So may be a sight seeing tour with some hang out in Tlalpan, just to sample the local flavors, would make sense. I read Merced is a major crime area even during the day. Some local veterans of the scene even got robbed or pickpocketed, not a good situation if you are visitor from out of town.

Just like any big city, you need to be aware of your surroundings, my first thought of La Merced was not to ever go there due to this idea of it being dangerous. Obviously put your extreme valuables away in the hotel and take a walk in the daytime, JC was able to personally give me a tour and it ranges a lot from ugly to beautiful but it was thriving even on a slow day. Nonetheless these women are harden by the city so don't expect the best service but it's safe in the day as long as you are aware of what is going on.

Tijuana is good on the selection no doubt but the further south you go, you get more for your dollar plus better intimacy since the girls don't worry as much since they are in their place of home.

What are you writing to them? Though I was there on Sunday, which is usually a slow day, I was able to get at least 5 responses but mainly because I already had a room ready to go. It's my understanding that many of the chicas will only reply to messages which indicate that you're checked into your hotel that's located in the zona they're working, and are ready to acquire their services that day. They often want you to send them a pic of your room key before they'll spend time to type you two sentences. Many spend their down (or should I say, up?) time roaming their hotels and outside them looking for clients. If you check into a hotel along Tlalpan, I assure you that unless you just stay locked in your room that you'll find some chicas.

There are some sort of parties where you can meet some chicas. I know of their existence, but nothing else about them.

Just checked it out, you are right the twitter is an ad agency so it seems they are independents. I would say they possibly are like that but it seems their pictures might be photoshopped so your expectations might be disappointed, but if they are they are premium. Nonetheless you get girls from Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, etc.

3. Economic hotels are in the Tlalpan zona which a lot of escorts go to but higher end chickas will go to the higher end zonas. I can't recall the names.

The girls don't normally say where they are from but in Aguascalientes they have las Violeta's (red ligjt district) and Puebla has Avenida 12 and 14 but you are from Tijuana so those areas don't compare. We arrived about 10 pm Wednesday. There were 8 or 10 Tia's that we rate 3 to 6. No cover but the guy at the door asked a tip "for security", you can ignore him. Drink prices are reasonable. Beers $55, JB $110, $70 Jimador, $110 Herradura Reposado.

This isn't a fichera in the usual sense. The girls charge $20 pesos per dance. Their drinks are the menu price but you pay them $100 pesos directly per drink, they don't get a ficha.
