Last night, visited La Tequila to sample and learn more about tequilas. Excellent restaurant / bar with several good English speakers. IMO Patron is the smoothest tequila and in Jalisco its much cheaper than the US.

La Victoria is situated in a neighborhood for a Pancho Villa movie set. Charming setting. The staff is very friendly and professional. They bring you a decent amount of snacks and beers are only 25 pesos. The chicas are not my style but its understandable why many are attracted to these chicas. If you don't speak Spanish, my suggestion is to stay away.

After one beer, caught a taxi to Capri Casino. The driver told me in broken English the dangers of the area along with the heavy police presence.

Capri Casino has 21 tables which is why I decided to visit. Tough place to win due to the multiple decks and continual shuffling. The establishment also requires original ID to use a credit card. They refused to allow me to use my credit card for a 104 pesos tab. I was about to play 2 big hands. Changed my mind. Plus they make you utilize uber. Low class management with good workers.

Just FYI if you continue to have issues with Uber I'd try InDriver App. Works like Uber but you put the price your willing to pay. A driver will respond to accept or offer what they think is fair. You will get not only private drivers but also regular taxis use it so you have a lot of options. Not sure why Uber is slow and more expensive in GDL now compared to last year but you do have other options.

Arrived to GDL without my luggage. Waited over 3 hours at the airport for my luggage to arrive. AA customer desk was horrible. Unfortunately needed to take matters into my own hand and got to the correct baggage claim. In addition, the ATM's were not working at the airport.
