I went over late this afternoon to meet one of my providers, we met at a hotel on Av. Juarez..no problems..a tranquil mood in the city..cops were out, but they did not bother me..and I am as white as you can get. I know it is a risk, but again, in EP, the selection is not as great, prices are usually higher, and I worry about LE. So to me, it's a crap shoot.

Robert 123's update interested me..and two things stuck out right away. I used to prowl over by the gym area, but realize it can be dangerous due to the cops. Mariscal Street is the same thing, whether it is at night, or as in his case, 2 PM. However, rest assure, the cops that robbed Robert 123 and his guide, Rubin, know Rubin quite well..and that Rubin is getting paid dollars from an americano. The cops knew they weren't discussing last week's football scores, and that's what prompted the robbery.

I will rarely walk over by the gym/Mariscal area now, but when I do, definetely feel uneasy. I also used to have a "guide," Ramon, who still hustles mongers in the evenings in this area.

Again, try to keep your bigger bills in money hidden, and for anybody from EP, etc., the more Spanish you know, the better. I understand Spanish quite well, and will continue to go to Juarez..but..with extreme caution.

Question for the group here. I'm a "white boy" living in El Paso. I'm thinking it might be safer for me to go to Juarez by going out to Exit 37 at the truck stops along I-10, and trying to hook up with Papa Smurf, Cadillac Man, Willie Coyote, or someone like that. Yes, I realize I'll have to pay double price for the girls in the MP's, because they get their kick back, but just walking over to Juarez, looking for pussy, has gotten too dangerous for me.

Another option is to talk with the taxi drivers that hang out near the downtown bridge and parking lots (on the El Paso side). A lot of them used to bring people over to the MPs, and I believe many still do. I still see El Paso taxis in Juarez occasionally. The rules are that they can pick you up on the El Paso side, and bring you back if you stay with them, but they can't pick you up in Juarez.

I I was walking down the sidewalk on Mariscal with my tour guide, Rubin, around 2 pm, and we were looking for SW's by the gym. .

On a side note here, anybody here know Rubin, the tour guide that hangs out by those two clubs called Queens, or Hollywood, or something like that, on Mariscal? He's about 40-45 years old, salt and pepper hair. Rubin was a great tour guide for me, and I miss working with him. He would hook me up with a ton of SW's by the gym area. His services were invaluable to me. I was able to get with any SW I wanted in this area, because of Rubin's assistance. Things were going great with Rubin and me, until the crooked cops fucked us both over. Rubin and I were just walking down the sidewalk at 4pm on Mariscal, and the fuckin cops saw us, and pulled over. They gave us the shakedown treatment, and robbed both of us. They let me keep $5 to get back across the bridge. They told me if they saw me in Juarez again that day, they would throw me in jail. (the fuckin assholes) Rubin and I weren't doing anything, but just walking down the sidewalk. I haven't been back to Juarez since this happened.

I miss being able to go to Juarez, hooking up with Rubin, and being able to fuck all the SW's I wanted by the gym. It was a blast hanging out with Rubin. Rubin knew all the SW's in this area, and they all knew him. To me, Rubin was, "da man." He could hook me up with any SW in this area. I would tip him about $60 for hanging out with me, for about 3 or 4 hours, each week. His assistance was well worth it to me. I would imagine Rubin misses hanging out with me, and that $60 I tipped him every week. He would always go buy groceries for his family, with the money I tipped him, while I was fucking the SW's he helped set me up with. It was a great partnership, (one for the ages), that worked out great for both of us.The crooked cops fucked it all up.

That's why I haven't been to Juarez day or night since it all started. I really missed Juarez.

After being robbed by the crooked cops over there, I haven't been back to Juarez either. But I really miss Juarez, and the pussy action over there.

I'm wondering how to get in touch with these services that take you over there, and bring you back. Should I just drive out to the truck stops at exit 37, and ask around, or what? I'm not a trucker, and I don't have a CB radio to set up an appointment. Are these services still in business, or are they too afraid to venture into Juarez anymore?

I had a similar type situation happen to me in Juarez. I was walking down the sidewalk on Mariscal with my tour guide, Rubin, around 2 pm, and we were looking for SW's by the gym. One SW I knew saw me, and came running up to me, saying hi, and wrapped her arms around me. Some piece of shit hispanic dude nearby saw this, and was jealous, I guess, so this piece of shit walks up to me and wraps his arms around me, acting like he's in love with me, or something. I pushed this piece of shit away from me. I was ready to deck him, but both my tour guide, and the SW were grabbing on to me, telling me no, don't hit him, that the cops would fuck with me, if I did. After this incident, I felt like if I was assaulted in Juarez, I wouldn't be able to fight back, or the cops would fuck with me. That's fucked up.

I thought that I would post this, a little something that happened to me a while back in Juarez, Stuart and myself stopped by the new V Bar, just off 16th of Septembre to have a drink with one of his girls, we left and ventured to the Kentucky Club, Stuart left early to go home and I stayed on for a few more cocktails, as I began the short trek to the bridge, I crossed the street to buy some cig's, suddenly, a short little prick lunged at me and caught me right on the chin with a punch, I wasn't hurt but out of pure reaction, shot a straight right back to knock him down, the cig vendor told me to vamos as the cops were close by, when I got home, my chin was a bit sore, but I began to wonder, what if the asshole had stabbed me with a knife or worse yet shot off a pistol, a few days later, Soraya phoned me to say that she had been in the V Bar and a gunman came out of the bathroom firing a 9mm pistol (she dove under the table ala "Scarface!)By the way, the V Bar (old Ahuas) is a pretty swanky joint. Last week, the owner and coach of the soccer club Indios were murdered. I don't buy the theroy, that only drug people are being shot. Juarez is worse the Bagdad or Beirut at its worse. Up until this above listed trouble, I had still been going to the luxxor and out with Soraya and the girls. No longer. Too dangerous for this puppy!

it's definitely not just bad guys shooting bad guys. The crime rate is high... robbery, kidnapping, you name it. And the criminals have no regard for human lives. Last week a university professor from Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Juárez (ITCJ), i.e. Technical Institute of Juarez was shot to death. He and his family was in Plaza Juarez and some dudes drove up trying to kidnap him. He resisted and escaped. The perpretrators seeing that the kidnapping was unsuccessful, shot him and took off. He died at the hospital. Imagine that. A university profesor in Mexico, hardly can be called rich. But these people would kill anyone even just for very little money.

My girlfriend, who lives in Juarez, told me that one time she and her family were walking in the mall (also Plaza Juarez mall) and they realized that they were being followed. Her mother screamed and those dudes that followed them took off running.

Mexico's criminal justice system and law enforcement system is broke, non-functional. There is virtually no consequences in committing crime because chances are you will not be caught at all. It's just horrible.

Now back to the good stuff. If you like exploring the city, check out Bar Rokoko on Zaragosa about 1/2 mile west of Juan Gabriel. It's not a strip club or bordello, but it does have some fine attendants, and some are negotiable. No hotels nearby though.

"Here in Juarez, I'm in my house and hear shots every day and I hear ambulances and I wonder who just died," said Humberto Rico, who works at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez and marched with thousands of others in a recent protest against the bloodshed. "This is every day. We are all scared. We don't leave the house — not me or my children — not to eat or to go to the movies because there are shots all the time."

I think there are around 2000 murders for Juarez this year, 2009, and only about 37 arrest related to those murders. The problem is, is that there's not much of an investigative arm to the police dept over there. They just ride around in their vehicles over there. That's about it. Not much investigation into crimes over there. So most crimes go unsolved. Plus, all the police corruption over there. Yep, it's scary.
