I am astounded that you had problems at the Marriott or at any large hotel. With COVID we can again book 24 hour rooms at the Hotel Patriotismo on booking.com except on weekend nights. Many of the love hotels offer 24 hour rooms; the Harare, the Aranjuez and Montreal are in safe parts of Tlalpan. The Amazonas and Mexicali also offer 24 hour rooms but are not top recommendations.

Worse case, see your girls in the short time love hotels they recommend. Usually $15 to $25 USD for 5 hours.

La Merced.

Did some research on La Merced, read some reports and got some good intel from Juan Carter. I started out near Pino Suarez Station. The route consisted of heading west on San Pablo on the Northside of the street. At Circunvalacion turned left and headed north. At Zavala I crossed over to the Eastside of Circunvalacion and continued north. On this stretch there are girls on the inner and outer sidewalks amongst the vendors.
