Thanks very much for all of the info you guys provide. I have made a real effort to RTTF. However, I can't seem to find a lot of info, recent or otherwise, on escort agencies in Mexicali. Through internet searches I've found one myself, BajaGirls2. Any experience with them? Any other agencies with which you've had good luck? Red Light District THE TRIANGLE is walkable but getting around the rest of the city to explore (on foot) is very much not walkable. Unlike Tijuana when you aren't mongering there are many things to do *within walking distance.

Otherwise I agree with your assessment of Mexicali.

Post doesn't make much sense. You say that Mexicali is not a walking town but then proceed to state that the bars are only a very short walk apart. If I may clear things up for board members who have never visited Mexicali. I last visited in 2017 so my info may be a little dated. In the downtown area near the border there are El Gato Negro, Playboy, La Casona, Miau Miau and La Mosca. I would say it is more of a 6 block radius. La Mosca, along with El Nido, are unquestionably the two best bars in Mexicali. Miau Miau is right next to La Mosca and is okay. The other downtown bars absolutely suck. The bars away from downtown, Giau Giau, La Cabana, El Establo, Aquarius, El Nido, Studio 69 are all spread out and miles apart, except for Studio 69 and El Nido, which are next to each other. El Nido is pretty good and the rest suck, although not as bad as the downtown bars. My recommendation is, if you are used to Tijuana, do not visit Mexicali midweek because you will be bored to death. The bars don't open til early evening and the talent is very scarce Monday through Wednesday. Obviously Fri and Saturday are the busiest and Thursday and Sundays are tolerable. Even on weekends El Nido and La Mosca are the only clubs with sufficient talent. Only problem with arriving on a Friday is that sometimes hotels fill up fast even in the summer, so get there early or arrive on Thursday.

Thanks for the response guys. I guess I will stay in Tijuana because I do not like the heat. Was just curious. The guy doing these videos is now mixing in Tijuana footage with Mexicali. Its a nice update to see the chicas until I can get back down to Tijuana.

Short answer is no. The drive is not worth it, as Tijuana is better in almost every regard. Also, do not go to Mexicali during summer under any circumstances. Hot as an oven is understating the heat. With that said, the one advantage Mexicali has over Tijuana is cost savings if you like escorts. Escorts are in the 700-1500 range in Mexicali versus 1200-2000 as has been my experience in Tijuana.

I've been to Karma spa multiple times. It's a good place with good girls and service. I like it because it's near the border so you don't have to go to far and spend a lot of time traveling. They always lock the door. You just have to wait a few seconds so they can unlock it remotely. They have several rooms with a massage table, showers and couches. It's $25 for a massage and I think $80 or $90 for full service for one hour. They ask you what you want when you are in the room with the girl you picked. Different girls work different hours and days. They have their schedule I think. It's a good place, I like it.

Good info Connie. Thank you! I've only seen independents in Mexicali but will definitely consider trying a massage parlor on my next trip. However, that may be several months as I refuse to go there when the temps run over 100. It's supposed to be 115 there on Wednesday. No thanks!

It was $80 (American Dollars) for an hour. The room was a bit dark so it was hard to see but nonetheless it was a good room. It had a massage table, a shower, a chair and a bed like area. I was very good.

I went in and I again said "Habla Usted Ingles?" and the girl behind the counter immediately asked me if it was my first time and I said yes. She then told me it was 80 American Dollars and it included everything (no negotiating). I liked this system better. I went to Mexicali for the first time in 6 years on Memorial Day. I must say there have been some changes. When I got to Mexico and I walked through the large hall that had all of the Mexican customs agent (I had never seen this before) I was carrying nothing but for some reason a uniformed officer pulled me aside and wanted to ask me some questions. He started saying something in Spanish and I said "No hablo Espanol" and then in a very broken English that I could barely understand he asked me if I was carrying any money. I said yes. He then asked me how much money I had on me. I was a bit hesitant at this point because I thought that I might be part of a shakedown but I told the guy 200 American dollars. He did not understand so I tried to say it again and he still did not understand. I then in my very poor Spanish which I speak very little of said "dos cientos dollares Americain". He then nodded his head like it was ok and then he asked me if I had any checks (not sure why he cared about that) and I said no. He then ushered me through. Everyone else seemed to be walking through with no issue so I am not sure what he found in me that looked suspicious but I was not shaken down so I was ok.

Based on what I have read on this forum and based on what I said in my previous posts that I wanted (no talking to the girl, I do not want to buy her drinks, I just want to pick her from a lineup, do her, and then leave) I decided to try the massage parlor scene. These massage parlors were not there six years ago so this was new. Since I speak no Spanish, it is very hard for me to do that. Most of the ads are in Spanish so I do not even know what they say and I can not whatsapp them because I can not say it in Spanish. There are a few ads in English but they are few and far between.

Also, quite frankly, I am concerned about having a "paper trail" on my phone of the transaction. What if customs starts gettng excited and wants to look at my phone and they see the entire conversation and decide they want to charge me with international sex trafficking even though I am not a trafficker. It would be my word against theirs.

Any ad I've ever responded to via WhatsApp I would ask questions in English and they would answer in Spanish and it was never a problem thanks to google translate.

There are a few motels (like Motel Zeus) that will actually provide you with a line up of ladies. Do your research and you'll figure out what works best for you. Good luck amigo!
