Authorities have confirmed that a missing Dallas area man crossed into Mexico at an international bridge in Brownsville.

Family members told Action 4 News that they lost contact with 28-year-old Noel Shankle on Friday, February 3rd.

The Carrollton, Texas man flew to Harlingen and was reportedly headed to get dental work done in Matamoros but never returned.

Shankle rented a car at Harlingen's Valley International Airport but neither he nor the car have surfaced.

Harlingen police told Action 4 News that they have confirmed that Shankle crossed into Mexico.

Investigators said Shankle crossed into Mexico at Brownsville's Veterans International Bridge at 11:59 pm on Friday, February 3rd.

It's not clear where Shankle was headed at that hour.

A lot of questions need to be answered here. You would be surprised what people are into.

Well, I have officially moved from the area. It was a sad day. However, I am looking forward to new adventures and Hookahs. I did visit my favorite spot in Matamoros and got ripped off. This has never happened to me before. When I say ripped off, I got shorted on time. I paid for 90 minutes and I only got 60 minutes of service. The girl was a 9 out 10. She was from Maxim. I usually have good luck from this agency. I think the son or nephew was running the show that night and they were on drugs. He had 2 or 3 other young guys with him and they probably had guns. Oh well, It is still cheaper than Costa Rica, Thailand, and the United States! I do not think anybody can rival Nicaragua prices or the Philippines. However, it cost a grip to get there. I hope to move back to South Texas. I really enjoyed the area and the women. My career has taken front seat at this time.

The dj keeps the action rolling with the strippers, some customer dancing with the chicas and contest amongst the patrons. They stripped two guys on stage and had one of the dancers pretty much just give them handjobs on stage. There were about 20 girls dancing, but probably only 3 or 4 girls that were a 7 or 8 and thats probably a little genereous. Bucket of mini beers runs 60 or 70 pesos and chica drinks about 70 pesos. CBJ 520 pesos from a girl with a cute face and 34D boobs. They were the biggest ones I could find in the place. All was quiet in Matamoros between 1:30 am and 5:30 am. New club in Matamoros is also called Apocalipsis, I was told it's close to Eclipse. I will have to check it out in a week or 2. I really want to check out the scene in Nuevo Laredo. I have a 3 day weekend coming up in 2 weeks and I hope Bbond will show me around.

I have been to the zona in Nuevo Progresso twice about 3 or 4 years ago. It is about 1 or 2 miles from the end of town and it was out in the middle of nowhere. It was like a ghost town with 1 active large building. I went early the 1st time and there were very few / no customers. I took a girl to the room and was grossed out by the room and the very large cockroaches crawling on the wall. It was very scary out there cause its not right off the main road, but you go down a bad dirt road for about 1/4-1/2 mile. It was very dark and looked like a good place to dump a body. The second time I went on a Saturday and it was packed with customers dancing with the girls. It was a very different atmosphere.

I have not asked if it's still open, maybe that's where all the action is. It is to far for locals to walk to.

Guys, some members here might be curious if there is a row of cantinas in Matamoros, where you can buy snatch for about $25 or $30. Please post info, if you find such a row of cantinas in Matamoros.
