Can't believe how quite the forum has been lately. Any way, I came across some photos I have from a former fulltime prostitute I met in NL Boystown who I happend to befriend and now see her on "special assignment" from time to time. She now spends most of her time doing mostly escort service. Being that the bar scene and NL boystown clubs are a tough racket for making money these days. Just thought I would share them with you.

The trucker vans leave there at midnight, they take guys from the truck stops to the corner where Danash, Safari, and Martha's are located, the end of the first street. Their business is way down too, they were running three vans, down to just two now and sometimes only one of those runs.

Sounds to me like the authorities have damn near run NLBT into the ground. That doesn't surprise me. Calling guys into the police station, at the entrance, and asking them where they work. Shit like that runs off a lot of business. Where they work, is none of their fuckin business.

There are so few NLBT visitors, and my recommendation is DON'T GO unless you are very sure of yourself and are out by midnight. Damn, the trucker vans leave at midnight, WONDER WHY?
There is more that I can't / won't post, just believe me when I say it is dangerous after midnight, very.
For those who have been out there late. No problems? Good, keep going and see if your luck holds.

Bbond is the unofficial mayor of Nuevo Laredo and since he lives there, can tell you about the on the ground updates. But in general, Nuevo Laredo is a much smaller monger scene than Nuevo Laredo. Although Tijuana has its cartel violence and corrupt cops, it is like Disneyland compared to Nuevo Laredo.
My favorite club in NLBT is Danash. Lots of pretty girls. Cudos to the management on that. But it is small. Like the size maybe 1/3 the size of Adelita or one of the tiny more locals oriented bars in Zona Norte. When I was there last, the prices ranged from $80-120 for 30-45 minutes with another $10 for the room. Unlike Tijuana, these aren't hotel rooms, these are rooms girls live in so there's no fresh sheet or towel. Drinks were $10 chica drinks/$3 for you for basic beers / soda / call liquor.
Papagayo closed down after languishing for years. If there's comparison, it was most like Chicago Club. Awesome in its prime, but now it is empty with subprime girls. Some of the other clubs in NLBT are closed.
The street girl scene has the same pricing model as the alley girls in Tijuana, except you don't go to the hotels, you go to into their little room. They start with a low price (clothes on, one position, no oral) and you pay more for extras. Due to the summer heat, lack of AC and / or shower I stuck to the bars.
The compound has really fallen from its peak back years ago when NLBT would give Zona Norte a run for the money in terms of quantity and quality of girls. But it was more of a ghost town when I left it last. Now, I think Hong Kong has more girls working on a Tuesday afternoon than in all of the compound on a weekend night.
Although Los Zetas are murderous thugs, I was more worried about getting robbed by the police at the entrance gate. They were known to either flat out steal from you when they were patting you down allegedly searching for drugs or weapons. Or they'd plant a knife or small amount of dope on you and tell you they were going to put you in jail. I was never robbed or threatened like that, but if you read this and other forums about it, it happened a lot. The cops had a keen sense for newbies and would take advantage of them. TJPD are boy scouts compared to the NL cops.
I also loved Lipstick club in Reynosa Boystown. It is like a baby Hong Kong complete with the same shower shows. When I was last in RBT, it too was having problems and fewer clubs and girls were there than in the past.
I've wanted to go back to the South Texas Border Towns because of the fond memories of the nights spent there. But I wouldn't spend money to fly there. I probably wouldn't drive there if I lived farther away than San Antonio. I will come back to the area someday, which is why I check in from time to time. I keep hoping to hear that NLBT is rising like a phoenix from its ashes.

I just came back from NL after spending the labor day weekend there. I had a blast. Nothing dangerous from what I can tell. I have been to Tijuana about 500 times so perhaps I know the signs but I think it is a great place to have some cervezas, eat a bunch of. 50 cent tacos and hit some of the little bars near Fiesta Motor Inn. I met some great ex-pats and will be returning real soon.
