Los Algodones (near Yuma)

I arrived later than I usually do, about 7:00 pm. The dancers were done for the night. Josefina, the "Morena" I mentioned in another report came over and sat with me for about an hour. She told me that it was her birthday and a fiesta day in Mexico. The border here closes at 10:00 pm, but the place was jammed with young hot Mexican girls. Josefina said the bar was open until 3:00 am for the fiesta.

Decided to try something new yesterday. I found a seafood restaraunt that served fresh oysters. As I was enjoying them and the view, I eyed a little flaca that works at Bar Hawaii. I finished eating went in and found her. We talked a while and I found out her name was Rose or Rosa,as you prefer. We went up to the hotel and I gave her the money. She said she needed to go out for a second and lo and behold, she never returned. there I was naked as a jaybird and in the 15 minutes I waited three different girls walked in the room, saw me and left.

I finally got dressed, went back to the bar and found out this is at least the second or third time she has done this.

the owner said I was only the second to complain, but thought their might be more who were to scared or nervous to complain. The owner said she worked there and even asked me if the girl was Rose. He said she would be fired and they would try and get my money back. What a joke. DO NOT GO TO BAR HAWAII. IT IS A RIP OFF.

So with my tail between my legs I went back to Bar Olympico. Sat through three sets of dancers and finally scored with the tall beautiful one from San Luis, BC. I have been eying her for weeks.

Well all in all, looking at this day in a perspective that would allow my wounded ego the space it needed, I decided I still paid less for a time with the beautiful dancer named Easa, and Rosa, the rip off, than I would have paid for some mediocre time in what has been referred to as "Sex Hell" in Phoenix. After a rough weekend dealing with exes, and now having to deal with the tidal pull, (If you know what I mean). I decided to make a run for the border Monday afternoon to revisit Algodones and the Bar Olimpico. AKA The Green Door.

There are no dancers on Monday, so there is a long dull period if you get there early. I was in for the long haul so I waited and waited while watching wrestling on the numerous tv sets while sucking down Negra Modelo at $3.00 a pop. Very litle early action. "Wendy" the fake Columbian was there with her oversized mammaries. She scares me to death and she knows it. She won't even say hi now, which is a blessing to me.

There were a few others including one little bimbo hottie who walks around like she is hot to trot, but is a dead fish in the sack.

A little older woman who caught me eye, but not my fly was there too. There was also a J-Lo impersonator that made me do a couple of retakes. I like em small and she was really good looking but she wasn't small.

I kept missing with one fina chica. She kept going and coming and finally made conversation and arrangements. Her name is Josefina. Brief info on Algodones:

I visited but didn't partake in late February/early March. I'm 34 and would enjoy something like that, but was I taking older relatives across to get prescription meds.

Algodones seems like the safest and maybe cleanest border town I've been to. My scared cracker kin from the Midwest would like to visit again.

I stopped in briefly at Bar Olympico. Like folks mention, it's a large snowbird crowd. And the town, aside from Bar Olympico, largely closes down by about 5 p.m., so you get some fairly drunk geriatrics early on in the day.

As far as the girls, I wasn't all that impressed. My points of reference are Nogales and Tijuana.

Seemed like it might be hard competing wallet-wise with the old guys' Social Security pocket money. Maybe the off season helps, who knows?

I found Algodones through some on-line guides. Basically, the border crossing is west of Yuma, maybe 8 miles or so, just across the California line. Have patience, and you'll see the sign for the town. There's a commercial lot for parking right at the border.

Herradura tequila costs about a third less there than at the Otay Mesa duty free shop.

I thought it might be quiet today but I was mistaken. It was packed in Los Algodones. I visited Bar Olimpico which was wall to wall people. The usual Saturday crowd was there. Sat through the first set of dancers. Alejandra from Culiacan, Sinaloa came and sat down with me for a while. We made so so conversation between my poor Spanish and her poor English. She finally asked if I wanted to go get a room and I told to come ask again in an hour since I had just got there. She took off never to return. I found out the name of the tall dancer I have been eying. I think its Jocilyn. Man is she hot. I ended up taking the little spinner Mariana for the upstairs ride. She is gorgeous and is a very nice person as well. She even speaks a little English.

Now as I write this, I am soon to be heading out the door for San Luis, Rio Colorado. I am going to see if Medusa's is open. I have yet to try it out. One of my Mexican buddies said it would be closed with everyone down in El Golfo for Easter weekend. We will see. But, thats another story.

You sure are right about the Snowbirds bringing their wives in there. As I am sure most know, the Algadones border crossing closes at 10PM. That means, unless you want to drive all the way to San Luis or to Mexicali, this is a rather early place to go.

Last time I was there was in December and I witnessed the phenomena of these ***holes who take their wives to a place like this. I saw these guys with their old bagged out wives sitting there drinking cervesas with a smug, we are above all this look on their faces. The women were all wide eyed waiting for something to happen. I bet they all thought their husbands were so worldly and they were so proud of themselves because their husbands would NEVER do anything like come there without them.

There were several decent chicas there but I did not want to engage for the same reason you put forward and because I certainly did not want to be a source of entertainment for these voyeuristic losers who secretly wish they could partake in the activities.

Quite frankly, I would have like to *****slap these idiots! But, ni modo.

By the way, I will never drive over there again. This is a place to park on the US side and walk over.
