When I got there in the cab, the cab driver told me be careful because its a dangerous area. And when he said that I told him just to take me back to my hotel, I did not feel like watching my back and worrying about someone trying to get me. So I went home and went to bed by myself.
Another good post. What do you mean by " a place to go with women for gdl?" What does gdl refer to and is this a street walker scene or what did you understand the set up to be?

    Thanks

Thank you for writing such detailed reports. I am currently gathering information for my upcoming trip. Can you please give us the url for the blog you were on? The places you describe sound like my type of scene.

You should also sign up as a senior member. It seems like you have a lot to offer.

    Thanks Again,

sounds great. i look forward to the food just as much as the sex. i won't be arriving until september but i welcome any advice you have to offer.

    One Way Ticket To Guadalajara

Back to mexico ($261 AA from NYC through Dallas). I am a gluton for punishment.

I will start my trip in guadalajara then head towards Mexico city and then who knows.

I am looking forward to my time in Mexico city. I really want to conquer that city. No promises though.

that's a tough one. given that you live in thailand and price is a consideration (prices for the best pfp options in gdl are similar to the usa) , your best bet might be to stick with krispy kreme. taxi fare from the airport to downtown is around $20. it's more to zapopan, less to tlaquepaque.

there are a number of table dance clubs on the road between airport and downtown that are open at night along with a lot of short time hotels. these clubs are reasonably priced by guadalajara standards. i've had a car and never tried to pursue this option in a taxi, although i think you could pull it off without your own car.

during the daytime there are the esteticas masculinas or massage parlors. compared to places on, say, ratchadapisek road, the women are ugly and the facilities are run down. you'll pay from $40 for 30 minutes at some of the cheaper establishments to a little over $100 for an hour at my favorite, [CodeWord123]. read the thread for more info.

if you're leaving in late afternoon, please be aware that mexicans eat lunch late. you may not have time to get back for your flight. my favorite restaurants are la matera, el jockey house grill, aniti li and i latina. you might have some trouble getting a taxi from the last two on my list, and the food has a bit of an oriental flare (maybe not desirable considering where you live) , so you might want to scratch them. if you're going for lunch, i'd recommend you go to tlaquepaque. this part of guadalajara is close to the airport and has some really good restaurants. i don't remember their names, but el abajeno there is fun and has typical mexican food, although the food is not quite as good as some of the other places in tlaquepaque.
good info; gracias, korb khun khrap. now waiting for the phone to ring for the next trip.

For the last year, I have been doing air courier work out of Bangkok. In the last 3 months, I have had runs to GDL 6 times but never thought to check this forum out; as I said. Dumb.

Anyway, I am usually in GDL for less than a full day, usually arriving in the early am and heading back to LAX late afternoon; really the wrong time of day and not enough time to play.

There have been two times when I had overnight layovers, staying at the airport hotel. Honestly, I was reluctant to venture out into a city I didn't know without an experienced wingman. Money is an issue and I was reluctant to put myself in the mercy of a taxi driver.

First question: what is the average cab fare from the airport to a desirable section of GDL. Is there a less expensive way to get into the city from the airport? I looked for bus info or tour info in the airport but couldn't find any.

Second question: If I only have one night, or a full day, what is the best area to head for? I probably won't do any mongering since Thailand is so much cheaper and girls are so plentiful but looking is always fun and I am SOOO sick of the airport BK and Krispy Kream. Just the chance of some local Mexican food would make the trip worthwhile.

It does tick me off that I have been to GDL 6 times and have never left the airport. Any info you can give me on making the best of the time I have without spending a lot would be great.

BTW; my last time through two weeks ago, Immigration at the airport was a total fucking zoo! 0630am, about 1000 people and zero crowd control. Two agents were stamping the foreigners. It took me almost 4 hours to clear! I never have experienced anything like it. Lots of pushing and line cutting, several fights and many fainting lady's. Security did absolutely NOTHING to maintain order. Does this happen often?
I too am totally sued to Bangkok! I'll be GDL Saturday! Hope to find the answers to all our questions! I hope immigration is less insane when I get there. After that long flight I'll be in no mood for chaos. BTW, I hear mongering is similar to Thailand in terms of price and type

It may be too late now, but try www.seductoras.com.mx Under Guadalajara tab you will find several girls, if it says "foto real" it means that it is supposedly their real photo.

Some of the girls that doesn't have this legend actually post their real photo as well. You can usually find a couple of gems here.

But be careful, as with all pages, agencies flourish and what you see may NOT be what you get!
