I've done Covid test at GDL airport many times, LMP lab. First time there you download the app from the QR code and get a number. Then its dead easy, show up usually with no line, pay 500 pesos, wait 30 minutes then get it emailed and paper copy. These guys have it dialed.

Personaly I always show up to the airport early because on two occasions there were wrecks on the highway to the airport creating delays and one time the boarding pass scanner was down leading to a humongous security line, so I don't reccomend showing up at the last minute at GDL. Hopefully they will rid of this stupid Covid test soon anyway.

I highly recommend visiting SC. I brought my ATF there for a drink but we miscommunication and she asked for a table. So we sat down and shared a prawn dish and ordered drinks. There's live music. Mariachi and also folk dancing. Upstairs there is a tequila museum, bar and tequila for sale.

The decor is amazing. Old school.

One of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen in my entire life works there. And this includes trips to Brasil, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Russia and Japan. Her face!

On all my trips back to the USA, showing covid test results on my cellphone was fine for the airlines United and Delta. I agree with the post that it is not a problem.

Volaris let me get boarding pass (online checkin) but made me go to counter when i got to airport and show in person and clear to fly so that's why I was wondering.

I'm going to try to get thru security and do this at gate when boarding as their ticketing counter are damm slow in cdmx.

I have used a service in GDL that comes to your door to do your test. It's 900 pesos plus I tip 100. A little more expensive, but they literally come to your door, do the test, wait around for the results, and email then to you on the spot. No waiting in lines.

Just wondering, do folks at airport accept results being showed on Phone or tablet screen? Or paper printed result is a must?

I tried once at MTY and got denied so had to scramble for last minute printed version!

Last month flying out of PVR via United Airlines they asked to see the paper copy. I was asked one other time after that to show it. I just can't remember where in the process.

My test was done by a doctor associated with next door pharmacy. She used a home test kit, waited 10 minutes and printed out the results for me along with an email. 600 pesos.

I got my results via email and it was good enough to let me through by showing it on my phone. That being said, there was a QR Code with my results, so if they wanted to do their due diligence, they could have by verifying with the QR code.

I also used this medical clinic for my covid test on my last trip. It is well organized. You are greeted at the front and given a ticket. You watch the monitor for your number to be assigned to one of the teller booths. At the booth, they take information from you and they ask for your passport. Then you go to another room where they will call you in for the test. They conduct the test in a few minutes. They stick it up your nose a bit but it is tolerable.

For me, they told me to go to the website and enter my ID number and password on the receipt to get the results. When my friend did it, they told him the same thing. I am not sure why they switched from WhatsApp notification but that is the way it happened for me. It is easy to go to the website and download the test results. No problems at the airport.
