My visit to Cebu was a waste of money, energy and time and I don't advise any mongers to go there.

Your report seems to be full of generalizations. The city is the second largest in RP but is not a mongers destination since many years ago.

Being there three weeks should have given you plenty of time to get on various dating websites and drum up willing participants!

You can easily get a room in Horizon 101 or similar for 1000 php a night, a bargain to say the least!

This was one of the worst travelling / mongering experience I ever had in the Philippines.

I stayed in Cebu for 3 weeks thinking that I would have fun there. The taxi took around 2 hours to reach my.

You can meet some girls at night mostly lady boys but most hotels will not allow unvaccinated guests.

I met this girl "Jade" on FilipinoCupid (profile ID 19323629). She claimed to be a student in Mandaue and lives in Lapu Lapu. She said she works in Jollibee's. Foolish me, did not check her ID and hotel was easygoing. Stayed with me whole day, I took her to lunch. After lunch, I fell asleep while she was enjoying her free WiFi. When I woke up, she was gone, taking all the cash from my pocket. Fortunately, I had no more than 8-10 k pesos, the rest was safely kept in security-box. I would have given her 2. 5-3 k any way for her hard work. My phone, computer and other valuables-she did not touch. I would say she is an opportunistic petty thief. Can anyone provide details on current mongering situation in Cebu City? Have been many times to Angeles, Manila and Subic but its my first time to Cebu.

I heard that at present its sort of dry in terms of gogo bars and take-outs from pubs / sports bars from the different forums that I have read.

Apart from go-gos, am looking to spend time in bars like LA Cafe (Manila) and Clubs such as Hammer & former High Society (Angeles) with good FL action. Any recommendations?

Will appreciate on-ground intel on the right girl-friendly standard decent hotel in the thick of action. Plus (if possible) contacts of FLs who could give company to a 50 year "young" dude for bar-hopping, booze and "good sessions"..
