    Asian presence in Mty.

Unstoppable, forgive me if I sound rude but I just wanted to point out that I noticed an Asian presence in mty. I have ran into a few thinking that they are tourists from the United States but then I hear them talk and they talk just like any other Mexican person from Monterrey. I went to a place off padre mier called the plaza de tecnolgica or something which is a multi story mall where they sell nothing but high tech gear and noticed that Asians love their technology in Mexico just like in the USA. They are very nice people.

It will probably get much worse, before it gets better, as we continue to tighten the border. The drugs coming into America from Mexico has to stop. It is just out of control now, for all countries involved.
Being that I am in Monterrey right now, I can say that the bad Honduran gangs hate anyone who looks like an American, they are so messed up. I am not saying that all Hondurans are bad people. But today I almost got robbed and possibly beaten up at the Macroplaza by Hondurans just for looking American. I got the hell out of that area as fast as I could after they started talking smack about beating me up.

I will not go to Laredo to monger anymore Dramafree11, I know I am a good guy but thank you for recognizing that. To be honest, sometimes it gets a little lonely being a good guy. I have allot of great memories from the old days in Nuevo Laredo and I have respect for Bbond who is holding down the fort in Nuevo Laredo. I noticed that there was allot more Mexican immigration presence in the Nuevo Laredo area, they actually came down a little hard on me this time around. I noticed that there is strong police presence at the checkpoints on the way to Monterrey. I wonder if the police presence has gotten any better in Laredo however.

I passed through Nuevo Laredo today around 1 pm on my way to mty and everything is back to normal. I had asked the bus driver what happened on Friday and he said that the road closures only last about 30 minutes and then it clears up after that.

My opinion is that it's better flying solo but maybe in Nuevo Laredo not so much. I remember mongering with a buddy allot in Nuevo Laredo back in its hay day but I also had some great experiences going at it alone.

I recently saw a video news clip where cops arrest a guy who goes around mugging people with a kitchen knife and when they opened his bag on camera all you could see were cell phones and purses so this guy was targeting mostly women do this sucks because I was hoping to walk in Alameda park on a regular basis and now I am having second thoughts about walking more freely downtown.

    1. Hotel Shot up.
    2. Stopped at a road block.
    3. Incident at the bus terminal.
