This map has Mexicali, Tijuana, Algodones, Nogales and Agua Prieta.

I had not been in this map in a long time. I just went in there and it appears pretty fucked up now. A lot of the points are now in the wrong place. It is funny now because the map actually shows the El Establo bar is in El Centro! (I wish that were true. LOL). I am one of the people that maintain it so I am going to have to go back in there and get it fixed. I think I am going to move it to a different google map site and change the permissions so that no one can change the map because every time I go in there some ******* has went in there and moved all of the places all over the place and I end up having to spend 4 hours fixing it. I will let you know when I get it all transferred to the new site. I can not change the permissions on this one because I am not the original person that made the map, I am only a collaborator. The original person seems to no longer be very active on this board or the map so I can not contact him to change the permissions so that no one can change it but the collaboraters. I will have to make a new map. I will let you know when I have it all copied over and finished.

Who is to blame is irrelevant, but the reality is the economoy is slow and there is less money to [CodeWord140] away in the streets, period. Once the Bush tax cuts expired, I personally saw $160. 00 a month increase in my and my wife's taxes. That's $160. 00 a month I could squirle away and slip to Mexicali or Los Algodones and do my thing that my wife doesn't like to do.

Obama Care it hurting the economy too. The corporation I work for, which has sizeable branches all over the United States, just held branch meetings last week and announced a freeze on hiring, and that non-contract support staff will see their hours cut under 30 a week because Obama care mandates coverage in that plan for anyone over 30. In addition, any corporation with over 50 employees is now bound legally to buy into the program, so we are SEEING small business owners let people go to get under that number. This is in fact bound to hurt the sex trade across the border, and tourism as a whole in Mexico.

Finally, and I state this not as a means of redundancy or to say "look at me" but I married a stripper from Tijuana / Mexicali. I agree with your statement above, the industry is cyclical in nature and the girls work the industry as much as they do the men who seek their services. The girls who know it and work it "migrate" all over Baja California, both the North and the South. They follow the major events in Mexico. That is why girls "disappear" from Tijuana clubs so often. They are on the move looking for the places where men have money they have saved all year to blow. These girls have the game mastered.

I used to travel with my wife when we were still dating, before we married and she left the industry. I'm in a profession that gives me my summers off for two months each year, and significant breaks (education.) We would go to Ensenada for the cruise ship arrivals, and the "Festejemos México", then literally follow the Baja California race all through San Felipe and the peninsula, (we made bank as those guys spend heavy) then we would move back up to Mexicali for their world baseball world series where players from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerta Rico, and basically all latin countries playoff. The clubs would be packed! We hit Cancun in between events and worked the tourist industry, Los Algodones for snow birds, Etc. I met her in Tijuana at "Club Amnesia" on Revolution and 9th. She was in Tijuana because Mexicali and Los Algodones were slow. These girls generally role back along the border during tax time, believe it or not, because they know the "family guys" get our returns in around March / April so usually they see a spike in business. That spike didn't happen this year because we got less taxes back as despite promises to the contrary, taxes did go up on middle class income earners so returns went down. Now; some will argue taxes didn't really go up, but instead Bush's cuts expired. Whatever; it is just semantics. I pay more now than the past 10-years; period. Oh; as a piggy back on the "family guy" pissing teax return away, my wife told me everyone of them bitched about their wive's not giving head or putting out.

This has resulted in two reponses to the lack of clientele; one response is the girls are desperate for money and thus jacked their prices up in an effort to cover the drop in numbers. The other response, and we see this in the street girls, is they lowered and became more negotiable. When I met my wife in 2007 she was demanding $300. 00 (she was a high end escort that worked out of strip clubs) to go to hotel for an hour, and $400-$500. 00 to spend the night and give multiple action. She only got 3-4 clients a month at those prices but made roughly $2000 plus stripper dollars. She was clearing approximately $4000 a month gross. Now, girls are doing the same services at $100 an hour or $250. 00 to sleep over in a room. BUT, Hong Kong club and Tijuana clubs are seeing the floor girls jack up to $100. 00 to make up for lost volumn. By the way; I was in Hong Kong in November on thanksgiving, and there was no shortage of men, but not many were going up stairs. I got a 2-hour session for $60. 00. I went to Los Algodones a couple months ago and got a session for $40. 00 but she was a cock blocker and terrible lay.

I noticed the same situation when I visited Mexicali last month. We are seeing the same problem in Algodones at the Hawaii Club. I would have to say this is in part related to Owebamanomics as so many Americans are either unemployed or under employed which leads to a smaller amount of disposable cash.

A month ago I posted a question asking if anyone has noticed a significant drop off in business at the more popular places such as BSD and El Establo.

As it happens I had to make a quick over night trip to Mexicali for business and hooked up with one of my girlfriends from El Establo for some tacos at a local asadero restaurant. One of the most interesting things she mentioned without me bringing up the subject was that business has been in the toilet for the last couple of months. Without her realizing it she was giving me an Economics 101 lesson on supply and demand. Basically what she said was that many local girls and imports from Sonora, Sinaloa, Mazatlan have arrived and are looking for work at all of the Table Dance clubs and bars like El Establo and BSD. She said that the customers are half of what they were in Dec, Jan.

Just thought I would post this as my recent trips to seemed to have reflected a significant reduction in business at the bars.

Becuuse of my qucik turn around on this trip I did not have time to monger, perhaps in a couple of weeks I will have a better report.

Just an observation, I haven't seen any reviews or experiences from El Establo posted lately. During my last visit to Mexicali I arrived at El Establo around 11:45 PM and noticing there was only around ten girls there many of which I had seen before and had no interest in. I decided to leave after about an hour. I headed down the street to La Cabana. I was told by the chicas at La Cabana that El Establo is struggling to keep new girls and for that reason many customers now go to other places. In my opinion it may also have some thing to do with their prices. I have commented in the past that the rooms for 50 minutes was $1070 Pesos MXN for a chica that is not attractive or a retread, not to mention before you get to the point of getting a room you likely will have purchased a few beers for the lady at $100 Pesos MXN, which the chica gets a cut of that. Also I don't think you truly get the full 50 Minutes, at least I didn't think so that last time I was in one of the El Establo rooms.

At Bar San Diego there is no ficha for the girl so she doesn't care how many beers you buy, her goal is to get you to a room and at BSD there always is new selections to choose from. Its also nice that at BSD the chicas don't come and bug you about buying them a drink especially when U-turn them down they want a detailed reason why not. Ugggg, hate that.

Just wanted to update you all on my recent experience there in medical. It has been at least two years since I was down there. First off I am not a bar type guy. My experience with the bars is

That the girl rush and the experience is always impersonal.

I had a few days to kill so my first night there, I took a few laps met a few ladies and just cruised around until I found someone I was interested. I met marissa outside of pacific. We agreed on 900 pesos for 3 hours. Went to the hotel did the deed x3. We ate, showered, relaxed and the experience was perfecto. There was this one girl by the name rebecca from veracruz that hangs out at pacific- 24 year old gorgeous lady. More on her later.

The next night I met this girl named Yessina. I had seen her throat the day just crusiing around. Very thin lady with 3 kids. Awesome experience. 500 pesos for two hours. She's a three holer.

The next day hooked up with Rebecca from pacific hotel. She wanted to charge 1000 pesos for an hour. We agreed on 1000 pesos for 90 minutes. Turns out she was two months pregnant but sex was awesome, very girlfriend experience. We talked, I had two leeches and that was it.

The last lady I had seen was salima met her 17th of September hotel. 460 pesos per 1 hour. Very tight lady and gf experience. Some of you may say why I pay so much. This is cheapest place I know on earth to get a quick lay in and out with good service, friendly chicas and safe environment. I just hate haggling girls down just so I can save a few dollars.

I stayed at chinesca hotel. Price was 250 pesos for 24 hours even though I just used for about 12 hours. This is convenient. Normally I stay at siesta real (less than 10 minute taxi from el centro.

I prefer this hotel because it is quiet, they serve excellent breakfast and the rooms are roomy and comfortable.
