Zona Rosa is pretty much a hotbed of various clubs. As for reviews of them I don't have any particular experience. I remember researching before my recent trip and the general consensus is that it's easy to get really ripped off in the clubs especially if you don't have a good understanding of Spanish as prices are rarely (if ever) given for drinks until you decide to leave. In addition, girls can vary from HOT to someone just picked up off the street. For me, I decided to stay away from them as I was travelling alone and it was not nearby my hotel for the evening. Honestly, there are plenty of girls on the street that are more than willing to please that you can have for less than the cost of 1 beer at a club. Even the high class escorts that are extremely pretty and come to your hotel will probably give you MUCH better service than you would get at a club. But still everyone is different. Envidia Club in San Angel (a suburb of Mexico City) seems to have good reviews as does The Men's Club which is in Zona Rosa. Just remember though the places are geared towards you buying drinks for yourself and the ladies and the drinks are not cheap.

I would recommend it. As a first time monger and 2nd time visitor to DF I would recommend Mexico City. There is also Tijuana which seems to have a lot of very beautiful girls there but does not seem like the type of place where you could do much more than just mongering. For my trip I did some touristy things (Teohituacan, walking around, trying out the different foods and restaurants, just soaking in the atmosphere) plus gaining some confidence walking around the Mercado and enjoying the eye candy while picking a girl up when I saw something I liked. So if that's your type of trip then Mexico City would be good. I didn't feel confident doing the whole Sullivan Street thing as I'm not really quite sure how to find or ask a taxi driver to just pick me up, take me there and wait once I find a girl. Oh well, maybe next time. I would recommend picking up a light small guidebook. I like the Moon Travel ones as it also has a map when needed and is fairly light. It will also give some guidance on getting to / from airport, etc.

But you can expect to pay 150-250 pesos. Not very much. You pay inside the terminal and then take your ticket outside where the appropriate agency will take you to a waiting taxi. Make sure when booking you ask for a smaller vehicle otherwise they will tend to put you in a larger van or SUV / Chevy Tahoe type vehicle if you do not specify. That may cost you more along the lines of 200-350 pesos.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents for a recent visit to this area back in November. I'd say the mix of attractive / not attractive girls is about 40/60, but I'm sure for some other mongers they may find my non attractive ones good looking. I would start my walk at Metro Pino Suarez (walked there from the Centro Historico area) and go East towards Plaza San Pedro. Where the road starts to turn is where the girls would start. I found the more attractive girls to be on Calle San Pablo from Plaza San Pedro all the way up to Eje 1 Oto. Another thing I noticed is that all the girls are located on the sidewalk of the left side of the street (if you're walking from Metro Pino Suarez). I walked the other side of the street back from El Mercado and only noticed 3-4 girls whereas the left side of the street there were 4-6 every block. Saw some young girls hanging out Topacio and Roldan. One caught my eye in particular. About 5', petite and thin build 18-19 yrs old.
