I did get a Tijuana trip booked however just in last few days before airfare goes up. I could only justify it as was able to book my hotel room in National City area for around $100/ night. Usually I prefer downtown San Diego or Imperial Beach last trip in Nov. 2020 I really liked. But even now those rooms are well over $200/ night so much demand.

And rental car there for 6 days forget it, cheapest I could find was around $450!
