Check out the archives. Most of the info there is still valid and good.

The funky club nobody can remember the name of is Cobacha. Its located right next door to Paradise Men's Club. One half block down is the Imperio Club, which is also writen about.

Helpful to know that all three of these clubs are located adjacent to each other, on the Beach Highway, (Lauro Villar Blvd). It's a hundred peso cab ride from the main bridge, and well worth the trip. You got three clubs to choose from. For the travellor, there is no reason to venture anywhere else. Between the three clubs, were talking probably 70 to 100 girls. If you can't find it in this mini zona, then your not going to find it anywhere. Top of the line is Paradise, (one of the best clubs anywhere), Imperio is low end, and the Cobacha is for K Mart shoppers.

Only english speaking dancers or waiters I know in Matamoros are in Paradise. Ask for Nelle, among others. Or Victor the waiter, or Steve in management.

In8 Here is a brief description of clubs alphabetically
Explora Rather small however new and nice atmosphere. Girls 12-15 different girls working nightly, mostly hotties 20 pesos cover 100 pesos privates Receives 4****
Imperial Small club nice girls about 12 of them. The night I went recently was 70 pesos I do not know if this was a special price, private area ok however Explora had a nice feature shower stall doors making it really private Recieves 3***
Paradise Large club largest on the list, generally 18-20 girls 5 $ cover with a free tequila shot. Private dances are 14 $ or 120 in pesos Good for large groups Recieves 4****
There are a couple of others that will recieve honorable mention and they are the Eclipse and La Covacha however the Muckhead has not ventured into either of these recently. I hope this helps.

Can anyone list the clubs in Matamoros with a description following the name of the club, and what I can expect? For example...

Club red zone - girls between 6-9; lap dance 80 pesos; back rooms for FS; mostly gringos as customers; club is on avenida sexta

Flores Fresca - mostly locals hang out here but gringos will do fine; girls between 4-8 with one 10 (Laura); must buy girls drinks; girls allow full contact when lap dance; calle 17th.

I am flying into Brownsville tomorrow, and whatever info you could provide will be helpful.

Paradise Men's Club has a private party room. Make sure you go by that place. You will like the ones there...guaranteed...

Thats the way to go having a private party I have been to a few myself they are so much more fun. I'll do some checking and see what the arrangements are nessessary. I should know by Monday. Will you be requiring special liquor, how many girls etc. ?

With that many your gonna need some help. Find a tour guide with a fuckin bus. haha. For a group that large, you can easily shut down most any club in Matamoros, and have the girls to yourselves......Just negotiate a deal with them for a sunday, monday, tuesday, or wednesday night. Alot of Brownsville guys do this for their bachelor parties.

If anyone knows of a place or a spot available for renting could you please post it. If it turns out to be a good lead this is something that we will be doing about two or three times a month.Please do not post any clubs or bars because what we want is private & exclusive. Where and what distance is the closest beach to Matamoros? Is it crowded? Is it a good place to look for non profesionals who might be interested in dating? White sand beach?

You got my two favorite motels mixed up together. The one close to Paradise is called Paraiso. It's a no tell motel. No windows. Just a place to take your honey and hide out. No pool. But suite 15 is the one with the hugh jacuz, (500 pesos for 5 hours), (around $57 dollars). The cheap rooms are 200 pesos for four hours, (about 22 dollars). Its a great place for a quickie, or to take a nap to sober up. The TV has two channels of awesome hard core porno. But if your gonna stay 8 to 24 hours however, and aim to land an all nighter with a sweetie, then your better off in the normal motel, which follows.

The other is the old Holiday Inn, now called Residencial. It is close to the Gateway bridge, and has the beautiful pool and large garden. And no they don't hastle you about guests. Just register for two. Current rate is 590 pesos a nite. (around $65 plus tax). But your taxi bill to the action at Paradise will be $10 each way.

The beach isn't that great. But its close, and it is the ocean. And the girls love to get invited to go there. It's real honkytonk, but can be great fun. But for this you will need a car. It's about 40 minutes from Paradise, at the end of the beach highway.
For chica's there however, you need to go on a saturday or sunday, when there is a decent crowd.

Best place to try your luck with non working girls, is Chapparal Disco on Obregon, close to the Residencial hotel. Obregon is the main entry from Brownsville and is lined with restaurants/discos, that on weekends are full of american teens getting wasted.

REMEMBER, AVOID DRIVING AT NIGHT ANYWHERE IN MEXICO, IF YOU'VE BEEN DRINKING. Not good. Taxi's are cheap.

The joint next door to Paradise, with a name that no gringo seems to be able to remember, is called La Cobacha. The archives are full of reports from guys who can't seem to remember that name.

Its a fun and inexpensive club, and is worth checking out.
