You probably should've chosen Tijuana. Mexico City, while nice overall and a lot more convenient for a digi nomad, has a lame nightlife scene. Even the gay area seems kind of tame. There's no Zona Norte here (that I know of) and the strip clubs from what I've read are more like Western strip clubs (bleh), therefore a waste of money. The escort and SW scene are definitely here though.

Yes, CDMX is great, but definitely not Tijuana, New York or Vegas. The party dies down very early there. Restaurant are the place to go, but it is very hard to pick up girls in that environment.

A couple guys want to visit CDMX. We need a place, preferably like Tijuana's Hong Kong, to gather to eat and drink between sight seeing tours and popping girls.

CDMX may be cracking down on brothels and strip clubs, but are there hostess bars near Zocalos where guys can hang out, drink, bullshit with a few hotties, may be a dinner show? Should not be illegal if the girls only dance and show some of their long legs and hot crotches? Paris has a lot of those venues, big and small with very good dinner shows, strip clubs like La Moulin Rouge in Pigalle.

PV has a dinner show near downtown, with can can dancers just like the French, which was very good, a good way to introduce tourists to local food and culture.

Count me in. I will be CDMX every other weekend Starting Jan 20th. At the airport in CDMX heading back to Texas now, great trip. I love CDMX, I hang out in Polanco, but I am open to suggestions.

Honestly, I am probably done with Tijuana. I can cut the the middleman out and go directly to MTY or CDMX. I get total GFE and no clock watching. It is getting expensive to travel to San Diego from.

Texas. Very cheap for me to travel to either MTY or CDMX from San Antonio.

We think the same. My homes will be CDMX and Monterrey. Tijuana when I want good strips clubs. I love CDMX too.

The area of action is basically the back block that Hotel Monaco is on. It's not nearly as deep as La Merced, but it is convenient and safe. The chef / water at the restaurant had confirmed that the neighborhood is safe.

I frequent Monterrey and CDMX. I have to agree with them. CDMX is better.

The City is amazing. Endless opportunities to meet great women. Hi he food and service has been exceeded my expectations. The city is definitely more expensive then Tijuana or MTY, but you can get by cheap here. Very easy to rent apartments. The energy in the city makes me feel alive.

The girls from SA all want to go out, very common for them to stay multiple hours or want to spend the night. Just a great experience on my way out the door to meet a beautiful girl.

CDMX is a lot more cosmopolitan, nicer, cleaner and safer than the perception by the press.

The Metropolitan Cathedral is huge, unlike any cathedral in the West. The park on the West side of the Galleria is beautiful.

There are many streets where people party, have fun, just as warm, fun and civilized as Europe. I am impressed.

The bros should find a hotel within a few blocks of Zocalo and just walk to all historic sites. I need to compile a list of good restaurants near that area.

Arrived in Cdmx Saturday morning, checked into 3* hotel 3 blocks South of the immense plaza Constitucin, surrounding cobble stone streets are nice, clean, with upscale retail stores, even better than Paris with her fous dog poops everywhere. There were tens thousands people in the plaza, nice, clean, civilized, with good policas presence. Uber guy told me it's safe here, the only risky area is around museo tecnologa. The press way overblows crime risks in cdmx. I am impressed with the beauty and grandeur of cdmx historic quarter and will come back.

Most know it as the Zocalo.

If you go South from the Zocalo in CDMX about 5 blocks south towards the Pino Suarez Metro. Look for CL Regina. It is a blocked off street to traffic and it has bars and restraurants with outside seating and there's a lot of people around. It's safe and fun. If you walk down the main road toward Pino to Regina (South?) then go right on Regina when you see it. It's obvious and made for tourists. I've been to a private party in a flat above a store on that street before. It's more locals than tourists but they expect people who don't speak spanish.
