That's odd, one post acclaiming how much fun it was, then the next saying.

I went 2 nights. First night it wasn't like that. Drink was $12 still but they where doubles and weren't being consumed in a matter of minutes. Ms Martha stopped in from the other bar and remembered me from last month. Bought a cake for me and it was fun. Next night ms Martha wasn't there and drinks where singles I'm pretty sure they 1/2 shots at that. And where being consumed extremely fast. It was a complete insult to my generosity and they lost a loyal customer. That just bad business.

I guess you kinda figured by now, those bars are for suckers that have no idea how to get around in Nuevo Laredo. US $12 for a drink? 240 pesos at today's exchange, damn right they pressure you into buying, they are making killing off of that. The girls get at least 1/2 of that maybe more. There's plenty of fun and women to be had in Nuevo Laredo, but you pay a premium in NLBT. You said they remembered you, therefore knew you were loose with cash and took advantage of that, welcome to Mexico.

That can be risky too. I've had girls run out the door with my money, pull guns on me, and refuse to have sex.

They charge to much $ for drinks now. $12 for a drink. Way way to much. Push push push to sell drink. Girls will drink non stop. Can't even buy the girl with no man a drink with out being charged $12 for being kind. Not fun when you want to drink and buy drinks for girls.

I posted before as Roberto12 had to make new account. But anyways. They remembered me from last time. And remembered it was my birthday. The owner bought a cake and it was really nice if them. Everyone got cake. I had really only one complaint. Girl knocked over my shot and they made me purchase a new one instead of just replacing it. For as much $ as I spend there that should of never been a issue to replace a spilt drink. I stopped tipping the waiter over it probably cost him a lot more in loss tips then to replace the $4 shot of whiskey.

Are there any hotels in Nuevo Laredo that are close to Boys Town? How far would they be from the border? I would be planning a three day visit. What kind of prices do they charge?

Colon Plaza has a banner outside offering rooms for 2 for $945, about US $47.25. Reasonably close to NLBT.

Yes, I have known several people that have stayed there. Their specials are usually priced much better than the internet website has them listed. Walk ins are OK if they have rooms, only a reservation can assure that. Paying cash? I don't know, but would assume they would. City Express is also am option, close to the Plaza Colon.

Great to hear. What bar (s) did you hang out at? It's been years since I've been there but since the oil boom is on I'm wanting to go back.

The trucker vans take you to Safari, which is now next door to Marthas. Those two bars, and what was, or still is, Señioritas are about the only things happening now days. Boys town is but a shell of what it used to be.

The problem I had with these two bars it was too commercial. . . I couldn't find a girl to give me GFE (I. E. Open-mouth kissing).

There is no doubt Nuevo Laredo is not Tijuana, not even close, but travel restrictions allow some people to visit here and wish they were there, just a fact of life.

Just went for first time. It was a blast. Got a ride from drunken Indian at the truck stop. One best nights I had in a long time. Once I was able to relax from being nervous about going to mexico. The girls where amazingly pleasant to talk to and look at. Not greedy or stuck up. I treated them good and they treated me like a king. I came with a lot of cash and left with none. But that OK because everything was so in expensive that 700 USD was like spending 5000 in the states. Anyone could easily go with a lot less and have just as much of good time as I had. But 2-3 girls at a time is my cup of tequila. 1/2 went to drinks ya we was tearing it up. By end of the night I did run out of cash. And guess what happens? Last hour they paid for all the drinks and I was still treated like a king. I was probably one of there best customers they have had in a while. I'm going back as I can't get that kind of respect and royal treatment in the states for anything under 5000. If anyone knows of better place in NL? I probably would be better off just getting a nice room and picking up a couple girls. But for now boys town got my business.
