I would guess that if Felipe Calderon wins that things would feel pretty much the same to 'me' and my experiences in the Cd. .

But would they be the same for the residents and how drastic of a change for them if Obrador wins?

After all the wealth of info on this board, I flew to El Paso to monger in Juarez. After arriving at El Paso’s airport at 0930, I picked up my rental car and drove directly to the Santa Fe bridge area. I parked my car at the nearest parking lot I could find to the bridge and paid my $3 for parking. Once I crossed into Juarez, I caught a taxi to Luxxor for my morning massage.

One poster on this board recommended giving the taxi drivers the street corners you want to go to, rather than the name of the massage parlor, because of the taxi driver cuts. This was great advice. I caught a taxi using this method and picked a street corner two blocks away from Luxxor and walked the rest. The taxi driver had no idea.

I walked in to Luxxor at 1120 (they open at 1000) and there were only two girls working and both were busy. The hostess or madam, or whatever you call her, told me she had more girls but they were all running late. I must’ve waited in their TV lounge room for almost 50 minutes before a girl walked in. If you had to choose between one evening/night in Nogales and one in Juarez, which would you choose?

Since I live here in El Paso and am always in Juarez, Nogi is a great change of pace. I have only been 3 times and it is great. Lots of eye candy but pricey, so for a guy like me I just go for the show.

If you are really restricted time wise to one of the two I recommend Juarez but if you could wing the time hit Nogi first then the next night hit Juarez. It is only a 6 hour drive between EP and Nogales AZ.
