Z-man and I will be doing Hawaii Club. Should be a good time with plenty of chicas to be had. We personally know of some A Team members who will be there for the weekend. Dancing starts at 3 pm And usually goes full throttle until around 8 pm depending on the crowd.

I would imagine that once your vehicle is impounded it will never be the same (if you ever find it again). Having been stopped by a cop who spoke good English he informed me of these issues. Luckily for me the said cop was honest and did not ask me for a deposit.
The best policy in Mexico is park your vehicle at hotel and taxi to your monger activities.

This hotel is in Mexicali but these pictures go with my previous report. I just had to resize them because they were too big to post. $68 US nightly rate. The building in the background (with the orange tower) is Real Inn. The building to the right is Fiesta Inn. Hotel Posada is in the background of the white jeep. I found that weird because there is another (Hotel Posada) on the far side to Fiesta Inn. I saw probably 5 total around the city.

So at the spur of the moment I decided to check out a couple of the northwest border towns. I rtff, make some notes, print some maps and head out. There is a quality inn hotel off the I-8 exit if you want to stay on the US side. I suppose you could walk to the border from the hotel. I decided to go ahead and drive across. Couple miles to the border from the I-8 exit and I crossed no problem at 930 p. Just on the other side two Mexican authorities do their checks. (through the passenger side window) They wanted to look in the glove compartment and arm rest while his partner checked the trunk. They never asked me to exit my vehicle. 3 minutes and I was on my way.
Pull up to the stop sign, make a right, first left and I see Hawaii Club. Park out front and there is free entry into the club. Dos equis was $2 and no problem at all paying in US currency. 22 girls and more guys. Vast majority there were locals, one more from US and me. Pretty decent vibe to the place. I take awhile to just look and check out the scene. Every club (and different country) seems to have its own way of operating. A lot of the girls weren't the best looking (in face) but those bodies, mmmm. Two told me the fee would be 80 (for her) 20 (for the room). One told me 200 for take out. When I asked, one of the girls said at closing she'd give me head in the car for 500 p. I asked one of the guy servers for the price (in the club) he said it depends on the girl.
Make a left out the front of Hawaii, right the stop sign and another right at the next one is green door. Say Hello, to the door guy and walk in. The beers were mostly $2-$3. One of the girls I talked to told me it was the rate was 80-20. She also told me for fun in the room it'd be $150 from closing until 8 am.
Went back to Hawaii club, watched some, mingled some. Stayed until just before closing and the one girl was true to her word. $40 US for BJ in the car.
IMO, Hawaii has better girls. Green door has better bar. For some reason I didn't make note of and can't remember the price for chica drinks.
Drive passed hotel central and it looked deserted. No problem, I'd already decided to go ahead and drive to Mexicali. I take highway 8 (on the mexico side) passed the airport into Mexicali. Passed a few cars going in opposite direction but the first 40 miles of the trip was dark. Made my way into the outskirts of town and started seeing street light and the resemblance of civilization. Plenty of police roadblocks for the opposite direction traffic. Whew, glad I'm not going that way. Miss my turn, go 100 yards and BOOM roadblock. Asked me to pull to the side and I ask them for directions. Without details they caught me dead to rights in the wrong. We go back and forth in his broken English and my Spanglish. In any case he assures me of the seriousness of the situation and says I need to follow him back to the station. I say okay lets go. Out of nowhere in perfect clarity he says, you can pay a deposit if you want. LOL the fucker. How much deposit and he says $200 US. Already with my money separated I pull out $84 and offer 80. He readily agrees that will suffice and gives me directions to my destination. You-turn into the opposite direction and in 5 minutes I make it to hotel Colonial. Without reservation I get a room for $68. Nothing special but its adequate.

Okay so earlier this month I decided to take a short trip to LOS Algodones just to check it out. Decided to stay at Hotel Central as Hacienda was a bit of a walk from where the action is. Well, the hotel kinda sucks. Got there on a Friday night and they were out of singles so I had to pay $600 mn or $50 dls for a double that was located way in back. Somewhat of a rip off since I am used to Tijuana and a room at Valerio is only $35 and much nicer than Central. At 10 am the next morning, a maid unlocks the door and barges into my room without knocking. She didn't have her cart with her so I'm not sure what her purpose was. I'm lucky I was in the room or maybe my stuff would have gone missing. Next night I switched to a single room that was located right off the main street. Was somewhat loud because of the surprisingly high number of cholos pulling up to get gas with their banda music blaring. Paid $400 mn or $33 dls. Bathroom was pretty run down. But there aren't really many options in this small town. I think Hacienda is the only other hotel.
Ended up eating exclusively at taco carts around town. They were all below average by Tijuana standards. Got overcharged a couple times by $15 mn. Algo must be a low-crime town as most the of shops have glass storefronts with no bars or other type of barrier behind the glass. One could easily do a smash and grab. Stores like this without adequate security measures wouldn't last a week in Tijuana without getting robbed. Also not a single taxi here so have a car or be prepared to walk.
Anyhow, Friday night went to Hawaii around midnight. Saw a steady procession of chicas leave for the next hour or so, many of them with small carry-on size suitcases in tow. By 2 am there were only 3 tables occupied and 3-4 chicas working. Nothing worth sticking around for so I went back to the hotel solo.
Saturday night I arrived at Green Door shortly after midnight. This place can easily pass for a civie bar if you subtract the two poles on the dance floor. This place reminds me a lot of Las Chavelas in Tijuana. Bunch of middle aged locals dancing to banda music with the chicas. There was a live band playing that night. Chicas looked pretty normal. I would rate 5-7. Dressed in jeans, normal tops and regular tight dresses. Didn't see any skanky looking ones wearing lingerie, revealing dresses or 8" heels. No one showing their tits or grinding on customers. I had a hard time believing this was a puta bar.
Green Door got boring real quick so I headed over to Hawaii. It was pretty busy but I wouldn't say packed. Many of the tables seemed occupied by groups of guys and civie girls. I think that since this is such a small town and there's really no other options to go clubbing so regular young adults come here to party. But this place is definitely a strip club / puta bar. There's a main stage with pole where chicas dance topless. As far a quality most of the chicas I would rate 6-7 with maybe a couple 7. 5's.
So both nights at Hawaii I sat by myself and took advantage of the $15 dls bucket of 10 cervesas. This waiter who spoke decent English sat with me the first night and asked for a couple of beers. I wasn't going to drink all 10 so I let him drink 2 or 3. He was a little too touchy and I suspected he was gay. The next night he came and drank a couple of beers with me again. And touchy again. And before I left he asked me for my number. Now I'm 99.9% sure he's gay. A nice guy though, he would bring me over chicas and then give me a couple bucks to tip them with. Imagine that, a mesero in Mexico giving away money to a customer in a puta bar! Anyhow, they closed at 4 am so I went back to Central solo. Overall, this town is kinda boring and probably wouldn't come back as Mexicali is less than an hour away.

I spent the weekend in Algo. Had a great time at Hawaii. Plenty of chicas available. Money is still real tight on the local economy so the girls are more open to negotiate prices. As always, dancers will swing over to your chair / booth for a $1. Tip which gets you some touchy feelie. If you invite a chica for a drink you can fondle her with no problems from the establishment.

Posts: 8Nov. 19-21 in LOS Algodones
I'm going to be in LOS Algodones for some dental work on November 19th through the 21st. I'm going to park at the overnight parking lot on the US side and stay at the Hotel Central and find some fun chicas to hang out with while I'm in town. I know it's not a weekend. But is anyone going to be around? It would be fun to share a cerveza with some fellow mongers.
