Los Algodones (near Yuma)

Haven't been to this area, but as I was looking at a map, it seems one would rather go over the the much more populated San Luis Rio, no? Do you guys go there too? I mean, Algodones has like 4k and San Luis has 160k or something.

I've been there once and it was ok but more expensive. The hotels are independent of the bars I went to and you had to rent them all night and cab to them. The girl I was with quoted 1 hr. minimum and only gave me one pop but I wasn't that much into her so didn't push the issue. The quality I saw wasn't as good but not much below.

From where I stay it's much faster and easier to go to Los Algodonas.

To answer your Question, Gym... yes ,thats the one. As I said before I have spent the night there,.The rooms are clean and discreet. And I have walked back to both bars from there ,with no problems. I will probably be back there (Greendoor and Hawaiian) next Thursday. then drive back that nite. I have a job! LOL! Later!

To answer the question about parking. There is a big parking lot there, it is 5.00, but if you want them to keep overnight. They have you park in a secure lot that is locked up, Cost 22.00. Yeah you can park at the casino. I have done that. But Had a problem getting a cab back to Casino afterwards. I have also parked my car along that road before you go across, overnite but you do at your own risk. I was very apprehensive about it, But I was stuck on the Mexico side after border closed that time. Had no choice. But nothing happened and there were plenty of other cars there that did the same. I would not reccomend it though. Also if you stay across a night, you can stay at Hotel Central, where you can park your car in a covered discreet carport and walk right into your room. I like #2. Next morning leave back across with virtually no cars to wait in line for. Price of hotel is 35.00 + 5.00 for your guest. LOL! Now as far as daytime action. Nothing worth getting there that early. Girls start Dancing on Thursday again around 4:00. But girls don't start showing till after 5:00. This is off season but during season they start showing up at 3:00 when the dancing starts. I'll be back there in 2 weeks.

I haven't been down for a month and it was pretty slow. I would suggest Thurs. thru Sat. for the best times. But as Zman has reported even thursdays can be really slow. Sunday aftertnoons from 1 pm. on or so can be good in the winter when the produce tramps and Snowbirds are in town but a month ago it was totally dead. Most of the better Chicas don't show up until 4 pm. or so on the above mentioned target days so getting out of "Dodge" might have to be set back an hour or so. I am familiar with the parking lot, but I park on the street, that 5 bucks can buy your favorite chica a jugo or Coronita in the Green Door.

Another member told me about a big-ass parking lot 100 meters from the border. (Quechua tribe Parking Lot). Only 5 bucks and safe, but they lock it up after 11pm and tow the cars that are left there.

I'm more curious about what time the "action" starts down there. I mean, lets say I want to take a day trip. Leave Phoenix at 9am, arrive down there by 1pm. Stay across the border till 6pm, then drive back to Phoenix and it home by 10pm.

Is there any good chica action to be had between 1pm and 5pm? Or, is it primarily after the sun goes down?

Lastly, what about weekday trips? I was thinking about ditching work and shooting down there mid-week?

Keep in mind our fucked-up economy is affecting Mexico big time. The dollar will buy you plenty down there now. At the Hawaii Club check out "Ana" from Sinaloa. Curious... Why would you feel sorry for the ladies? For Mexico, they make great money doing what they want/need to do. If you don't work, you don't get paid!

It's no different than any "commission only" job in the USA. When I use to sell industrial electronics I only get paid when I close a deal. My commission depends on how much I sell and how many add-ons I can include. Part of my commission goes to the paperwork staff for doing all the contract work. If I show up late and a client calls looking for me, my deal can get passed to some other sales agent. If I don't show up at all, I get fired! If it wasn't profitable for me to do it, I wouldn't!

It's no different than what the chicas are doing. The main thing is, our $60 is worth a whole heck of a lot more in Mexico than in the US. If it wasn't profitable for the chicas, they wouldn't do it.

So PLEASE keep this in mind when you go south and spend your $$$. Keep the prices low for the rest of us! Once the chicas think they can hit us gringos up for more $$$, trust me, they will.
