Just a warning to everyone to avoid Sullivan street. Prices are high $750-$1500 for 30 min 1 pop everything with condom on, and cops are looking for easy targets to rob, I read someone got robbed by cops and I should have stayed away just from that, but I read a report here and I saw some doable girls when I passed on my uber on my went to the hotel.

Now here's what happened:

I arrived in Mexico city at night yesterday, I normally wouldn't go out much less do street walkers on foot, but I was unexpectedly nearby and everyone kept telling me how safe it was because of all the cops (haha), I walked by the street girls and asked around and there were others asking too on car so I got too cocky / confident. I saw a police car driving by and nothing happened, my mistake was walking to the end of the street where more girls are waiting but it was mostly desolated (no foot traffic). I cross the street to turn back and a cop yells at me from his car to turn back.

He tells me saw me soliciting on the cameras and the bullshit fine and it's obvious he just wants a payoff, at this point I have $2000 pesos in my small wallet and I see 3 scenarios: 1. Try to haggle with this cop to give him $500-100.2. Eventually more cops arrive and they take everything I got or force me to go to an ATM and withdraw 6-10 k. 3. Stick to my guns that soliciting is not a crime and have them drive me around and potentially miss a very important meeting I had in the morning the next day + valuables I left in my bag at reception (4-5 k worth of stuff).

I try to argue for a bit and even pat him on the shoulder and communicate to him that I'm not just a naive loser and I know what this is. (I'm not a gringo but I'm young / white and very innocent looking so these cops might think they can squeeze me for a lot).

He gets mad at me pulling out $500 after our chat but he is still the "good cop", then another patrol car arrives and the driver, the "bad cop" gets out of the car, asks me for ID and pats me down. I still show resistance but respectful and I'm trying to communicate to these guys that I'm not that scared, but at the same time I'm contemplating all the possible scenarios, once 4 cops showed up I knew I would have to give everything in my wallet. So after taking out $500 again I hide the bill in my underwear and I'm ready for them to get everything out of my wallet pretty much (1500 pesos).

One cop is telling me the fine is 6-10 k pesos and that I need to get inside the patrol car, I lie and tell them I don't have that kind of money and that I'm staying in a $10 hostel. The bad cop gets in the driver seat and complains about how little money I have after I agree to pay the fine there, afraid he is going to search me for more money I ask him for 50 back for the taxi and he gives it to me and drives off.

Some of you are going to tell me I'm naive and I could have walked away without paying anything, but I had a really important meeting early the next day and 1500-2000 pesos simply were not that big of a deal to me vs all the other possibilities.

In retrospect I should have tried to pay off the first cop as soon as possible, once multiple cops show up it can turn into a more expensive affair, more mouths to feed. I could tell they were not completely happy with the $1500.

I'm not a gringo but I look like one, I stick out a lot and walking alone at night trying to bang street walkers was a bad idea. Not even worth the "reward" since the service would have been bad and the prices would have been high.

Mexico city is going to be just non p4 p for me now and maybe escorts where you don't run those kinds of risks.

I was thinking of checking out Merced before just for the "experience" but now I'm rethinking it, but I don't think those kind of police setups are going to happen over there right?

I was thinking of heading to Colombia and checking the street action there, I don't think cops shake you down over there, but there is always the risk of getting mugged.

I'm not sure if the juice is worth the squeeze regarding street walkers, at least in Mexico. They are not cheaper than escorts and you run a way higher risk + bad service.

I haven't been too active on this site since I left Hong Kong, but I do still find use for ISG when needed. All of my mongering experience is in Asia and Tijuana. I have lived in Asia (all over) for the past 7. 5 years, but things have declined a great deal since the COVID panic and I say with confidence that Asia will be the last part of the world to open up. That being said, I decided to move to Latin America. My first choice was Medellin, but going there from here is a NIGHTMARE, so I figured Mexico City. I figured that it would be somewhat like Tijuana and that it would rampant and insanely fun, but from what I've read it seems like its more trouble than its worth when compared to Tijuana. I'm now looking into just moving to Tijuana. I do still want to visit Mexico City, but I'll do it just to see the sites and not concern myself with getting laid. AND yes, I'm definitely going to check out Medellin (someday)!

Unless you need to stay near the border for easy access to California, CDMX runs circles around Tijuana in terms of somewhere you'd want to live. It is better in just about every possible. Also, there is very little similarity between CDMX and Tijuana. Another big plus is CDMX will cost you less, far less because it's not filled with people making California pay driving up the price of everything.

Mexico City June Trip report Update.

Just a short update to my recent report. I went ahead and visited the Walmart in Buena Vista. There were no girls immediately around the Walmart but I saw about 10 girls on a street about 1 block away. At a distance, none of them were above a 5 so I wasn't interested in going in to get a closer look. Next I went to James Sullivan street again. There are lots of girls on this street but only a few doable. I would say I saw about 30 girls and 3 doable. My definition of doable is a 7.

The girls stand along the James Sullivan road starting at the intersection of Calle Maestro Antonio Caso and end at the Jardin del Arte Sullivan. Most of the girls will be picked up by customers who drive by slowly and then pull over when they see something they like. I don't have a car so I just walked by the area. Whether that's dangerous or not I don't know, but I'm usually more worried of getting shaken down by the cops than anything else.

I would say the hottest girls stand on a corner near the Jardin del Arte Sullivan. I picked one with a decent face and gorgeous slim body. She charges 800 pesos room included. This time I didn't have to pay the down payment before going to the room. There is a lady in a red car that took us about 1 mile north to a short time hotel which I think is named Maria Villa hotel. This was the same lady as a previous night so I wasn't too worried, although I was with my cab driver the previous night.

Room cost is 200 pesos for 30 minutes. She then asked for the 600 before the session started. Room was ok in that it had running water and toilet, better than some places I've been. This session was ok but these girls only allow the vanilla stuff, doggy, mish, cowgirl, etc. No kissing and no fingering with this girl, although she was working hard and seemed eager to please.

I guess the online scene in this city may be good if using twitter and seeking arrangement and other apps, but I'm too lazy to put in the work to make that happen. Overall I haven't been impressed with the attractiveness of Mexican women. Venezuelans and Colombians are much hotter. I will say the restaurant scene in the Polanco area is excellent and food is delicious. If you have a crepes and waffles around where you stay, make sure to try it out. Cost of things in Mexico are generally half that of the US, but twice the price of Colombia.

Just got a covid antigen test at a place Farmacias del Ahorro Insurgentes Napoles, which is close to my new hotel. Was very easy, paid the pharmacy about 350 pesos, they gave me a receipt and told me to go see the doctor next door. After a five minute wait, the doctor asked to see a copy of my passport then swabbed me. I got an email 20 minutes later with the negative result and also a printout.
