Hmmm. When you go back insist on 10 bucks. That is still the going rate especially during the week nights. Ok, 10 bucks 20 minutes all positions and all clothes off. Just deal next time! Ha.

Not a lot of violence close to the border in which BT is located. I see a lot of Soldiers, Transitos, and Regular Cops. And, I have seen in another posting. They have cops walking on feet in BT.

Mostly 7s but a few 8s and couple of nines. These pictures may have cost me my nokia n82 (I can't believe the water splashed that far). Some functions are starting to come back.
Hit me up next time you go. Have you been to Boy's Town lately?

    Update

Two days ago, I went back to Reynosa, after five long months.

Everybody, including the cab drivers, pharmacists, shop owners, confirm a huge decline in business over the last several months.

Many of the providers at REX BT, some of them who worked here for years, have left.

The ones who stayed, are struggling to stay in business, with the few visitors, mostly locals.

Some of them are even willing to go to hotels close to the international bridge.

They now come earlier (around noon) and leave earlier too.

Most of the ones I talked to are not sure how long they will stay.

Although REX BT itself is relatively safe now, late last year, there was a clash at the 7-11 store, next door. About ten people were killed.

    How Confusing

When I last read, the situation by Hrromero was go and have a great time, now Laredo is showing evidence of more violence. This is toooo damn hard, I'm just gonna go back to Colombia and say fuck it to Mexico for a while.
    Maybe, LOL

    Crime

Those incidents (and most of the others) occurred in neighborhoods far from boystown, if you look at the map. Those neighborhoods are on the outskirts of the city. The narcos generally do not go to the boystown area because it is near the bridge where the majority of the soldiers are stationed. If they go into boystown (narcos) then they would be trapped. I am from Miami, just because a murder takes place in one part of the city like Overtown that does not mean it is unsafe to go to South Beach. Let's not let these guys ruin our good times. Boystown is just starting to build up again let's keep it up.

Possible shootout reported on Reynosa's west side

Possible shootout reported on Reynosa's west side
    June 21, 2010
    The Monitor

REYNOSA — City officials reported a possible shootout on the southwest side of Reynosa early Monday morning.

Reynosa city officials sent an online bulletin of the "situation of risk" in the Vista Hermosa neighborhood at Boulevard Hidalgo, one of the city's main thoroughfares, about 7:15 a.m. Monday.

Officials said the incident concluded shortly before 9 a.m. Monday, but traffic continues to move slowly in the area.

The possible shootout stretched west past the interchange with Libramiento Monterrey to the Granjas Económicas del Norte neighborhood, officials said.

"I am scared, can you take my children to school?" Reynosa resident Karina Carrasco wrote in Spanish on the city's Facebook page.

Twitter users reported seeing armed soldiers near the Villa Florida neighborhood, hearing sirens and gunshots.

No further details were available about the incident. People are advised to drive with caution the area.

The possible shootout is the latest in a string of recent incidents reported in Reynosa.

Blockades possibly set up by drug cartel members were reported along the highway between Reynosa and Matamoros about 9 p.m. Sunday. Those checkpoints were later dissolved, city officials said.

Another "situation of risk" was also reported about 8 p.m. Sunday in the Las Cumbres neighborhood in west Reynosa. Blockades were also reported near the city's airport on the east side of Reynosa.

On Thursday, the Mexican defense ministry reported nine gunmen and three army soldiers killed in gun battles in Miguel Alemán, across the border from Roma, and Reynosa.

2 killed in Miguel Alemán, Reynosa gun battles

12 killed in Miguel Alemán, Reynosa gun battles

MIGUEL ALEMÁN, Tamps. — Nine suspected cartel gunmen and three Mexican army soldiers died during separate gun battles Thursday in Tamaulipas border cities.

The Mexican Defense Ministry said eight attackers were killed during a shootout with army soldiers on a ranch near Miguel Alemán on Thursday. Three soldiers were killed during the gunfight.

Soldiers said suspected cartel gunmen attacked them during a patrol near the Pato de Oro ranch south of the city, near the Marte R. Gomez dam. Soldiers fired back at the assailants.

No further details about that attack were immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.

In Reynosa, soldiers said they were attacked Thursday night during a patrol along Paulina Street in the city’s Los Fresnos neighborhood.

One gunman was killed during the shootout with army soldiers.

The military seized two shotguns, a handgun, ammunition, boots and an armored vehicle after the attack.

The deadly battles are the latest in an ongoing struggle among the Mexican military and the two dominant drug cartels in northeast Mexico — former allies the Gulf Cartel and the Zetas. Hundreds of suspected cartel members, military personnel and innocent bystanders have been killed since February, when the two cartels dissolved their alliance and began fighting each other for control over prized drug smuggling routes through northeast Mexico into South Texas.

Government officials estimate more than 22,000 people have been killed in drug violence across Mexico since late 2006.

    Good Times

I am happy to report that all is good in Reynosa BT. Went Wed with a buddy and everything was great. Reynosa BT has opend 4 new clubs. I went to Striptease, where the old Lipstick was, and had a great time. The girls are just as hot as the one's in Lipstick, but without the attitude and charge a lower price. I paid 1250 pesos with a hotty including the room about $100. The girl was a 9. My friend paid $1000 pesos for his girl she was about an 8. The place is really nice and so are the rooms. It reminds me of how the Pink Pussy Cat used to be modest, but clean. Some people may think that 1250 is to high, but compared to Lipstick it is reasonable for a stripclub in Reynosa. Felt very safe and I recommend everyone to go. Tijuana seems to be the least expensive of the border cities, in terms of mongering, based on what I have read. Most times, the border is going to be more expensive than the interior for mongering or anything else.

Bbond, Laredo, do you still thinks it's not good to go right now?

How about a young gringo going during the day, solo? Anybody?

Thanks Mitaban for the flight info. I found some good one, but I'm still too poor for that. That sucks about customs. How's TSA? Do you have to go through the X-ray scanners or whatever?
