Juarez Report
I just visited Juarez and a lot has changed in a year or two. When you cross the bridge and turn right your encounter nothing but razed and torn down buildings in the Mariscal area. Don't even bother to go right and turn left down Av. Mariscal. All the old clubs and hang-outs are gone. There are still several blocks further down that are still intact and involved in the sex trade, but you should access them from further down Av. Juarez.
If you walk down Av. Juarez (south) about 7 blocks you can turn right (west) and go past Av. Mariscal and Josue Neri Santos gym and in three blocks arrive at Casa Colorado (now called San Souci). The new location of the Hollywood strip club is in the same area. There is some street action in this area but mostly near or after dark. There were several girls during the afternoon (near Club Lauras – 1 block south of San Souci) but very low quality during the day.
There are several good reports summarizing the situation in the area behind the Cathedral and the very low cost street hookers and cantinas. If you look like a Gringo, you really stand-out. I did not feel unsafe in this area or even in the cantinas and bars. I do speak Spanish well however.

These same reports are out of date when it comes to the Av. Mariscal area near the bridge. It is a 10-11 block walk from the bridge to the market area south east of the Cathedral.
I was near the Cathedral on a Monday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed watching people in the street and in the cantinas, however the quality and quantity of the streetwalkers was very low at that time, but that was before about 5 PM. Perhaps later in the day or on Fridays and Saturdays there are more or better hookers. The women in the cantinas were plentiful but generally overweight and unattractive. Besides the market area, these reports also describe Luxxor/Siluetas massage parlors and Eduardo's night club (now moved from its previous location in the Mariscal district).
It is an extremely long walk from the bridge to Luxxor/Siluetas/Eduardo's down Av. Juarez and left down Ave 16 de Septiembre. It is about 10 blocks from the bridge down Av. Juarez to Av 16 de Septiembre and 23 blocks from Av. Juarez to Luxxor. I recommend a $3 to $5 cab ride unless you just like to walk along and enjoy the sights in Juarez, which sometimes I do. Luxxor is on Ave 16 de Septiembre between Peru and Uruguay street on the South side of 16 de Septiembre. (Other posts on this board do not always make it clear which geographical direction to walk from Luxxor to Siluetas and other local spots.) I walked from Luxxor to Siluetas (1822 Jose Borunda Calle – approximately 2 blocks south of 16 de Septiembre and one block east). If you go one more block south and another block east you come to Eduardo's night club 1858 Ave Vincente Guerro which was closed on Monday when I went there about 5 PM.
I picked Sandy out of the lineup at Siluetas. I only paid $30 total (not $30 massage plus $30 for extras which I expected based on previous posts). She was very nice and accommodating. I gave her a $5 tip. She was the best there and a solid 7 in looks and 7 in performance (CBJ and F). I did not ask her about DATY.
I ordered a cab before I left Siluetas and took the cab ($5) to San Souci (formerly Casa Colorado) at about 7 PM as it was getting dark. The street girls were just coming out in quantity. Some near San Souci varied from poor to good. I picked a good one and paid only $20 for everything including the room. Jacqui I think was her name. She was slim, not very tall, beautiful but small breasted. She did a CBJ on the bed but wanted me to cojer standing up doggie style in front of a large mirror. This actually was very nice because I could see her face and whole naked body in the mirror, very erotic. On the street in that area you do however, have to be careful to get a girl who was born that way. You can't always tell by looking. I usually ask "panocha? " and if she answers Si, then I proceed. They are usually ok within a block East and a block South of San Souci. On other blocks you have to be careful.
Later I went into San Souci and met Azul, a very thin, petite 25 year old with very nice natural C breasts (cost $40 for her and $15 for a very shabby room). Later I went out on the street and found another tall very sexy girl with fish-net stockings, (named Erica) for $30. In the room I had to convince her to take off all her clothes. She wanted to have sex standing up (no mirror), but I convinced her lie down on the bed. I should have made it clear from the beginning "mamar y cojer sin ropa" like you need to do with street girls in Tijuana. I went back into San Souci to rest up. Talked to a girl in San Souci while there, but she was little too heavy for me. I later went out on the street and found a large breasted beauty named Sonia ($20). I finally crossed-back over the bridge at about 10 PM quite happy.

I too generally tip $5.00 for good service/gfe. However sometimes I take the girl up for 2 hours then I add another $5.00 for a total of $10.00.

Better service
I generally tip $5 at either Genesis or Marilyns. I have very infrequently tipped $10 for way above average service. Not into anal though. I find that if you repeat with the same girl, you get better service each time, beginning with the 2nd or 3 visit. Of course there may be some problems with this. If you want to change to another newer girl you "may" loose the service improvements from the first one. It makes a difference to some and not to others. After all it is "just a job".
As an example, it will take a little while for them to remove their "uniform" on the first visit. By the third it is usually taken off when they close the door.
I have have poor service from only one girl at either of these places. She did not last long.

10-10-09 04:45 #2984It is too difficult to nail this down when you are dealing with Mexicans. Also so many different cabbies. A cab may be from the same company but the drivers are virutally independant.

How much should I expect to pay for a cab from the border (on the Mexican side) to Genesis, have him wait and then back to the border?
I have RTFF but am unsure about the current going prices.

It's open! I'm relieved in more ways than one. Went back to Marilyn's on Tuesday and the gates were unpadlocked and wide open, as were the chicas. A nice selection who were friendly, accommodating and skilled. Sergio has a real talent for choosing talent. I asked him about the locked gates I encountered on my visit of a few Sundays ago and he told me that they were closed then will be closed on Sundays for a while as business has been slow or non-existant on those days. Genesis
Genesis is always one of my favorite stops, along with Marilyn's previously mentioned. Sr Lopez and son have two nice operations here. The son is at Genesis and the father is at Analies next door. Good line up of girls, most 6 to a little 8+. There were 7 available when I last stopped in about 10:30 Friday. There is no rushing and they do their best to please. I find that the 6 to 8's give much better service than the 9's and 10's. They have something to prove to get you to come back. I occosionaly find a good 9 or 10 but not often. It only gets better if you go back to the same girl 2 or 3 times.
Parking area is enclosed so your vehicle is safe.
Have fun but Watch Your Back in Mexico now.
Bridge is a real pain. It from 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 hours to drive back across it.

Definitely NOT closed. I was down this week. Sergio had more girls than I have seen before. I have been going for about 8 years. There were 8 to 10 girls in the 5 to 8 range. Received great GF type service. The attitude of the girls, with the exception of "Linda" 2 years ago has always been a 9 or 10. It still is.
I never miss Marilyn's when I go down. My only problem is I can not stay long.
Doe to recent favorable coments I did go by Luxors. This was my second time there. I did not stay for service either time. Possible bad timing but that is not all of the problem. This time (as my one previous visit, the only available girl was no better than a 5 or 6. I did go to the room but did not stay. She wanted $40, I have been seeing a $30 Price recently on this site. Her overall attitude is what stopped me. It was a 2 at best. I will not go back, wasted my time on two trips, that is enough.
