Just about to leave Tijuana and take the 3 hour drive (from San Diego) over to Yuma and into LA Mexico. Is there a recommended spot to park in Yuma and cross over?

You can park right at the border! There's a pretty good size lot. Ask the attendant where to park in the lot if your going overnight I guess 1 side of the lot is for same day down and back visitors and the other side is for overnight or something like that. Parking is cheap and secure though. Moe.

LOS Algodones is pretty quiet right now. Is starting to get hot out this way and the border still closes at 2 pm. I go down there to get my haircut, have a few beers and get something to eat. I can do all that in LOS Algodones for about the price it would cost me to go to a barber in Yuma. Go figure! The last time I was there was at the end of March on a Tuesday. The Green Door was closed! The other bar in town is called Hawaii Bar and it's been closed for about a year. Rumor has it that it's not opening until October. I was told in March that the green door is no longer open everyday of the week and it's pretty much open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This has a lot to do with the early border closure. Not sure when your going but thought I would let you know what is happening. If your going to be in LA on a weekend I think it would be ok but if it's during the week I would cruise over to Tijuana. Moe.

Thank you Moe for the 411. Decided I'm going to hit up Tijuana this week (Wed) and LA Friday and leave Saturday. First time going to either. LA is for some dental work, Tijuana just for the experience.

Looking to take a trip here for the first time in the next week for some cleaning of the teeth. It seems the Green Door is the best bet. Do the girls there do over nights? What would be an average to pay for something like overnight. Only done it here in the states.

Tried to look up escorts in the area and that was a no go to my surprise. I don't drink so heading to the bar just seems weird to me.

Go get a seltzer and talk to the girls. You can definitely get there number for take out and delivery.

No more than $100 to $150 maybe $200 if she is a knockout.

Yeezy1, I don't want to rain on your parade, but that Hawaii opening announcement is just arbitrary. The table dance bars (strip clubs) aren't opened in Mexicali yet. The Mexicali local gov't hasn't made a decision if or when they will allow them to open. When the strip clubs in Mexicali open, the Hawaii will open. Unless the club built a kitchen and can pass it off as a restaurant / bar as does the Green Door. Then it could be possible.

I went down to LOS Algodones today. Got a haircut and then walked over to the green door. Place was closed. Didn't bother to go over to the Hawaii bar. Figured it would still be closed. Ate lunch at La Parilla and one of the dudes working said Green Door is only open 3 or 4 days a week now. Like Friday, Saturday and Sunday. People seem optimistic that the border hours are going back to regular closing times starting at the end of April. We'll see! Pretty long line to get back into the US at around 1 or 1:30. Kinda sucked because it was hot and the poor locals just continuously hound you to buy something. Moe.
