Honestly, there is nothing I like about Colombia. I was only in Bogota briefly, but some of the other guys on SA, that I respect, have all said Bogota is a better option. I think all the bigger cities in Mexico are much better then anything Colombia has to offer. All place take time, money and work. GDL is cool kind of similar to MDE, but much better. Had a recent short visit to Guadalajara. I am planning my first international strictly monger trip. Oven been resting back a long time into the forum and the question I have that you think would be easy to find already answered, is how well will I get by in Guadalajara as an 35 year old American English speaker. I've been to la Paz Mexico and also Manuel Antonio Costa Rica and had little to no trouble getting by there. I keep coming across names of places to stay in Guadalajara but each time I look them up there are several that populate with varying alterations of names.

I'm trying to plan my trip for one week beginning this Monday. I work for an airline so the air travel is free so I can go anywhere. I just want to make sure that I can actually communicate and at least somewhat connect with the girls I hope to interact with.

I've been reading all of moonshot posts and they've been quite helpful. If anybody's feeling generous and wants to give me the keep it simple stupid version of Guadalajara for an English only white guy I'd really appreciate it. I plan to do quite a bit of traveling here in the near future. Pattaya Thailand will be the next visit.

I've been to GDL four times now. When I first went I spoke almost no Spanish not even now I speak a minimal amount of Spanish. But I am improving my Spanish with each trip but I am not putting in enough effort to be anything but survival Spanish. None of the girls I've been with has spoken any English other than a few basic phrases such as Hello, and goodbye.

I'm still able to communicate with the girls using basic nonverbal gestures and the Google translate app. It is enough to have a good time with the girls. It would be better if you could speak Spanish to the girls but is not really necessary to have the type of sex that you want with the girl.

This seems to be the case for most hotels. I been communicating with the agencies a bit in prep for my trip (they are nice and helpful), Danys quoted 150 extra for travel fee for hotels around the Centro area, Conejitas says its included. Moonshot's range of 100-200 is spot on.

Also, Conejitas appears to also advertising accepting credit card (they list AMEX but I wonder if they also accept visa / mastercard). Would be interesting to get a bunch of credit card points for the hobby.
