Ok a few reports I've gone to j town a few times in the past weeks. Ok so el encanto I've tried 3 times in different days and not one girl I would stick my Dic* into. I went to Venus MP yesterday for the first time in a long time. I have been going to Sirenas, but felt the need for a change. For some reason I feel guilty when I don't choose ones I have been with before, but variety is the spice of life and especially so with women. Venus changed locations a while ago and the new place looks like a real sh*thole from the outside, but I was surprised to see the inside was pretty clean and there were several (around 7-8) quite doable chicas available at 2 in the afternoon. I strongly urge taking a cab from the Santa Fe Bridge to Sirena's MP. Taking a bus when you have blond hair will really make you stand out and without someone to guide you it will overly complicate things. Serena's is one of the closest MPs from the bridge and they don't pay commissions to the cabbies. The cab driver will likely try to talk you into going to some place he will get paid, but stick to your guns and go to Sirena's. Sirena's is clean, the price is fair, and the girls are young and almost all 7's IMHO. It's hard for me to pick one because they seem all about the same quality to me. I usually try to go around 3p in the afternoon wed-sat and there should be at least 5-6 to choose from at that time. I pay 400 pesos but some guys talk them down to 300. If you want a BBBJ its an extra pop of 100-200 pesos. The cab driver will take you there and back to the Santa Fe Bridge for around 200 pesos or so. Most guys negotiate the fare before they get into the cab, but I have done this so many times I usually just hand them the 200 pesos and they don't complain. So all told you are looking at maybe 800 pesos. At the current exchange rate that's only $66 for a girl you would pay a whole lot more for in the States. Have fun!

I almost forgot to add that you should convert you money to pesos. You will get a much better deal than paying in dollars.

I will wear pants with some dirty Shoes and a T shirt, possibly a hat so my blond hair doesn't stand out from a mile away. I want to start off with a MP for my first visit. Any advice? Where should I cross, Norte or over by the Zoo. Where should I park to walk over? And recommendations for MP's? And if so how much should I tell the cabby ill pay. I've read through the other post, so but still not completely clear. Is there any decent places within walking distance of the bridge or is it too risky to get rolled up by a cop to walk any further than the cab, you think ill get shit from the cops that early in the day. I figured if I have a clear cut plan on where I'm going and how much to bring then I should be good. Should I take USD or Mexican Pesos? Probably dumb newb questions, but I've read varying reports and most where form a while ago. Things seem to be much safer now, and I'd like to avoid having to drive to Columbus, NM and crossing there for a big maybe- not to many reports there.

Where should I cross?

I don't know which border crossing is better. I have only crossed at the Santa Fe Bridge. To get to the Santa Fe Bridge take Santa Fe Street south, you will see a couple of parking lots on the street. Pretty easy and straight forward.

What should I pay the Cabbies?

As you enter Mexico, the closer to the border the more the Cabbies want to charge you. The last time I was in Juarez I believe the Cabbies closest to the border wanted $10 to take me to Villa Manport Hotel which happens to be near two MPs. Instead, I walked up Juarez St. And found a cabbie near the Cathedral in front of the plaza for $7. In any case, don't tell them you want to go to a MP, the cabbie will see dollar signs and offer to take you on a tour, and offer to wait for you at the MP for a return trip. I don't want any of those services.

Taking a cab to any MP will trigger a large commission for cabbie. If the MP normally cost $40 then it will cost you $60. You can of course get dropped off near the MP and walk in yourself to avoid the kickback.

Recommendations for MP's?

I haven't been to any MPs in a long time so I can't recommend any. MP's are always hit or miss. Lots of turnaround at these places and you never know what you are going to get when it comes to service. I would suggest MP El Encanto and MP Sirena because they are easy to get to by bus.

MP Cleopatra is the closest to the Santa Fe Bridge. Again, hit or miss. Stick your head in and check it out.

Do not use the taxis that are in Juarez ave, they know you are foreigner and they will cost you more, walk a little bit to V Guerrero or near or til the railway, that will be better for you guys, I'm local I know how they work

I've never heard, or read, about a cabbie kidnapping anyone. Again, I'm as certain as can be (I said 95%) that he had no such intention with me. But that doesn't negate the fact that the cartel employs cabbies as informants. That fact has been testified to over and over again by a variety of experts in hearings before Congress, in federal court, and elsewhere. I have had multiple jobs which have required me to be informed about the practices of the cartels, from the Gulf to the Zetas to La Linea to El Chapo. Every major cartel in Northern Mexico, and the practice of employing cab drivers as informants is used by every one of them. Maybe it makes no difference to you, but for me personally, I always drive.

I don't know what information they could supply to the cartels unless they want directions to the Pink Lady. And I am sure they can hook you up with a small bag of pot or coke, so in that respect they work for the cartels, but I would be a lot more worried about the real danger of getting your car stolen or being pulled over by the cops after a couple of beers and end up in jail. I'll take my chances with the cabs.
