My plan for when I go to NL is to stay in the US side (Laredo) and cross for a few hours which will give me a chance to get my feet wet. Once I learn how to swim I plan on staying on the Mexican side on future trips.

Do a little homework researching these sites, I just did. Not a single good word except from the people that run those sites. As with any site that offers and upgrade to paid services, you will find tons of fake profiles. Baiting you to purchase the upgrades. Years ago I tried AFF, even bought an upgrade, there were many profiles until I upgraded, then that number dropped drastically. I did meet one girl from there, and had a very brief relationship with her. She was the only one I could ever get to reply. Couple years later she sent me a photo, gained a ton of weight, said she was looking for someone to take care of here and her kids, sorry not me.

You are so right Bbond. I saw plenty of good profiles but they were actually outdated and hardly any of them had logged in recently. However, as society continues to evolve, technology had to evolve along with it and internet social environment will be how we, as people who belong to social groups, will have to use these technologies to find our places in society.
