Started out in Nuevo Progresso on Saturday night. Was going to go to the 2 clubs on the main street. One is called Apocalipsis and the other was called El Senorial #2. El Senorial #2 is no longer open, unfortunate because I liked it the last time I was there. I arrived about 10:30 and there were 5 girls dancing at Apocalisis. It was very hot inside, like the ac had been off all day and they had barley turned it on. Four of the girls were 7s the other one was an 8 or 9, but she was sitting with one of her regulars I think. There were very few patrons in the place. It was me the other guy with the girl and 1 other person who was probaly with his girlfriend. I had 2 full size Coronas at 25 pesos each. Chica drinks are 10 bucks which I did not buy.

I decided to make a run for Matamoros, figured I woud arrive about 1am. Had my taxi pick me up and take me to La Media. I had asked how everything was in town. I had heard there were shootings and road closures earlier in the day. There are always a lot of people at the club, probably locals. The dj keeps the action rolling with the strippers, some customer dancing with the chicas and contest amongst the patrons. They stripped two guys on stage and had one of the dancers pretty much just give them handjobs on stage. There were about 20 girls dancing, but probably only 3 or 4 girls that were a 7 or 8 and thats probably a little genereous. Bucket of mini beers runs 60 or 70 pesos and chica drinks about 70 pesos. CBJ 520 pesos from a girl with a cute face and 34D boobs. They were the biggest ones I could find in the place. All was quiet in Matamoros between 1:30 am and 5:30 am. New club in Matamoros is also called Apocalipsis, I was told it's close to Eclipse. I will have to check it out in a week or 2. I really want to check out the scene in Nuevo Laredo. I have a 3 day weekend coming up in 2 weeks and I hope Bbond will show me around.

Motel Parais. If you go over the Veterans Bridge in to Matamoros from Brownsville you will drive up to the 2nd light (Ave. Lauro Villar) , (just passed Sorianas). On the right you will see Fontana Inn. You will turn left on this street, which is Ave. Lauro Villar. You will go down about 0.9 miles eastbound on Ave. Lauro Villar, and Motel Parais will be on the left side. The chicas at Maxim are 700 pesos.

I will be going sometime this week. I will get street names.

I went to Matamoros on Saturday night. I took a friend so he can see first hand. I drove in to the hotel paid my 220 pesos and drove right in to my room. My friend rented the room right across from me. I called Maxim (Girl Agency). They had 7 girls available. So they all came over. My friend was tripping. I picked a petit bomb shell with dark skin. My friend is 6ft 4, so he picked this tall lite complected girl with hazel eyes. She was at least 5ft9 or 10. I bought over a case Miller Lite. We all were drinking and then, of course, my friend left with his chic. The girls were all between 7. 10.

I like this route because of the exposure to the public. The bar seen is cool. However, the exposure to the public is greater. I am not feeling that. I need some sense of control of my surroundings. LIke Mitaban says, more bang for your buck. Less exposure to the local environment, prettier girls, and personable service = great time.

Went to Envidia and Media Luna in Matamoros 2 weeks ago. Started at Envidia, there was a fair selection of girls. They really hustle the girl drinks. I think they run about 8 pesos. I really liked 1 girl, but decided not to go upstairs since I had a question mark on how she would be upstairs, and I new if my regular at Media wasn't there I could go to TKch and would be very satisfied. Not a good selection at Media, but its usually packed with locals, and theres always somthing going on onstage with the girls or customers. Ended the night at Media very satisfied. No problems in Matamoros at all. I try to use taxis that I know just for extra safety.

Decided I didn't give a f. How the girl would treat me at Envidia, I just wanted her, so I went back Saturday. Bought her at least 4 drinks (which is still less than 2 lap dances on the US side) , went upstairs. I will be going back in 2 weeks, hopefully she'll be there. Forgot to get a number. Also went to Club Eclipse which always has the best selection of girls. I can't say I feel 100% safe in Mexico but it was very quiet. I crossed back into the US about 3 am and the streets in Matamoros were less busy than usual.

The agencys do give you more bang for the buck, but I like to drink at the clubs and see the selection of girls. There is no red zone in Matamoros that I am aware of. I had planned on going to Reynosa but heard about grenades being throne so I changed my mind. (Four more months til I go back to Thailand)

Posted on 10/9/03. I had fun in Matamoros, but it was about 5 years ago. I don't think they have a Boy's Town set up, more like just several bars in a row.

This was posted in 03, but I'm wondering if this,"several bars in a row," still exist for finding P4P action, and where it is?

Went to Circo Friday night, not good quality. Only several girls were 7 or maybe 8. Stayed for 1 drink and left for Envidia. My friend Lulu at Circo was busy. She has a nice rack, but has definitely put on weight since I first met her about 3 years ago at Coco Bombo in Progresso (has since closed down). Slightly better atmosphere at Envidia, but not to many girls.

Thanks. Below is map and photo of Circo Club. It's on the SW corner of Sendero Nacional and Michoacan. Sounds to me like business has been a little slow in these clubs. Slow business results in average looking babes. If it's booming, you can expect hot looking babes. All the risk of going to Mex, is hurting business.

Posted on 6/5/02. This is LEGALIZED PROSTITUTION. The way it should be controlled everywhere. Matamoros used to have a hugh boys town, but it was closed down. Laredo, Progresso, Reynosa still do. Many towns in the Mexican interior also have them as well. It is a walled off part of town, full of * houses, titty joints, bars, etc, where police monitor, legal prostitution. Typically there is only one single gated entrance / exit, that is monitored by the local police. They will even charge you $3 or so, just to go in, which is used to pay for the police services. I don't know what gringo came up with the name boystown, but Mexicans call them,"tolerence zones", (zona de tolorancia). It is a civilized approach to protitution. Prostitution has been legalized within the confines of these walls. Many of these towns that have boystowns, have few if any street walkers. Ever since Matamoros closed there's. 10th steet and many other neighborhoods of town are plagued by steet walkers, (many of whom are disease riden, and / or dangerous criminals). Not coincidentally. 10th street is the highest crime area of Matamoros. And that is the purpose of a zone. Keep it all confined to a single place, control it, and do not tolerate street walkers. Most tolorence zones in Mexico also monitor closely the health of the ladies who work there, with weekly physicals required. Matamoros still requires that of all titty dancers. Ie a second social benefit.

Mexico is an old world country in many ways. Certainly more Europeon than the USA. And this is one of the benifits. Remember the scandle from the legitimate press when Nevada legalized prostitution in the USA. It's always been legal in Mexico. The USA prefers to ignore the world's oldest profession, and allow it, titty joints, and porno shops to invade any neighborhood. In that sense, Mexicans do a better job of protecting their children, and their neighborhoods.

Matamoros use to have a red zone/boystown.

Below is map and photo of 160 Men's Club at Bustamante and 10th street. This club is on 10th street, and 10th street is a little dicey, so be careful if you go to this club. SW's and drug addicts on 10th street. Watch your ass in this area.

I just wanted to note that this 160 Men's Club is just 7 blocks away from that blue massage parlor, shown in a few post below, which is at 12th street, and Guerrero. And people are saying that this 10th street area may not be safe at night. Be careful in this 10th street area. Sounds to me like cholos (hoodlums, thugs) and drug addicts may hang out in this area.

Posted on 6/15/11, in the Reynosa section. Okay, so these other bars on Quintana Roo, the same street Club Tizoc / Club 65 is on, have prostitutes working out of them also.

Okay, there is a street in Reynosa, called Quintana Roo, which has lots of bars with hookers working out of them. It's called Quintana Roo. I'm wondering if there is a street, or section in Matamoros which is similar???? The fancy bars like Paradise, Eclipse, Circo, Envidia, Media Luna, Imperio, Tkch, etc., are nice for high dollar action, but where can you go in Matamoros to get this cheaper action??? I'm sure there is an area like this in Matamoros, I'm just wondering where, if anybody here knows????
