The street scene in Mexicali is somewhat dicey. Walkers, often semi-pros looking for milk money, sometimes yield some incredible diamonds in the rough. Lately the policia have been cracking down on these girls, especially during the holidays. Weeknights it's been deserted in the evenings, other than the ever-present trannies. Still, if you look for feminine companionship, you'll find it.

This was in the downtown zona but no more details are provided. Another newspaper La Voz de la Frontera says nothing about health cards. Says they were arrested for street prostitution.

Unless you're one of the few mongers who drive in Mexicali like I do, I wouldn't bother reading this link. The extortion consists of police stopping drivers leaving clubs and threatening to arrest them for drunk driving.

I been going to mescal for many years and rarely post. So I hope this is hopeful. Everyone has their different styles and preferences. So I prefer something you never do and vise versa, I will not comment and I prefer the same. If you have something to add that is helpfull by all means comment.

When I started going to Mescal, I would rent the quickie rooms at hotel posada, novel 28th or the pacific. For me I can't stand the uncleaniness of these rooms and rarely go there. If I have too, I will rent a room at chincesa for 200 MP for 24 hours. There are few girls that I know that I usually get for 2-3 hours for less than 500 MP.

I usuallly go siesta real hotel or motel Virreyes. Motel virreyes is the best bet if it is not on a weekend or holiday. The rate there is 200MP for 24 hours Monday.Thursday. I prefer going to these motels as I can take my time, no rushed sex and it is more relaxing. Siesta real has room service, air conditioned rooms. If you are looking for something short time, this is not the place and you are better off going to motel virreyes or chinesca. Most of the girls I pull from el centro I know but if I find a cutie, I will make my intentions clear. The prices do vary. But the range is from 500 MP. 1500 depending on the girl. But the cute and regular ones will also go for 500 MP for 2- hours and real gf experience.

I have been to san diego, el eatable and gato negra and their is just to much hustle and unecessary activity that never benefits me so I just stay away.

I usually drive in Mexicali so as to avoid the taxi hassle and to have greater mobility, but I have parked at this lot which is only a few blocks from the border.

So nothing to do in Phoenix for the holiday weekend. I decide to drive down to Mexicali to check it out! This is my first time there so learning the ropes so to speak. I have been to Los Algodones a few times, Tijuana once, but never Mexicali. My Spanish is about a 6 on a 1-10 scale so keep that in mind.

I roll in around 3:30pm on Saturday and get a hotel on 9th street close to the boarder, I think the Quality Inn? Nice place, but looks like you can find cheaper and closer places right off 4th street. Air conditioning worked and serves a free breakfast. I get settled in and walk to the boarder. On a side note, I had no idea how to enter so I actually walked through where people drive in. No one stopped me, I am convinced if someone found the right moment you probably could walk back out that way without going through customs.

First thing I do is find a taxi and figure out where to go. We run by el establo but it's closed, so we go to San Diego. Taxi charges me 300 pesos (note to self, remember to ask before getting in these damn taxis!). It's about 5pm I walk inside. 5 or 6 girls, no guys. I say hi to each one and find a new girl working there named Victoria. Nice girl. 18, they say it's her first day working there but who knows. I end up getting two rounds with her and eating some taco dinner in between that they delivered for me. 800 pesos each session. I like San Diego, laid back place and no having to pay extra for the drinks which takes the pressure off. I say the range of girls would be 4-8, with Victoria being an 8. I'm a stick out like a soar thumb gringo but didn't have any problem since I can speak kind-of Spanish. I arrange to meetup with Victoria the next day which we can get to later.

I leave around 8:30 and head over to El Establo. Walk in and only two girls in the place and no guys. I buy each one a drink and me (ouch, over 200 pesos total!). I learned quickly the girls get a cut of the drinks. They tell me the place starts getting packed after 11 or midnight. After the girls finish their drink they want another, I refuse and they quickly become disinterested. I leave for el Gato Negro! I get in and head my way to the bar. Some fatty girl comes up to me and says she has a 16 year old sister she knows if I want to meet her. (I have no intention of doing anything with the girl, but I say yes just for curiosity). She comes over and they want me to buy them both a beer. I end up learning she is really 19. Luckily the waitress asked me to confirm if I wanted to buy a beer for the second girl, which in a moment of clarity I refused. What a racket, I tell this story so no one else falls for her crap either. Anyway, after that I end up talking to some girl who looks half asian. Nice girl, I buy her a few beers then leave because it's late and I have my appointment at 12 tomorrow with Victoria.

On my way out I stop in Pleyboy club. I stay for 15 minutes but don't see anything I like. I did see one girl who looked like a 8 but she was busy as expected. I leave and walk to the boarder and see many street girls working. Some maybe looked decent but I had to get back to the hotel.

Day 2! So I get up and call Victoria at 10:30 as agreed. She answers so we're good to go. I walk down to the boarder and take a taxi to a short time place called "Hotel Virreyes". Ok. As a side note I asked a few cab drivers and people the day before if hotel Virreyes is close to the boarder. They all said yes. I guess I should say,"Is this close to the boarder where gringos enter" because this place is not close! I guess technically everything is close to the boarder in Mexicali. Geez. I meet the girl there and we get in the room. This hotel Virreyes is a nice place! Pay 300 pesos and you can stay 4 hours Friday / Saturday or 24 hours any other day. Clean room, A / C, flat screen, bathroom (with towels) , and room service. Only catch is if you leave you can't come back. Even though I am a Mexicali newbie, highly recommend this place!

So the girl I thought was innocent and nice the day before starts going into business mode. How much you going to pay for how many hours. I swear I was very close to throwing in the towel and just leaving. I finally agree on 1200 pesos for two hours (which includes two rounds). I don't want to hear it from anyone about what I pay, I considered not including this information because I know I'll get heat for it. I am a picky guy and only pay this for GFE experiences. Anyway, about half way through (right when I go to the bathroom) she has an 'emergency' with her mother and has to leave. I ended up paying her 800. Oh yeah, she asked for money upfront which I refused. Sure glad I didn't do that now right? I secretly was happy because they never look as good in the light of day as they did before. I should really know this stuff by now.

So she leaves and I stay and take my time with a shower and they call me a taxi. I get in the taxi and tell him I want to go to the border and maybe find some street girl to eat dinner with (knowing what I know now it sounds kind of stupid). So the taxi driver tells me he knows a nice pretty girl he could introduce me to. I kind of agreed and, I swear, within 5 minutes he drives to some weird place and picks up this 'pretty girl' and what appears to be her mother. This 'pretty girl' turns out to be 40 years old! I am thinking,"I got to get out of this". But I don't do anything. The taxi driver is talking to the girl in spanish about the arrangement and other things (I can only understand about 20%) and after about 15 minutes of driving he ends up going into this neighborhood with old nasty looking houses with dirt roads. I had allready been looking for a time to bail out (this guy never stops for anything). He drops off the grandmother and I jump out with her and throw the taxi driver 200 pesos and say I don't feel safe and I am leaving here. He tries to get me back for 5 seconds then runs off. Now I am stuck in some crummy mexican neighborhood at 3pm in the afternoon. After talking to some locals I found a taxi and got out of there. The name of the place was called "colonial robledo". I later asked a girl how bad it was on a 1-10 scale and she told me 9!

I have the driver drop me off at Gato Negro. A waiter named Hector found me and introduced me to a few girls. Hector seemed like a good guy, I would recommend him to anyone who ends up going there during the day. I found a nice girl named Judith. After a few drinks we went across the street and got a room at hotel Mexico. What a dump, especially for 280 pesos. How can a hotel room have no towels? Is this normal? I guess, maybe, we could of got some downstairs. Anyway, to make a long story short I agreed on enough time for two rounds but magically after one round she has a 'child emergency' and has to leave. To top it off she wants everything we agreed upon! We agreed upon 1000 pesos for a nice, peaceful time with two rounds of fun. After negotiating I ended up giving her 800 pesos. I think she actually understood why I didn't want to give her the full amount and we parted ways on good terms. Oh yeah, she wanted the money upfront too but I didn't do it. I really think I am starting to see a pattern here. Just do one round and be done with it, these girls are unreliable. This was after paying the 150 fee to get them out of El Gato. From what Hector explained to me, you pay 150 to get them out but for as long as you want. Also drinks for girls are 60 pesos, which they get a cut.

So after that I walk around looking for street girls and just to see the sites. It's Sunday and there are maybe a few street girls but that's it. I take a stroll to the 'triangle' and since it's Sunday at 6pm nothing is open and it looks like a ghost town. Also ate some shrimp and cevice that my stomach didn't agree with the next day.

Overall I learned a lot, but if I could do it over again I'd probably just go to Tijuana. I am picky and didn't really find many slim girls that I like. One question: if someone were to just go to Mexicali for the day, where do you recommend to park on the US side?

If I were you, I would postpone my trip to coincide with the annual Fiestas del Sol which this year run from 9/27 to 10/13.

Always heard Mexicali to be one of the safest bordertown in Mexico for mongering. Has current events change the level of corruption in Mexicali? Thinking about going From Aug. 29. Sept 11. Kind of a long stay for a place like this but really want to get to know this place so I can make a group trip with my friends on the weekend. Would like to tell them that it is worth the time & distance. I love screwing around in Mexico. Actually thinking about moving to Mexico for weeks at a time as my business is all on the internet and doing a little better.

I'm 28 from Huntington Beach California & have been to Tijuana at least 100 times already but still can't seem to get enough of it. I love the wild & crazy atmosphere of Tijuana but would really like to change it up with a slower pace with a little more genuine GFE experience. Since I have a lot of time on my hands, would like to go to a place where you can meet a girl that's more down to earth and open to hanging out after work for fun. Not looking to turn any girl into a housewife, but want to find someone who's down to maybe hit up a club or bar for fun.

Correction on the transportation service from Tijuana to Mexicali. It's actually $53 USD dollar but they still quoted it as 50 peso. Misleading website.

I am planning to ride the Harley over to Mexicali this weekend for some fun and frolic. I will be staying at the Hotel CHINESCA. Any and all Wingmen are always invited for a rendezvous in theater. I am expecting a large supply of girls and a shortage of demand. I've had two spinners off the street which had a base line price of $200 pesos to go to the hotel. Of course they do the "up sell" in the room but it is still a value compared to paying $70 pesos for the pony beers in the clubs. My last trip over there I found Hotel 16th of September to have some real nice cuties from Veracruz but I did not partake as they all refused to "cupa" bareback. I also noticed some real nice girls working out of Hotel Pacifico starting at $250 pesos base line price. My local Intel sources warned me that the local zona police are back to being cabrones. I was advised that if you are on the street in the zona and the patrolling police trucks (mostly Dodge Rams) proceed to park where you are standing you best walk into an establishment. That could be an OXXO, a bar, a club or a restaurant. That way you will have local witnesses if the police come in looking for the "mordita" payoff.

This definitely saves a lot of $$ on gas & you can be drunk & not drive.
