As someone who has been going to Mexicali on a weekly basis, and has seen a few "hotel girls", I am wondering WHERE in this "Zona" the "Playboy Club" is. I have learned withthe "hotel" chicas, that the younger and cuter the chick, the higher the price, and the more pathetic the performance. Right, left, right, left. When you cross the border follow these simple directions to goto the zone. Look for any hotel with girls in the hallway or just at the door way. Sure sign they are working. If you drive turn right on Altamarano then left. Some dive motels on that street, I generally use Posado next to Playboy club as it is $4 or 50 pesos. I got a kick about the Bahia. Many a young man's cherry was popped there! Unfortunately it came under some political pressure when the shopping center people complained and the owner ran it to the ground.

A second option is to go LEFT on Mexico street to hit the titty bars, 1 block toward the border after the turn.
BTW, current market price is 200 pesos, some want 300 for FS. As a regular I only pay 200 or less than $20US. If you pay 300 pesos you will find all kinds of short timers and some hotties working for milk money. It's all good.. Tres Aces is OK I generally drink at Gato Giro as the beer is cheap and the semi pros come to me as I just don't feel them up at the table with no chance of any work to them-I pay to play. The women understand that so keep that in mind. Good hunting.

I also like El Gallo Giro. (name means The Jumping Rooster) The inside decor is not much to cheer about, but when I go there, it's usually not for the decor. The action is pretty hit-or-miss, but looking to satisfy that particular "itch" is half the excitement. I've picked up many a nice good-looking lady there for an hour of private fun for only $20.00. Again, it helps to be a regular, have a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in what the woman has to say. Never disrespect the ladies. They do talk to each other. Your positive attitude and good personal grooming / hygiene will often help bring down that price and make it a much more pleasurable experience.

Found a small "cadre" of SW's in the lobby, and at the front door of the "El Modelo Hotel" (at the corner of two streets that did not have their names listed on ANY visible street sign! Had one for $50.00, plus a $5. 00 room fee. She was not worth it, as she was NOT into DATY, nor did she make ANY discernable sign of breathing when the deed was being performed. I doubt I will make a habit of going to Mexicali for SW's, but it was interesting to see that not a lot about that place has changed since 1986 when I was last there!

Girls working the street will state a price from $15.00 and up. Many times, the first price isn't the final price. Nobody's feelings are hurt if you try to bargain.

Can anyone confirm some intel I got from a tax driver this weekend re: Bar Jalla La Jara (between old Porky's and Hotel Reforma across from Miau Miau) being a good spot to pick up SG / semi-pros? Driver said girls at Jalla charge $50-$60 dollars for two hours? He said there's some skinny hotties at Jalla? Any intel on prices and girl quality?

This is a ficha bar just like El Gato Negro. Not a place the SG would hang around. The ficha drinks are 70 pesos (vs 60 at El Gato). It is a small place and have only few girls. The quality is more or less same as El gato bar except you have few choices. Few months ago I asked one of the girls and she wanted 1200 pesos for going to the Hotel. She was hot. It worth checking out the place once in a while if you like ficha bars. It is a cleaner place than El Gato bar.

I last partook of the SW's in Mexicali in 1986! Not even sure I remember WHERE the "Zona Roja" is! I remember a place called "La Bahia Hotel" on "Calle B" (this was 28 years ago! Since I am now moving BACK to the I. V. this month, I could use an "update" on where the "Zona Roja" is, and THE places for to find providers that are worth the trip (they sure cannot be found on Adams Ave. In EC, as they were back in the day! I spent two nights in the zone July 2 and 3. Plenty of street girls available for the starting price of $20. Of course you will need to pay a little extra for bareback. I did Ana over at playboy Club in the private back room. She was good and I convinced her to full bareback at $60. Did not see any hassles with the police but I always keep a low profile while walking the street. I stayed at Hotel Chinease which is girl friendly but parking is no longer free in the lot down the street.

I noticed this a few times late in the night. Being a CJ regular, I have a healthy depreciation and radar for the MX Policia, so I avoid any situations that may interact with them.

They can be found walking / standing in the one block square formed by the streets: (clockwise) Benito Juarez, Morelos, Lerdo de Tejada and Altamirano. Watch out for the providers with adams' apples and be aware that la policia sometimes likes to shake down mongers who patronize cardless SG's.

Interesting you mentioned Tres Ases. While walking I saw that bar and thought the same thing. Semi-pro hangout, but didn't stop. On the list for next trip.
