The Chica was a bit more expensive than you thought because the guy at the hotel who hooked you up will get a kick back from her. There's always a finders fee when dealing with third parties. Moe.

Hit la pharmacia to buy some water and snacks, then checked in to hotel California and took out my laptop to do some work. The deal I have with my girl is that she shows up at 10 pm and stays with me until checkout at noon, so I had time to kill. I normally cross into Mexico at around 8 pm, but with the limited hours of this port of entry, I have no choice, other then crossing at San Luis AZ and driving to Los Algodones. I did this one time and did not enjoy the attention that AZ plates get, so I'll avoid it until things calm down.

I like your reports. Take a walk into the unknown and try another chica. Variety is the spice of life and the main reason why I'm in the hobby. Doing the same chica repeatedly can be good, but sometimes new cereal is better than the same cereal.

All of the street vendors close when the border does, but the hype men apparently have nothing better to do so they hang out in groups playing cards.

I had another fun, relaxing night with my girl and slept in. She still keeps club hours, so I got woke up for a second round of arriba at 3 am. I'm not complaining. Round three at 10 am when I finally woke up, then some cuddling under the covers until shower time before checkout.

She said something weird late at night that kind of confused me. She told me that her friend was sick during our last visit, which I knew, but added that she almost sent another girl to spend the night with me, but was afraid I wouldn't want to see her any more.

It made me wonder what she was thinking. I pay her very generously for these overnight sessions so it's hard to believe she was going to miss out on a good payday to hold her friends hair while she vomits. I'm thinking she just has friends who need to earn some cash and was testing the water to see if I'm OK with meeting them.

In any case, I'm not willing to meet an unknown woman when I have a girl who is complete GFE for me. I basically have no rules other then covered sex, and I have never asked for bareback sex. I made it clear that if anyone but her comes to my room I will not let her in.

I don't know what it all means, but hopefully this isn't a sign of the impending end of my happy little weekend marriage.

The guys who work the front desk are cool as fuck. With how clean and well taken care of the hotel is, I expected to get shit from them for bringing girls in, but I haven't had any issues. They mind their business, are always polite and helpful and get whatever I ask for.

I'm glad you managed to find some company to warm up your sheets. I've never spent a night alone in one of those rooms but they seem like they can be lonely late at night.

Yeah, don't go anywhere to meet a chika. If one of the dudes approaches you and askes if you want a chika, ask for pics. After you have seen the pics, tell him you want her to send a verification pic with her touching her nose or something, so you know the pics are real and recent.

Finally, give her the wrong room number, then watch that room to see who knocks on the door. If it's her, then call her over. If it's not, then you just avoided trouble.

How would I know or safeguard against that? If I strike a deal at my hotel, I wouldn't really figure out if I'm in a position to get set up?

As others have discovered, LA is pretty much shut down. Hawaii and Green Door are closed. Mexicali media outlets are reporting that the Baja, of which LA is a part, is tentatively set to reopen on May 30th. However, that's subject to change. Other states in Mexico are tentatively scheduled to open in June and one in July.

I was in LA two weeks ago to go to the pharmacy and didn't see anything that could even be remotely considered to be available or approachable.

I talked to a few tourists here feeling them out, sounds like by the end of June or July things should get started and open up again. But still kinda clueless on how to find someone here. I walked around a bit and no one offered me anything here. I will hunt more tomorrow. I am staying at the hotel others have mentioned in the thread, but have not seen any activity. I am here for two more nights, if there are any crumbs someone can leave me it would be greatly appreciated. I am not from Yuma, traveled quite far.

I don't know the answer to that. I've been seeing the same girl since before the lockdown happened, so I'm not fishing. If you look further down this thread you'll see a post where I mentioned that the gius who always try to get you into the dentist offices and pharmacies have been asking me of I want a chika. It's probably safe to ask for details when one of them makes the offer. I have no idea what experience you will have, but you'll probably be safe. Hopefully the worse case scenario is that you get head from an out of work dudes ugly girlfriend.

In a situation like this, my advice is to be very respectful of both parties.

Honestly, though, my guess is that the hype men just get a kickback from the chikas for bringing them a client.

So, call me paranoid, but I'm planning some additional precautions. I ordered a money hiding belt from amazon. I'll keep $30 and change in my wallet so if I do get robbed, the robber gets some quick cash and doesn't feel the need to talk any frustration out on me. Second, I'm working on collecting some clothes in Mexican brands that won't stick out so much as me crossing the border wearing my luck brand cargo pants and an Abercrombie and Fitch t-shirt with a pair of sketchers on. Third, I have saved a couple of bags from the pharmacist to carry my toiletries and change of underwear in so the backpack doesn't make me stand out like a tourist.

I'm dark complected with dark brown hair and brown eyes, but still do not look like the average Mexican, but I also don't look like a Norwegian business man.

Another thing I realize I do is to keep my smartphone out too much in public. I'm going to stop that. Finally, I realized that I check in to my room and immediately turn on Netflix and play something in English. From now on, I'll play only Spanish language media with English subtitles in the hotel room.

Laugh if you want, but I'm not planning for an average day, I'm planning for the worst possible day, since I plan to continue seeing my girl even as things continue to get worse. I think we all know they will get worse.
