I wonder where all the chicas will be going since Montera's is closed for now. Arizona has moved and the last time I was there it was so crowded, almost standing room only. Also wondering if there are ST hotels near the new Arizona location.

The reason the Montera was closed is it is illegal for bars to pay girls fichas, except in boystown. Paying fichas is allowing the girls to "work" in the bar, which is illegal, except boys town. Don't know how they will handle that situation once they reopen. Girls now hang in Emilianos and Bar 66, which is just around corner from Emilianos, leaving both bars rather crowded. Neither bar serves ficha drinks. Short time hotels close to the new Arizona? No.

Bar Montera was shut down last night after the 2nd of 2 inspections only hours apart, closed until further notice.

On another note, Bar Arizona has relocated, now at 2008 Gonzales, used to be Caesar's Palace. Which was a gay bar.

I know several truckers that visit there and they say yes, but personally I don't know. They say Marthas and Safari early, then later, some of the girls go to a bar that is next door to where Danash was. As usual though, transportation is an issue, taxis don't hang there like they used to, so getting back from there, unless you drive, can be a problem. The last time I drove out there, and it's been a while, the streets were in very poor condition, you definitely would not want to drive out there if it is, or has been, raining.

It's OK. Martha and Safari always have girls between 3pm ish between the 2am. Open 7pm to 1am. Girls far outnumber the men. Personally there only 1 or 2 that I would even consider on any given night. I have never had a problem nabbing one those up as the other drivers seem happy with the other girls. It will cost more obviously but if you're looking to spend less. Just go right to the room and don't buy any drinks whatsoever. Otherwise you spend 5x more on drinks then actually in the room. There are more bars there I see them open. I been always told not to go. That gringos are not welcomed there you may get robbed. But personally I think they full of shit and just don't want to lose out on the business. But I never tried going they do look a little scary LOL and since I don't speak Spanish and those streets are dark and the roads are rough. But the roads are ok enuf even if it's wet a decent car would be ok. Just park on one the main roads and go slow and drive around the big pot holes. But I'm on the other fence and want to try out down town.

I wouldn't worry about slim pickings on a Friday or Saturday night. Pickings will be of choice. I've been bar hopping too many times during the week when slim pickings force the "go home alone" option. Unless you're looking for Las Vegas style glits & glamor every time your head turns I'm thinking you'll find your pleasure.

Most Friday and Saturday nights have at least something worth doing. Sometimes, like most times, guys outnumber girls 10 to 1. Some guys will buy beer for 3 or 4 girls just to tie them up, makes him feel important I guess. I see no other reason. So, if you see something that interests you, grab her, and sit her down, buy her a couple beers and see where it goes. Or Just ask if she goes to hotel and if so, take her there. Girls that hang outside, or along the wall by the door inside the Montera, are waiting for someone to do just that.

I neglected to add to the last post, Blanca is one of the cutest girls that you will even see naked, an absolute doll, but she is one of the worst I have ever experienced in the room, I would not go with her if she offered it for 100 pesos. Yes, that bad, she has odor issues. But to each his own, that guy likes her. But she fucks him because she likes him. Whatever man. Whatever.

Odor issues is something I won't be able to get passed no matter how minor. Even bad breath is a turnoff for me. Heading out again this evening after dinner. Just hanging out for the most part but if luck strikes so be it.

Funny, I was in there a little later, and played pool with the guys with that girl. She is Blanca, maybe you have read about her in earlier posts, I don't know. Anyway she no longer works bars, she depends on the one gringo, that she was with, to supply her with money. She also has a day job. That's her story, and it is not 100% correct, but then who's counting. Girls lie to me, knowing full well I know their friends, and their friends friends. It is OK, just part of the games they play trying to survive the bullshit that is Nuevo Laredo.

Just to add on the "spinner" subject. I've had the opportunity to engage with a few but it's NOT like early 20's and no babies. More like mid 20's & up thin with ok body & some baby scars. Just saying; not judging. Heavy subjects far out numbers feathers if you know what I mean.

That works for me. As long as someone drinking the damn drinks. Better than pouring them out. 40 pesos a drink it's not a big deal I guess either way. That's like $2. Sounds like fun. I'm happy the girls will be happy and the guy drinking for free is happy LOL. And the bar is happy. I'll be back in NL in a week or 2.

I see it every time I am in the Montera, not once in awhile, every single time. Sometimes you have to know what you are looking at, but most of it is very open, right in front of the buyer's eyes. However, he is not looking nor suspecting it, so she gets away cleanly. Look at the buckets when the fools buy 6 fichas at a time, an inverted bottle is usually, but not always, a sign it was dumped. Some girls do drink them, you will see them later, shit faced drunk. One night I helped a girl count her ficha chips prior to her cashing them in, she had 42. No way she drank all 42, but she did consume enough that she was too drunk to count chips.
