Trouble with Elforno

Also does anyone have trouble creating an account with elforo?
Yes, I'm also having trouble with Elforno. I created an account but then it wants me to validate it. But when I try to access my account it says "The specified username is currently inactive. " But then when I try to have elforno send me an activation email it says "The email / username information submitted could not be found. ". I tried this with two different emails / accounts and same results.
Clearly several of us are having an issue with this. Has anyone discovered a solution. If so, please write it in the forum so all that are having issues can see it.

I didn't have any problems either booking a flight from Volaris or getting a hotel from Booking.com. It might be that the blocks were in place since when Jalisco was red but I don't think they should be an issue anymore.
The new registration for elforo is not working for me either but the mchat is public which is where you can find new escort announcements which is a good starting point even without reviews.

I created an account last year so I have not tried to setup another account but El Foro is very helpful.
Just booked a round trip to CDMX. Had no problems. Hoping to catch a flight to GDL from CDMX after a few days in CDMX.

Hi Jbj64,
I'll definitely keep that in mind. I flew into Mexico a few weeks ago into a different state of Mexico so I'll be trying to head back to the US from a part of Mexico that still allows tourists in (Quintana Roo's Cancun, LOS Cabos, etc).

I am assuming gyms are still closed. Odd question to ask, but are hotel gyms allowed to open, they were in Cancun. Are bars open until 10:00 pm? I like a good nightlife scene on my trips, but obviously that is most likely out of the question for the next few months. I was considering a DR trip until I compared DR Cupid to SA in Guadalajara. Guadalajara seems to have a significant more amount of attractive young women. DR also just mandated bars and restaurants close at 8:00 pm Today. I did a Cancun trip in late June and it was ok, but weather and cheaper hotels makes GDL appear to be the better option. I am currently RTFF now and putting together my trip and plan on doing a full write up. I am in my mid to late 30's, bad spanish language skills, I noticed in Colombia I had a lot of looks just from women in general and they were generally receptive to some flirting and smiles, will that same behavior fly in GDL or are they more conservative than in Colombia? How do women in GDL feel about American male tourists? It would be nice to make some non-pro / semi-pro connections. GDL looks to have some great deals on nice hotels and the wgs on SA look top notch. Probably looking for a late July / early August trip.
I've been in GDL since June 29th. Gyms are open and all restaurant are open. I'm near Chapultepec and all the bars are open until 10:30-11 pm in weekends and they just recently decreased capacity again. Last week all tables were pretty much full but now it's every other table. Estética masculinas are open. I've been to Paloma VIP twice. First time the talent wasn't so good but second time was much better. They charge $650 for half hour. Enjoy stay safe!

Restaurants are open, according to my friend in GDL, bars are still closed. He updated me today. As far as GDL or DR, I haven't been to Dr, but GDL would be hard to beat. The only thing that comes close in my opinion is MDE. I have a late August trip booked to Puebla right now. I am waiting for two more weeks to make a final decision, but looking to punt and reschedule a little latter in the fall.

I haven't found GDL to be dangerous at all. I read a lot about crime in GDL but haven't experience it first hand. I'm 59, white, little to no Spanish but haven't had any issues. On one trip, myself and two friends walked about 15 blocks from our hotel and wound up in the middle of a GDL neighborhood, the streets were full, we were the only gringos anywhere to be found. People were extremely friendly. On another trip, we took an uber to the bus station, about round trip tickets to Tequila. Took the bus to Tequila with the locals, hung out all day there and then back to GDL. No issues. I have been a lot of places in GDL, no problems. I just try to blend in as much as possible, not flashy about anything, always observant of my surroundings.
I always heard the same thing about MDE as well. Never had an issue there either.

No, from my previous trips and I'm not hispanic. I have basic rules when I go anywhere:
Don't look for drugs.
Don't get sloppy drunk (unless you have wingman, and even that is at a minimum).
Blend in with normal people.
Don't get distracted if you are en route to your destination.
Be Alert of your surrounding..

I will be in GDL next week (my first trip to Mexico). I will write a report after I get there.

Research where the violent areas are and DON'T go there, as best you can.
I love Guadalajara. I found the people there to be friendly. I stayed in Americana, closed to Chapultepec so in the entertainment area. I walked around the area at midnight without a problem by myself.
Hope that helps.
Great advice, I had the experience in the GDL, but I do like MTY for girls better. I find the girls much more beautiful in MTY, but I am more into the natural look. GDL, is cheaper and the food is amazing. Yes, the people are so nice, but a little lazy for me. I love the energy of MTY and Tijuana, I did not find that as much in GDL, but great place.
