I will be in Mexcali on a Tuesday night in a couple of weeks. I usually just hit BSD for some action. Wondered if that is still my best bet or if I should try someplace different. Appreciate any comments.

My recommendations. Hotel Lucerna is great but when you check in tell your wife {MARIA] is coming later. I have been there for years and it is not a problem as long as she is consertavely dressed [likeabanker] not a SW.

That is a high end hotel. For closer to the zone go with Hotel Colonial about $70. You pull up to the room and park just outside the hotel. Noice pool if summer. Good hunting.

Apparently a "massage" parlor known as "Cleopatra's" DOES in fact exist in this town. It is located on Calle Francisco I. Madero between Calle "be" and "see" ("be" and "see" streets) at: 1130. It is not much of a place. I poked my head in to find out about pricing and selection. Price according to the "receptionist" is $40 an hour (or 500 pesos). There was a nice "cadre" of 4-5 girls in a small room immediately off the reception area, that a customer can select from. I was told that "more girls are here after 4:00 pm ". The actual rooms are NOT much geared towards a "massage" experience, but I did not partake, as I had already spent my funds in Mexicali's "zona rojo"! . If anyone has been to this place, I would welcome seeing a more "thorough" review on it. I just went to it to verify its existence.

Went across the street to Fiesta Inn and asked the manager to see one of the rooms. Told him I was trying to decide between them and Real Inn. He shows me 3 rooms. The jr suite, single and double. The suite came with separate living room, microwave and small frig. They were asking $150 per night. The single and double were $100 US. He said these were specials and the I saw the prices posted in the lobby were higher. It was pretty early in the morning when I viewed the rooms. Normal check in is 3 pm But he said if I came back at 10 or 11 he'd let me check in early. Nice guy. He said he's heard better things about their hotel than Real Inn. (not that he's biased any). Lucerna hotel is in the area but even more expensive. Went to the cambio express next to Gato Negro and exchanged money. (13.8 p).

Part of my note taking was to google "northwest border town monger spots". The map there is pretty accurate you just have to know what you're looking for.

Drove around some and found Prestige Spa. Its hard to see from the street but the smart & final next door is a good visible landmark. If you look at the picture I posted, the spa is the yellow building off to the left partially blocked by a tree / Bush. Didn't go in so I can't give a report. In the middle of a roundabout I took a picture of a statue. Its of 3 guys. Do a google map search and street view of "Cinepolis Centenario" and you'll see the statue. Prestige Spa is a couple blocks south.

El Guau Guau. Big 2 story spot that's a couple more blocks south of Prestige Spa. Was closed when I went by.

Trying to find La Cabana and El Stablo and ended up driving right passed both of them. Several times. Finally found both of them 1/2 mile apart and they were both closed. Uugghh! El Stablo has a sign out front saying $220 p. I didn't go in to verify. If you want to stay in this area of town, hotel villa blanca is another option. (can be seen on google maps).

Back to the room to relax some until later in the day.

Hit the zone 3:00 to walk around. Spots were open but didn't see anything I wanted. Leave the area and drive to Mosca. At 4:30 there, Porky's and Kaoz were all closed. 15 minutes later I make it back to Guau Guau and its still closed.

10 pm back to Guau Guau and its finally opened. I see about 6 girls working. There were probably more in the back. Most were young, long hair, tight spinner body. I talk to 19 why / o Layla. 30 p for my coke and 100 p for her beer. She offers 1600 p, then 1400 p and finally 600 p for BJ only Which I agree to. He rambles on, I cut him saying I'll just give this officer $40. He rambles on some more, Okay so $30 will do right? He says yes. I hand the phone back to the officer and and tell him the friend is still on the phone. Officer grins while hearing explanation. I hand the officer $20 US and ask if its okay to drive away.

Make it to La Mosca. Saw 5 girls 15 guys. Saw a sign showing they'd exchange currency for 12.5 p. The girls was pretty nice looking. I drank a coke while checking out the scene. Didn't talk to any of the girls.

Walked next door to Miau Miau. They have a sign saying they'd exchange currency for 13.8 p. 30 p for another coke 100 p for 20 why / o Luna's beer. Outside waiting for a taxi (watched a few go by), there is a Pemex right in front of me. Far side of that is the 7-eleven I mentioned in a previous report. I decide to head there for mints. LEO makes a traffic stop right in front of me. Turns out to be a monger that he separates from his newly acquired SW. Soon as LEO drives away she darts back across to street and crouches down in front of the 24 HR flautas store (google maps). Looks at me and with finger to mouth goes, shhhhh. LOL.

Anyway, I figure now is a good time to head to the room and taxi back for 55 p. I give him 60.

Time to check out the city and see what I can see. A few minutes drive down the road is Plaza La Cachanilla (the mall). I think this is the only mall in the city. I didn't see very many single (or sets of two) girls. Mostly families and couples. International chains include Carl's Jr, Radio Shack, Burger King, Sears, and Subway. All the rest of the stores were local. Large food court with decent options although I didn't try any. I looked around and found a Cambio Express just inside of door #3. You can google a map of the mall and the cambio express (currency exchange) is in Zone Dee at stall 36. The days rate was $13.85 p. Pay parking but works out to be pennies. Bus stop out front if you decide to go that route.

Drive a few more minutes down the road to the main action zone. From the mall, heading towards the border (on highway 5) 7-eleven will be on the right. The zone is across the street on your left. From the border go three streets, 7-eleven will be left Pemex will be on right. Note: google maps has not been updated to show this.

I figured I'd start in the Northeast corner and walk the square (going counter clockwise).

First stop was Hotel Chinesca. Sign out front says 250 p. Asked the clerk if I could see one of the rooms. I have never been to prison but the room she showed me was little more than that. I would not stay here.

Hotel 16 de Septiembre. Dozen or so door girls standing around. Quick glance and maybe 5 were doable (for me). I did not stop to ask for prices. Prepare to be sexually assaulted as you walk by haha. Check your pockets to make sure everything is still there.

Mirage bar / Hotel Paris. This has been reported to be a gay / tranny spot. 7 females standing out front. I purposely crossed the street to the side they were on to walk right past them to verify. I didn't go inside.

I notice police are everywhere. Literally not more than 90 seconds passes before one goes by.

Playboy: peeked my head in but was dead so I didn't stay.

Walked back to my ride drove to Golden China. Avenida Francisco I. Madero and Calle Mexico. Half order each of shrimp fried rice, beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken and a soda came to 142 p. It was really good and in my case it was enough for two people.

Drove the 3 blocks south and at 5 pm Mosca and Miau Miau were still closed.
