Hola RikiMichaels. Just my 2 cents worth of opinion, your buddy should have shut / locked the door on the extorting Pinche Pendeja & Pinche Pendejo. In my opinion, they were bluffing / B. S. ing your buddy with a veiled threat of harm to scare him into giving them money.

Got down to San Antonio Thursday at around 5pm from San Diego. Went to pickup my car rental and they had a Hyundai Sonata reserved for me. Just for the hell of it, I saw a white camaro sitting in the lot and asked if I could trade straight up. The guy told me it would generally cost me 100 a day extra but things were slow so he gave me the camaro for only $9 extra per day. Brand new 2014 camaro to cruise over to NL. Wow! What a great start to my trip!

Spent the night in a hotel in San Antonio and picked up my buddy after he got off work at 12:30pm. We both proceeded to drive down to Nuevo Laredo. Got into Laredo at about 3:00pm and parked in the trucker lot by the bridge and hotel La Posada. The soldier waved us through as we entered Mexico with no luggage check. Noticed there was no military vehicle at the crossing with that grenade launcher mounted. Though to myself that maybe things have actually cooled down. Was a good sign.

Walked over to Emilianos and ordered a beer. Two minutes later, Yandell walks in all dressed up and looking beautiful. This is a girl I met in Papaguayos about 6 years ago. She has a beautiful face and pretty good body but is getting up there in age. About 38 years old. She was a stunner when she worked in Papaguayos. Anyway, we had a couple of drinks and listened to some music. Took a couple of photos, etc. We then decided to get some Chinese food. There is a real good Chinese restaurant about one block south of the square over by the Hotel Meson Del Rey where we always stay. After dinner, she came over to my hotel. We had a good time and then she left to take some food home to her kids. Said she would be back in a couple of hours.

Psy and proceeded to order beer after beer. Consuming each in about 3 minutes. Got tired of this after buying her 5 or 6 and moved on. My friend had told me that he had been seeing a girl from La Montera by the name of Adelina. Well, to make a long story short, after about an hour, I see they are not hanging together and that Javier has touched base with her a few times during the evening. I asked him what was going on and he said he didn't have a clue. We leave the Montera at 2pm. When we walk out, we see her and Javier walking down the steet. My friend is like."What the hell?" This is after spending several nights previously with her in a hotel.

So after witnessing the above, we head over to Jorochos bar, which is the bar everyone goes to once Montera closes. The place was packed. I noticed that one of my previous girlfriends that I hadn't seen for a long time was working behind the bar. A cute little blond named Cecelia. I walked over a said hello to her. She and I had gotten into a couple of arguments previously and never fully hooked up as a result. We went over to a table and had a couple of beers. I hooked up with a cute dish and danced and drank for a couple of hours. Next thing I knew, cute Cecelia comes over and sits to my left with the other girl to my right. They are both holding my hands. I always wanted another chance to hook up with Cecelia and dumped on the opportunity. So off we went to my hotel and spent a fantastic night of rekindling our relationship. I love this girl. She is a mature, no game playing girl that doesn't expect anything. Great evening!

The next morning I spent time consoling my friend after what he experience the previous evening. Next think I know, his phone is ringing and the girl tells him she wants to come over as she feels bad about the previous evening. She comes over and they spend the whole day together. He was real happy, thinking that the relationship is back on. He said he was going to get the lowdown on Javier and her but never asked. I head over to the Montera later that night and the two of them showed up as well. They danced, drank and had a good time. At about 2:00am I head over to Jorochos as Montera closed. As I go over there I see Adelina at the entrance but with no friend of mine. I asked her where he was and she said she didn't know. Anyway I hang out until closing and Cecelia and I head over to my hotel for another fabulous night.

We wake up the next morning and my friend proceeds to tell me that he got a knock on his door at 3:00am and Adelina and Javier were standing outside. She tells him to give her money and nothing will happen to him. He asks himself what the hell is going on. After a great day, she shows up to extort money with her henchman. Javier is on the cell phone not even making eye contact with my friend the whole time. My friend tells her to calm down and give her $100 and they leave.

I couldn't pass this one up with the opportunity to comment on this issue. Just as RikiMichaels3 admitted and as Bbond stated, I have also been a victim, although for the most part allowing myself of this self-deserving inflicted pain of "Freeing a woman from prostitution". My "love story" has gone on and off for about 6 years now. I met this 24 year old cutie at what used to be Tamykos at the time. She went by the professional name of "Azalea", but her real name is Anna Maria. Sweet sexy looking recently divorced at the time cutie from Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon. As the story usually goes she would say that she didn't like working as a prostitute but was doing it for the money to support her kids back home. I've been trudging the NLBT streets since I was 17 years old (I am now 56) and never have I allowed myself anything more than the head that hangs between my legs to get involved with any of these women. But as fate would have it I quickly took a strong liking to her and soon enough found myself with a dollar gulping mistress. And I can admit now, a bad mistress at that. Aside from that and I hate to say it, but aside from loving her the way I did, I felt sorry for her. Her life as a youngster was difficult and marked by strife. At birth she was left by her mother, who at the time also working as a prostitute, with a friend until the age of 10. During the 10 years she spent living in that home with here mother's friend she fell victim to abuse by the man living in the home with the lady supposedly taking care of her. By the age of fourteen she was pregnant with her first child. She married the guy who got her pregnant and lived with him ten years until arriving home from work unexpectedly one night to find him in their home in their bed with another woman who happened to be her best friend having sex. All in all, I can say that I have spent over $20,000 over the course of the six years I have known her. So, gentlemen be wary of serious relationships with these kind of women. Think with your head and not your heart. Easier said than done sometimes but absolutely necessary in this game. Most of the girls that Funman knows seldom show up downtown. The selection varies greatly nightly, except for the hardcore regulars, some nights are good, others not so good. A lot of girls that I don't know have been showing up lately, mainly Friday and Saturday nights. Everything has been fairly quiet, no real problems in the centro area. Only bad new thing is the transitos (traffic cops) are back to work, and some back to their extortion tactics, but you only have to worry about them if you are driving.

In case you are not aware, Safari is next door to where Danash was, used to be Western Club, is was remodeled and no longer a tranny bar.

Western club, haha. I remembered it too well. I one time stepped in there by mistake thinking it was Danash after a few rounds of drinks. I actually talked to a decent-looking tranny who pretended she was a lady. I was drunk but still had some doubts about it. She went ahead and showed me her post-op pu*sy. I still didn't buy it and she got pissed off and left. Later some amigos told me that the western club was a stomping ground for some Mexican army soldiers. Not sure if it was true.

NLBT really has changed over the last few years, probably for the worst. I broke my Mexican mongering cherry in NLBT back in the day, exactly 10 years ago. With Papa, Danash gone, and bars closing at midnight, I probably will never go NLBT again. I'm utterly surprised that Shamrock has this much staying power. It used to be a 3-tier place back in the day.

In my opinion, things started changing for the worse in Nuevo when the following occurred:

1) Closing of Papaguayos.

2) Closing of La Mina (one of my all time favorite bars in Mexico or anywhere for that matter)

3) The closing of Danash.

You nailed it, she is the one that had the kid. Tried to nail gringo for child support, so they had tests done, wasn't his kid, surprise huh. She is now back in the bars working, supporting 2 kids and kid's dad.


Riki and Lamar, I see Fabiola once in a while as I drive by her house, and once in a great while I see her in the Montera.
