Hey all,
First post here.
I live in the Palm Springs area, thinking of heading down to Los Aldogones for a day trip to load up on some Cialis and maybe an hour with a gal. Green Door or? For an afternoon diddy?
Thanks!

Posts: 41The (grumpy) snowbirds are beginning to trickle into the Yuma area. I suspect the chica season across the border will begin to pickup shortly. Action starts in the clubs / bars. There is no street action.

Posts: 41Haven't been down for awhile now but the weekdays at the Green Door and Hawaii Club are usually pretty slow and not many chicas. However a great time can still take place and your chances of toda la noche at a decent rate are really good.
Never really had a bad time in LOS Algodones and neither will you if you go during the week.

Went during the day a few months back and the clubs are open but there are no street girls at all from what I could gather. Maybe at night, but didn't see them and the town seems really small.
Imagine the clubs are probably fun.

Posts: 5I know the scene is slow during this time of the year, but I have some time off during the week. I have only gone during the busy season on the weekends. Is it even worth going down during the weekdays?

Posts: 4Answers to a few Los Algodones questions recently posted
Glad to see a little activity in this thread.
Do I need a car / border crossing. As others have posted, you will not need a car (or even a taxi) once you get into LOS Algodones. The entire area you need to access is just 2 - 3 blocks square and you will get the layout of the town pretty quickly. Virtually everyone there speaks English so even if you do happen to get turned around, simply ask any local you see and they will direct you to where you want to go.
Taking a taxi / Uber from Yuma is an option, however, Los Algodones is located about 7 - 10 miles (estimate) West of Yuma, and then about 1 - 2 miles off of the highway, so it could be a fairly expensive car ride. There is a casino at the exit to Algodones called the Quechan casino, you can get a rate of $59 a night if you get one of their players club cards, and the hotel is really quite nice. From there it is about 1 mile or so to the border crossing.
As far as taking girls back to your room, I have never tried to do so, but have read the stories here in the forum of others doing so. Bar Hawaii has a flea Bag hotel attached to it, and the normal procedure is to pay a small extra fee for the hotel room. There is also a similar setup next to the green door. Rooms are typical of what you would expect, but serve their purpose just fine. Never had any problems or felt insecure there.
** Don't be turned off by the Hawkers / Promoters you will encounter immediately after hitting the first block. 90% of the income in this town comes from Dental / Optometrist / Pharmacy and these people are paid by the clinics to try and obtain new customers. I simply tell them I either don't need it or already have an appointment and keep on walking.
** If you are looking for a good dental clinic make a left at the first intersection and down about 1 block is the Rubio clinic. I have gone there for over 5 years and have never been disappointed.
Hope the information helps, and if you have other specific questions just post them. Have a great time and let us know how it goes.

Posts: 763Will I actually need the car in town or is everything pretty much within walking distance? --- You will not need a car. Everything is within walking distance from the border.
Any information on which of these hotels is better for mongering? --- Hotel Central is better for mongering. It is a garden style hotel who's doors lead directly outside so management doesn't keep track of who goes in and out your room. It is a very basic hotel, perhaps a notch below a Motel 6. It is clean enough and adequate all around.
I've heard reports of guys taking their date back to the room at the Hotel Central for a 90 minute romp or toda la noche. --- Many chicas will agree to go back to HC and management turns a blind eye to putas coming and going.
What about the Hacienda? --- I've never stayed there but driven by a few times. It seems a couple notches above HC in comfort and amenities. It seems more of a family oriented hotel. Too far to walk to the bars in my opinion.
So, how is it getting around at night? --- Walking or driving your own car. There isn't a single taxi in LA.
Is LOS Algodones small enough to be safe to walk back to your hotel from the clubs at night. --- Walking to HC from the clubs is like 3-4 short blocks. It's reasonably safe. I've done the walk alone late at night many times without incident. You'll notice shopkeepers don't use security shutters at night, exposing an all-glass storefront. LA seems to be a low crime small town.
What about getting a date back to your room? --- Unless she has her car you two will have to walk back to HC.
I hope this helps. You plan on going to Tijuana while in SD? There's literally 10,000 x more mongering activities there at your disposal.

Posts: 1First Trip to LOS Algodones
Hello all,
I'd like to introduce myself, I'm the new guy on the block.
I've been lurking on the site for about a week now, and decided it was time to get busy and participate.
Set up the registration, got my subscription. Time to Rock and Roll!
I am gathering information for my first trip to LOS Algodones.
I will be traveling back from San Diego to Phoenix later this month and need to stop in Yuma for business.
I figured what the hell, I can linger a couple of days. I can head across to LOS Algodones to check out the dental scene during the day, and the mongering scene at night for a day or two.
From the info provided by Mrstealth99, I gathered that as the snowbirds start heading back up north and things start to slow down, the provider population also goes down.
I've been living in Arizona for 20 years, I get that. It get's hot.
So there's still fun to be had, but the selection might be week. (thanks for the info Mrstealth).
As I will have to store my work gear in my hotel room, I was thinking of just leaving the car at the hotel also.
Will I actually need the car in town or is everything pretty much within walking distance?
I was thinking of just taking an Uber from my hotel in Yuma to the border, crossing on foot and getting a room at either the Hotel Central or the Hacienda.
Any information on which of these hotels is better for mongering?
I've heard reports of guys taking their date back to the room at the Hotel Central for a 90 minute romp or toda la noche.
Am I correct in assuming that the Hotel Central is girl friendly?
What about the Hacienda?
I should preface this next section by letting everyone know that although this is my first trip to LOS Algodones, this is not my first trip to Mexico.
I have been traveling to Mexico since I was a teenager, and I'm very good at staying out of trouble with the Policia and / or Federales.
Knowing equally well how to not fall prey to the hawkers, muggers, pickpockets, and random scam artists, etc. That you're bound to run across.
That being said, please understand the following questions about safety are not coming from a place of fear, but from experience. The more information the better.
So, how is it getting around at night?
Are their taxi's readily available?
Is LOS Algodones small enough to be safe to walk back to your hotel from the clubs at night.
What about getting a date back to your room?
So Many questions.
OK, I think I've rambled on enough for now.
I look forward to hearing everybody's input.
