying that only the high end clubs have nice girls, is also stupid. Men's and Golden's hire like 90% foreign girls, so if you are looking for Ukranians and Brazilians they are great, but if you want to see some hot Mexicanas you have to go to middle or lower end clubs. In fact, Candy's (upper middle end) hires about 50% or more extranjeras. For pure Mexicanas go even lower than that.

I would give more info but I'm really not a strip club kind of guy myself. Why pay the same amount of cash to watch one dance as to fuck one a parlor? Even though if there are now more than 10 strip clubs for what is worth? The best quality girls are found in the high end clubs such as the Mens Club and the Golden club, some time if you run with luck can found some in the Candys (not a high end one) and usually the rest (and many others low end clubs) have girls going to avarage to bad quality in both beauty and service offered (not all offer full service by the way) so for what is worth to have more than a dozen of clubs if they are full of bad or avarage quality girls who don't offer full service or offer bad service.

The only low end strip clubs I've actually visited are the three between the airport and Hotel Tapatio, which were a lot of fun, although the quality of the women left something to be desired. Mr. North, when looking for High Class, look for a horseshoe of green and yellow balloons around the entranceway, right on the sidewalk. That is my landmark. The sign is low key, but I can spot the balloons from the other side of the street, and then just turn around at the traffic circle, and park on a side street.
The first time finding it is always the most difficult. But IMHO it is worth the effort.
