In my opinion and many others in GDL it's the best club it's just expensive. Men's Club use to be as good or better but they got really hurt with COVID and haven't been the same. In fact on my last trip they were closed. Not sure if it's permanent or they are doing a remodel. Roma is the same owner as Cesar's but not as good of quality girls. Candies had been talked about on the local boards before but I've never visited. Muzz and Casa de George are very close to Cesar's but I've never been impressed with the girls.

When I started going to Guadalajara I hit up some of the strip clubs, but it always seemed to me that the agencies were a better value. Although I haven't visited all of them (and it's been years since I visited any of them, so maybe the situation is different now), the prices were higher, the quality no better, and sometimes you put yourself in more direct contact with some unsavory types. I'd much rather deal with an agency on my phone, and meet the girl at my own hotel or motel room. Plus some of the clubs were pretty hit or miss, while the better agencies seem to have a much higher success rate. I guess I could see it for a night out with a bunch of likeminded friends or something, but as a solo traveler, it's never been my preferred option.

You can also go to some of the lower end bars and get better deals but you might not find the quality of girls to be what you like. Last trip Cesar's was almost full with customers and no place to sit. I'd say 90% of the girls had big fake butts and boobs and the ones I talked to were mostly from Colombia. They did have some thin natural girls but not the norm in that place.

Yes the strip clubs offer services on site. If the girl feels comfortable with you you can arrange to see her after work.

I didn't inquire on services on my last trip but last year after COVID it was around 4000 pesos in Cesar's. So about double what you pay in Tijuana but remember that the club gets about half that. Now you can also rent a VIP room for around 2000 pesos for some time I forgot how long that is or they let you stay as long as your buying bottles. In that room you might get to negotiate better with the girls or get more since you are in a more private area and buying bottles. Kind of similar to the VIP rooms that over look the stages at HK.

If you get a girl to see you after work it should be around 2000 pesos an hour but with recent inflation that might of gone up some but the longer the girl spends with you the better price per hour you will get.

Well you happen to be looking in the cheapest places so you basically get what you pay for. Besides most Mexican men like bigger girls and since the estticas are just for afternoon quickies the looks aren't that important. Also if your an attractive girl why would you want to work for such little money. Depending on your budget you can spend a little more with some agency girls, girls on Twitter some can be very hot but they will cost more. You can also go to the strip clubs, GDL has many and lots of girls from South America.

The do it because so many gringos are * * *sies who pay the bribe. I get it. They load you into the back of the squad car and threaten to run you in for whatever real or trumped up charge. Unless you have committed a grave offense worthy of booking you, the are just bluffing you for the bribe. Every time you pay the cops you perpetuate the problem and make it harder for all gringos. The last time they did it to me was for having photocopies of my passport and FMM, not the originals. Originals ARE required under the law. I told them I would pay the judge or court if necessary. They kept me in the car and drove around to scare me. I didn't budge so they released me. Cowboy up.

I'm sure it depends on where you are and what you look like, but in 40-50 trips to Guadalajara over the past decade, I've only been hassled for bribes by police for bribes twice. The first time I just played dumb and acted like I didn't speak Spanish and he gave what amounted to a stern warning, threw my passport back onto my lap, gave up, and stomped back to his car. The second time I was in a taxi on the way to the airport at like 4 am and the cop pulled us over. The taxi driver said "If you have 200 pesos we can make sure we get to the airport on time". (I think it was 200—I couldn't swear now, but it wasn't a ton). By the time the cop got to the window, the driver had the bill in his hand, they exchanged, and I don't think even a word was spoken and we were back on the road.

As you know, it's not strictly a gringo thing. A lot of Mexicans pay mordidas for traffic violations too.

And there are upsides compared to the USA. If I get stopped for speeding here, my insurance rates potentially go up. I either have to pay an arm and a leg for deferred adjudication or take a defensive driving class if I don't want the ticket on my record. I can lose my license if I get too many tickets. A buddy of mine from Chihuahua once said something like "I keep a stack of 200 peso notes in my car, and I can speed with impunity. I love my country!"

It used to be in some places you had to pay money, maybe several thousand dollars, to get a job as a Mexican policeman. And so you'd go into the job expecting a return on your investment, in addition to your measly salary. I don't know if that's common any longer.

I guess it's a question of how much time you're willing to spend and your tolerance for risk. See here for for an example from a border town.

She quoted 500 including room. I agreed. I had my own condom but she insisted on buying one there .20 pesos. Tried to upsell me outside, as well as in the room. I didn't give in. She said she would make it great, etc. I started thinking with my little head, but I remembered I didn't have time for this. I passed on the upgrades. Made me wash my hands and she put the condom on with tissues on the side to not touch skin. While putting it on. Held the condom on during doggy style and I quickly busted a nut. I got a phone call in the middle of this which is why I had to hurry.

At one time the immigration police in Guadalajara were setting up roadblocks and kidnapping foreigners and extorting money from them, and maybe still are. Apparently state police and others were involved in this too.

Anyway, having proof you're in the country legally might reduce the chance someone would try to shake you down.

I've been stopped in GDL twice. One time was for speeding and the cop let me go without a ticket or mordida. The second time I was driving a rental car and two cops stopped me because allegedly the temporary license plates had expired. They wanted the equivalent of about $150, and said they were going to impound the car if I didn't pay up. I told them to go ahead, it's not my car, and they just let me go.

In general, if you don't have USA Plates on your car, Mexican police won't stop you unless you actually did commit a violation. I'm not sure if that does you any good if you're walking around though. Like someone said, you don't see a lot of cops walking around.

A few years ago in DF, in the morning walking La Merced. After I did the deed with a SW, I got picked up by a crooked cop. He put me on the back of a truck and after driving around he got me for 500 pesos. Then they let me go. (I had more money but that's all I had in my pockets).

Arrived in GDL and had to wait a few hours for my room to be ready so walked over to California Courts and meet Agatha. Great little body and dark skinned. The two main sw areas are in San Juan de dios and then later in the evening around plaza del sol on the Lopez Mateos side, but watch out for trannies there.
