Just got word, e-mail, from one of my fav's at La Casona that the business is really, really slow. She's thinking of going to Maztlan for the month of November. Talked and texted other girls, and they are in somewhat of agreement on it being slow. I'm away on business, but should be returning soon. What's the situation? Any news?

I am surprise no one has responded to this question. This would make most believe that the clubs are dead. I happen to be in Mexicali yesterday and there was much activity on the streets. I am only enter one club, the Playboy Club. This place has been to be quite busy. Business with to have been good. It worked at least 25 girls working on the floor. Fortunately, my favorite was there and he had a great time.

If the clubs are dead, this may not necessarily be a bad thing. When there are less money out there for the ladies they tend to get more desperate and are more willing to drop their normal price.

This is a picture of Nino. She's my regular. After one ficha drink we went for a private dance and I received a BBBJ for the price of tiny tip. My friend took her cousin and had a FS for $60 total.

Arrived tonight (Monday) about 10:30 small crowd a couple of very old guys drinking with two larger girls (big boobs and wide hips no more than 5's) and me. Four other girls working. Forget about it! I lived in Mexicali for 6 years. Just about everything is closed on New Years Eve. The bars, the restaurants, the taco stands, etc. New Years Eve in Mexicali is a family event and everybody stays home.

I lived down there for a couple of years too. Joe has it right (of course) they roll up the streets on New Years Eve. My first year down there while living with my wife I thought it would be party time. She was stripping at Miau Miau. They didn't even open as I recall. She worked Christmas day though and had decent business as the men slip away and hit the strip clubs. I will never forget the total disappointment. We were out at 1:30am trying to find something to eat and finally found a dude selling tomales in the street. The only one in the entire city. It was like a ghost town. To this day we do nothing Christmas Day, but on New Years we head to Rocky Point with her family and drink for three days straight. Literally go to bed New Years Day at 6:30am with a gut full of menudo and shit faced, wake up at 9:30. And start all over again. They party. But at home with family.

Thanks for the info. It surprises me. I thought it would be the opposite issue in that every place would be so jammed packed with gringos you would not be able to find a lady for a good price. Odd, I would think those places would want to make the revenues from New Years Eve. Definitely not like here in that every bar in town will be open!

Is it a good time to do it or are the places so filled with gringos that one can not get a girl. Do the girls jack up the prices on New Years Eve? Are the motels more expensive? Mexicali pretty much shuts down on New Years. It mainly celebrated with family. Most of the strip clubs before midnight. As far the hotels goes, I'd make a reservation just in case.

I spent a New Yr's eve with friends a couple of years ago, and there were hardly any of the good girls working, just the hard core ones. Bar SD & El Stabelo were open, but nothing of worth doing. Even out hotel bar closed at midnight. Generally during the Christmas & New Yr's holidays, the girls head home or stay home and return to work around the second week
