1. DIA. I broke my own rule of not chasing a profile with a face showing pic. I liked the profile, connected, prompt response, good English, good comms. Till I was told that a virtual arrangement was necessary before meeting. And that she desperately needed 25 k to pay rent on the very next day. Smelled a scam backed off. Location has now been changed to Noida.

Simeltaneous device usage shoudnt be an issue as TG themselves allows 4 devices concurrently. I actually use Telegram Web mostly, and use TG app only when someone sends a self-destructing message (since Web doesn't support such messages). And hence this shouldn't be the root cause of banning.

I do message frequently, but its nowhere close to an extent of spamming / bulk messaging.

Someone reports you. That may happen since SA women are short-sighted on most occasions, and if our ideas don't match they may do this instead of just deleting the chat! I don't think I pissed off anyone to that extent yet: the But, will let TG come back with RCA on what happened in my case.

I was also using TG on one mobile and on web. So two devices.

I am always polite in my chats. Even when if I don't go ahead with someone I thank them for their time. But yeah, who knows? Someone might have reported. But TG support has kept mum. So I have no idea.

I didn't get any response from telegram support. So lost my ID. And all chats and contacts. Created a new ID on my other number and renewed my SA membership.

I was not able to recover my ID after contacting customer care / helpdesk multiple times through their web site / mails. Finally I have taken a new Sim to make new ID.

This has happened to me as well. If you message more than certain number of people within a specific time or somebody reports you or try to login simultaneously from different devices (say desktop / Tablet / Phone) your TG ID may get blocked due to security reasons. If you are lucky you will get back your ID, otherwise your number / ID is gone forever.

I have been using TG on my second phone. And I have connected with few of you through the same.

Today I was suddenly logged out. And when I tried to login again, I got the msg that my phone number has been banned. I have raised the same with Telegram support. I don't know what will come out of it. Has anyone else faced the same?

I just want to ask you how to manage this. All my seeking contacts are gone now. Is there a way to recover those ids? I can go back to seeking but I will have to renew my subscription and again do the rounds. Please suggest.

This scammer goes by the name Tanya (formerly Nandini) is a ***** or guy who puts out video messages and voice messages with the nose / face shown. I had deflected this scammer who wanted video sessions before. She again messaged in Telegram stating a new name and saying she got my ID from another SA member. She had forgotten that she had spoken to me before. Anyways, made fun of her by posting her old messages back to her and she ran away after deleting the chat. Here's a pic of the videos she sends. Be careful if you see this coming.
