Went to Costa Azul--There was only one chica for 800--swore she was 18 but looked 14 and and scared. Too risky.

I ended up visiting more strip bars as they are more plentiful, but not too plentiful.
There are Three main clubs Kisses, Golden and Jaguar. They are on the road between ZIH and Ixtapa. Jaguar is the better.
At Jaguars which is on floor two, there is a casa de citas on floor one. I was told 2000 pesos, so I didn't bother.
Beers $3 Coronas at all bars. All bars asked a crazy prices for a chica drink.
Jaguar $15 chica drink $20 table dance.
Kisses $15 chica drink $20 table dance.
Horizon $12 chica drink $20 table dance
Copacabana (15 - 20) Copacabana, close to down town ZIH, is in older building, and was kind of dead late on friday night. 3-5 chicas, they come sit and talk with you then the guy come to ask if you'll buy her a drink. Same prices as other bars.
Taxista and bartender reports say-YES, Costa Azul is still in buisness!
But sadly I never got there. With only three nights and Hang over, etc.
I Partied in Bandidos Live music every night(local, non pro possibilities) I met a spanish girl, from costa del sol, also met the owner, and became friends w/ bartenders there. had a lot of fun there.
Also Estetica Lobo is open. This is the massage place, you pay for massage, then negotiate extras.
Gato pardo is another place I heard of, but never got to

I would like to find out more of Lazaro Cardeñas and Playa Azul.
As that is where I would go next in this area.
I hear there are Good bars w/ take out at reasonable prices there that cater to local marineros.

I'm curious if the aformentioned Costa azul still exzists. I've been here before, but I was attached. Not this time! I've also been to Mazatlan and know that is better for mongering. Just back from "spring break" in Zihauntanejo and I did find a little action.

I had just kind of got on my motorcycle in Morelia and headed down to the coast without any real planning. (this at the height of tourist season also).

Without researching it on WSG, I was forced to talk to locals to find out about the places of interest. (casas, strip joints etc.)

I found out about a "massage" place called El Lobo. It is located in Colonia Limon. Jerry is the owner and charges 250 pesos for a 40 minute massage. The propina for the girl is extra and she will charge you according to your needs. (900 pesos for full service). Room was clean and the girl was nice looking. (it opens at 12 noon, and I was there about 11:45). It was all good except she had a little stinky pussy after I got through with her. Luckily, the shower was just a few feet away and within 30 seconds after completion, I was in the shower washing off the funk!

I also made it to Kisses Strip Joint. It is very close to Lobo and is kind of on the main strip as you head out of Zihauntanejo towards Ixtapa. (would be on your left side heading out of town. (or right side if you are coming from Ixtapa).

It was a pretty nice place. I do not think I had to pay an entrance fee, and I do not think that there is a minimum drink consumption charge either.

They had about 10-15 girls in there. (1 really ugly one from Mississippi-USA) I ended up with a Mexican (hardcore pro in my book) with fake tits and I really think she had silicon implants in her ASS also!

After reading the previous message, I had to once again give the old Costa Azul a visit. The girls have all changed since the last time I was there, so I had to start from scratch. I chose Estrella (it's her real name, it's also tatooed across her lower back) and we went to one of the very nice upstairs room. After the requisite shower we negotiated a 700 peso session. We had a very nice GFE good time with both of us visiting nirvana.

I highly recommend the Costa Azul. Not a lot of English spoken here (since I speak fluent Spanish it is not a problem for me). Thank you all for all your posts. Was just in Zihuatanejo and went to the Costal Azul. Would never have found it without this site. It is located very close to the Plaza de Kiota, at Av. Paseo Del Palmar O Marina Nacional No. 32. Their phone number is 554 56 88. It is a white building and you have to buzz the intercom to enter. I buzzed and a girl said something to me in spanish, and I just said cerveza. She let me in and there were 4 girls in the courtyard at 1 p.m. I motioned toward one, a 19 year old named Paula. We negotiated 500 pesos, and the room was 200 pesos. Had a regular room with a door. Very good GFE. She was shy at first, but gave a great performance. As a full-time resident of this fine area, I can tell that there is a lot of good talent here, and will be more in the coming year. An expatriate has taken over the old CopaCabana on the mains street and turned it into a much higher-class place. All the bartenders, bouncers, etc. all wear uniforms and they charge to enter. While the prices have risen, so has the quality of the merchandise. The girls are all from Guadalajara and Mexico City and are very nice looking. While this may not be as upscale as some of the girls at Kisses or Jaguar, the prices aren't in the "Zona Rosa" stratosphere that sometimes are discovered at the other clubs.

Taurus is in business, but the quality of the girls there has gone way down. El Gato which is right next door to Taurus is very hit and miss. Siglo 21 which just opened this year and is just towards Ixtapa from Kisses is okay, a step down in price and quality from Kisses, but worth a visit.

The only true casa de citas (house of dates, wink) is the Costa Azul, which is two blocks up from the Plaza Kyoto. Like some of the Esteticas in town, this is only open in the day from about 11am until about 6pm. You go into a little courtyard and have a beer while the three or four girls come out. You can chat with them or just watch tv. If you like one just nod at her and off you go. 150 pesos for the room and the rest for the girl. I have had the best GFE I have ever had here, and had one of the worst mongering experiences too. The ironic thing is that the two were sisters. The older one was incredible, orally skilled, enthusiastic, orgasmic, with and engaging personality. Not the best body in the world but a solid 7. Her sister was three years younger and a knockout, but just laid there, with no warm up, no oral, nothing but the bare minimum and wanted to charge more (about 50 usd) than her sister (40 usd). I guess I was just spoiled. A good place and if you hit it with the right girl, it will be a very good experience.

I prefer the cantinas that line the street just past the Jugaria Oly though. It is on the main street just before you get to the Copacabana. There are about 10 cantinas down this street. Be careful though as two of them are "Joto" (tranny) bars, and I tell you all, some of these guys are gorgeous. I was looking one up and down, and until he spoke I was fooled. It is very hit and miss in these cantinas, but sometimes you can find the pearl among swine. I drive here to one of the autohotels (a great Mexican way to have a quickie). You drive your car into a parking spot by your room and pull the curtain. The attendant comes out and takes your money and hands you towels. 200 pesos for 4 hours. Nice clean room, big bed, tv with porn if that is your thing. She showers, I shower and we both lie on the bed. She proceeds to give me the best CBJ I have ever had with lots of attention to the entire region. Then jumps on Cowboy and rides me until completion. We lay there for a while so I can recover then I start on her very tasty nipples and proceed to stimulate her, bringing her to climax in a very short time. We go to a second session doggy and I am satisfied once again. After we both shower again, I take her back to the club with 500 pesos and a big smile on my face. I slip the owner 50 pesos and thank him for a night that I will remember.

I had some interesting experiences recently in Zihuatanejo. I was looking for some action at my hotel rather than at a strip club or MP, and I did have some success. First of all, I found the Hotel Costa Azul that was referred to, which is on Paseo del Palmar, just off of Plaza de Kioto roundabout and clocktower near the city center. It looked a little fortress-like for my tastes with an intercom and all, so I didn't go, but it could very well be good. I also went by the strip clubs further down on Paseo del Palmar from Plaza de Kioto, El Torre, and I believe the place next door is one too. Called something with the word Gato (cat) in it. So, can't give you any tips on those. I

So I was wandering around to see if I could find an SW and had no success whatsoever. I was about to ask one woman if she was, but turns out she was just waiting for a cab. I was just about to head back to my hotel when these two guys (maybe 19?) come up to me and ask me if I want to buy a pair of shorts that they had found. I said no and moved on. Then I bumped in to them again since we both were just walking around. They asked me where I was from and we chatted a bit. Then one guy asked if I was looking for a girl. (Shit, do I look that desperate?) Anyway, he said he knew some people and it would cost about 400 pesos. (Yahoo!) So we walked about half mile or so to this house, and he goes inside to see if this girl is there. Turns out she's not there, so he leads me to several different normal local bars, where he works very hard to hook me up. It was pretty amazing. He talked to several different bartenders who told him to talk to various girls. Some weren't working, others were with guys already in the bar, one wanted 800, which I probably should have taken in retrospect since she was so damn hot, but didn't. They were all *very* hot and early-20s. Finally we ended up in this strip club called Copacabana or something on Avenida Morelos. He talked with a girl working there, and since it was dead, we agreed on 700, 500 for her and 200 for the club. We took a cab back to my hotel and had almost 2 hours of great, hot sex. All he wanted from me was 100 pesos. He lives and works building furniture at a building on Calle Adelita on the Playa Madera side of the canal. It is just down from the bridge to Plaza de Kioto and very close to the canal. I'm not sure if you can track him down, but it's worth a shot to get some good local lovin'. The building has a good sized yard in front of it, one of the few that does. His English is OK, but not great, so we spoke Spanglish.

Another tip is to walk along the main Paseo del Pescador and chat with one of the guys who try to rope you in to the restaurants on the beach. They typically have lived in the US and speak English quite well. Several of them asked if I wanted to dine in their restaurant and then whispered, "want some weed." I went up to one guy and asked him about the girl scene. He only had some general suggestions (such as the strip clubs), but I suspect that some of them know more and could hook you up.

Finally, I looked for a local paper for classified listings, but I guess it is only published weekly or a few times a week, so I couldn't find one in the short time I was there. So, I got the Acapulco paper, and it was filled with listings. I tried calling a few agencies there to see if any had girls in Zihuatanejo, but none did. It's about 4 hours away, though.

Otherwise, it is a wonderful city to chill out it. It has a great local flavor and the scenery is awesome, including the chicas. I can't wait to get back!

Spent the past week in Zih/X. For showbars I think Taraos is still likely the best. On the way into town from X is Kisses on the right and Jaguar on the left. As Robot said below Kisses is OK. Jag seems more of a locals place, but if you speak spanish and can fit in the rates are about half. One of the guys that was with us hung around after we left and took a girl from Jag back to our hotel (Dorado) and apparently got a very unpleasing look from his boss when he saw them in the lobby. Poor guy.

There are also a number of massage and/or 'hotel' places that are worth checking out. If you're not fluent in spanish and fitting in the local scene you'll probably have to get a cab driver to get you in.

Hotel Costa Azul is about a block from the main roundabout next to the canal. They have several rooms surrounding a courtyard with a covered patio along one side. There were 4 girls working when I visited, all pretty, but one a bit heavier than I prefer. Cost was $500 for an hour and I left happy with my investment. The room we were in only had a curtain for a door which was a bit disconcerting, not sure about the other rooms.

Estitica Lobo is not too far from Kisses. Similar setup with about 5 or 6 rooms surrounding a courtyard that includes a bar/patio. A bit cleaner than Costa Azul (which wasn't bad though) and the guy who runs it is pretty cool. This is a massage place that includes extras. After a beer with everyone, paid $200 for the room & massage, chose a girl and went to the room. The rooms are spartan, but have a massage table and a bathroom/shower. She wanted $1000 for extras which I happily agreed to. I'd just come off the golf course so she undressed me and we hopped into the shower which included BJ's 1 & 2 and a few other things :-). After drying off she gave me about 40 minutes of very very excellent massage, BJ3, and the main act in 3 positions, followed by another shower with her. After another beer with everyone I went home a happy man.
