Everyone's situation is different. In my case, ALL my long term girls have had my number, know my identity and visit my home. I'm single and have nothing to fear from exposure. My partners are not escorts and have more to fear if they are asked for what they got the money.

Brother, I understand the dilemma you are going thru right now and considering it all can go south very badly, your are right in thinking that it is a mistake.

However whether it will go bad or not depends on girl's mental status, her ambition and her thinking. However If you both has some feelings for each other, it has potential to turn very bad considering at some point someone has to part ways. You are not going to marry her or keep her forever. But a mistake is a mistake, and you van only learn from it and not repeat it again. You can tell her to keep the convo on telegram only and not use whatsapp and at the same time hope that she remains a sane, reasonable person in future, when things go south.

It all depends on your compatibility. I too had shared my personal number once I was comfortable with the girl.

And with how you explained I feel you both should be safe. Issue would be if one of you falls in love and the other don't.

As long you both clear on that concept, number sharing should not be an problem.
