Not sure what you where thinking in regards to centro but I don't think it's a great place to stay. Not much to do around at night. I remember a post a short time back of a guy that stayed at a hotel in centro and had no trouble with visitors but yeah some girls might not like to go as it's not safe. Not sure what price your looking at but Riu is in a good part of town. Lots of cheaper places in that area as well. You are close to great restaurants and fun. No problems walking around at night.

I stayed in an airbnb next to the hotel and that club was blasting till early mornings from Wed to Sat. I would only stay there again on their off nights. It is a entertainment zone so noise is expected but this place is louder than those on Chapultepec Ave.

That is the wrong part of town for ficheras. You need to go East toward Centro and beyond. The ones mentioned by Keen Eye are for that special connoisseur. I have visited several similar for the adventure but not my thing. If you want a decent place to chat and drink with attractive and young ladies there is one place before covid called Victoria's near nueve esquinas area. I have not been there since before covid so be warned. Its worth a look. There is another a block away as well but not as good. Question on Hotel Love It, is that club across the street still noisy as hell till 4 am in the morning?

The front desk of my hotel had flyers for Laboratorio Tolsa, advertising rapid antigen tests for 1,000 pesos and PCR tests for 3,100 pesos.

Certain El Chopo diagnostic labs conduct rapid tests for 950 pesos, and I was planning on visiting one of them.

While on an early morning walk in the Americana district, I came across a clinic called "Santa Sofia Clinica Integral" which had signs up indicating they conduct tests. Their price was a mere 270 pesos, with results available the next morning. I was attended to by a medical assistant who spoke very good English and walked me through filling out the forms. Very good service.

I took the test at 8:30 am and the results were in my email at 7 pm that night.

Everyone should visit Parque Morelos at least once. During the day it's full of well-past-their-prime working ladies, either sitting on benches or slowly walking from bench to bench trying to drum up business from senior citizen males. I also enjoyed the action at 2 newly-opened fichera bars in the area, with ladies drinks costing 80 pesos. Albur Cantina is located at Av. Miguel Hidalgo why Costilla 14, while the Ayayay Cantina can be found at Calzada Independencia #389. My regular gal at Ayayay declined my takeout offer, but pointed to two other girls who would most likely accept.

Club El Cabrito is located on Calle Independencia 16 A. It's a dance hall that during the week is pretty much empty but has a couple of fichera ladies during the day. On weekends it springs to life as a dance club for older couples. I had one heck of a lot of fun drinking Dos Equis and watching the dancers late on a Sunday afternoon, and was even invited to sit at a table by a man and his wife and unescorted lady friend. I just returned from 2 weeks in Guadalajara. My report is not going to be of much value to many of you because my methods differ from most men who post here.

I stayed at the Hotel Casino Plaza, located on the western fringes of the city's historical district. It's located within short walking distance of the Juarez subway station, which provides access to 2 of GDL's 3 subway lines. The room was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, had plenty of hot water, and had the best hotel air conditioning system I've seen in years. The only complaints were the antique showerhead and the hollow-core entry door which allowed an excessive amount of hallway noise on rare occasions. Price was $30/ night and I would definitely stay there again.

I like daytime entertainment as I wake up at 6 am and am in bed by 9:30 pm. My method is to find a day-drinking bar with hostesses who will sit with me (ficheras) and give me the attention I deserve. If conversations indicate there are no onsite ladies available for "service", after a few beers I leave the bar and roam the streetwalker areas to find a suitable companion to take to a local short-time hotel.

I accept the fact that many of the bars are germ-ridden shitholes with disgusting bathrooms and that most of the women are generally a combination of fat, plain-looking, or well past their expiration dates.
