I've been an avid reader of the ISG forum for a long time, particularly the Mexicali site. About three weeks ago while partying with a a buddy at the "Stablo", I saw gentleman with three chicas having a hell a time together. I struck a conversation with him, and lo and behold, it was the infamous Joe Arturo of the Mexicali forum, one of the frequent poster of the site.

Joe spends half his time living in Mexicali and the other half in the Los Angeles area. Alternating every week. He has been going to Mexicali for over seven years and is very savvy with the mongering scene. If you're a newbie in Mexicali, I would highly recommend to ask him for advise or perhaps hook up with him. He's a nice, honest man, and he will steer you in the right direction.

Joe introduced me with one of his party buddy, "Kenya", a 23 year with a nice rack. He and Kenya are very close and have build a strong friendship. Kenya protects Joe from unscrupulous chicas, while Joe seem to be a semi father-figure to her. In any case, the relationship is mutually beneficial.

With the help of Joe, I hooked up with Kenya on Friday. We ended up in Samil for a two hour session. Room is $290 pesos and $80 dollars for her. Sounds like another hot night in Mexicali. I tend to spend some regular time in Mexicali and am usually over at Muai Muai each week. So I do want to mention that there is a vast number of girls that work there with varying schedules. So a different day or night may have a whole new range of opportunities. Watching the shift change from day to night girls (around 8:30 - 9:30) is a great way to fine tune your evening plans. "Copa damas" are $8 at Muai Muai, but if she orders a double, it's $16 each.

Possibly by Kabozza you mean Kaos, which is across the street from Maui Maui's? Anyway, it's the same owner and the same prices. If you got 3 table dances for $20 that would be an amazing deal. I know the private dances are $20 each, and I think the table dances are about the same. But I've avoided table dances in favor of privado's in the back. Some of the girls will take care of plenty of warm up (as if Mexicali needs to be any warmer) in exchange for the fichas before hitting the back room.

Fryer Go straight on Madero from the Centro point of entry heading east. Go approx 4 miles and then turn right onto Justo Sierra. Keep going south and you will see a statue of Benito Juarez. Stay in the left lane and veer to the left. You will then be on Benito Juarez. Stay on Benito Juarez and you will see another statue. Go past the statue and keep going straight on Benito Juarez. Do not veer left as this will take you onto Lazero Cardenas. About 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile you will see a Home Depot on the right and about a block farther is Giau Giau. Less than a block further on the left is Excalibur. Right next door to it is a small bakery. Excalibur is right before the intersection of Benito Juarez and Lopez Mateos. The best time to go to Excalibur is after 8 PM and they stay open till about 5 in the morning.

Went Tuesday and started at Centro. Started at 3 ASES and had a couple of Tecate's and a tequilla. Walked around some and alot of chicas wandering the streets. Hot as hell but God I love Mexicali. Had a few Tacos then headed to El Establo. The pickings were slim as only 4 chicas were there at 10:00. I think it is due to the hot weather and alot of the pros head to cooler cities.

Then I headed to Bar San Diego. About 9 chicas were there. I had never seen so many gordas there before. Once again I think it is the weather and alot of the girls head to cooler cities to work. Sounds like the cabbie took you to the high end titty bars. As Joe stated ask a cabbie to go to Bar San Diego. It should cost no more than $5 dollars to go there. Also another good bar is El Estasblo. I was there last night. Things are slow in the summer as it is hot and most of the better chicas go to cooler cities. The girls in El Establo will sit alone also and you pretty much have to call them over to chat and buy them a drink. There is a small dance floor and they love to dance also. There is also a small hotel with rooms behind the bar much like BSD but the rooms are much cleaner. The cost is $70 for room and chica.

Another good bar is Excalibur which you can take the chicas out. The owner is an American and he is there sometimes. This bar is not in El Centro area. Also the bar across from Excalibur which was called Harras was shutdown. I liked that bar also. Too bad

Another good bar is "Gato Negro" in El Centro which I scored in last night with a nice slender 30 year old. The only thing to be careful of is when buying the girls drinks it can add up fast. The music is very loud in Gato Negro also. In the Centro there are other bars only 1 to 2 blocks from Gato Negro which Jack talks about.

Please read the forum and especially the reports of Joe and Jack as they are very accurate and no BS.

PS Also eat at a Chinese restaurant as they are the best outside of San Francisco I have eaten at. The reason there are so many Chinese in Mexicali is that they were used as labor to build the canals in the Imperial valley in the Early 1900's and they settled in Mexicali. Go to Bar San Diego and ask Castillo the waiter to help you. He speaks perfect English. You will not be disappointed! Be sure to give Castillo a good tip.

Don't be surprised if the girls in Bar San Diego ignore you. They don't make a commission (ficha) on drinks. Sit in a booth and look around. When you see one that you want, tell Castillo. Or ask Castillo who he reccomends. She will come to your table and chit chat with you in limited English.

The standard fare is 200 pesos for the room paid to the bar and 500 pesos for the muchacha paid to the muchacha for one-half hour. The one-half hour is enforced by the muchacha. I have never received a knock on the door at Bar San Diego and sometimes I have been in the room for more than an hour.

I had a great first time in Mexicali. I decided to walk across and do the cab thing. It worked great. I crossed at Calexico POE, grabbed a cab and said La Zona. I don't speak spanish, but no problem. I was taken to the strip club area. I visited three of them: Maui Maui, El Cienga and Kabooza, (please excuse the spelling, I'm probably brutally misspelling).

Nothing going on at El Cienga. But the agenda was the same at both Maui Maui and Kabooza. Went in for no fee. The Sol was 3 dollars (US). The dancers were 6-8 on a scale of 10. Here's my question, what's a good next night? I saw hotels near the strip bars but did not know if it was safe or useful to walk past those hotels. I've read about BSD, and I might try it. But I'm wondering if someone can give me a couple of suggestions. I'm going to cab it again. It was easy.

This is just a suggestion as everything involves money in one way or another. Either get a SENTRI pass or a motorcycle. With the pass the wait is minutes, yes minutes and the cost is only $128 for 5 f@#$%^& years! The time you save is invaluable. The worse time to return is in the a.m. around 7 to 8 when everyone either goes to work or dropping the kids off the a U.S. school (we taxpayers getting screwed again). I had to wait in the SENTRI lane for 12 minutes around 7:30 pm the other day (everyone coming home), what a bummer. The regular line was likely an hour.

With a motorcycle use the SENTRI lane and turn between the cement slabs or go to the head of the line. Again, it takes minutes on a moto but it can get hot late afternoon.

On Monday 7/2 I crosdsed twice- first time was about 2:30 PM at the East POE. From the time we got in line to thru the booth was about 15 minutes. Later that evening I got to the Calexico (West) POEaround 7:15 and had a 30 minute wait. As always YMMV.

If you understand Spanish, from Mexicali dial 700-7000 (this is a Mexican number) and it gives you the wait time at both border crossings. This is updated every 15 minutes. Also on Cablemas, the local cable tv provider which many hotels have, channel 97 has a live camera at the Calexico (Old Border Crossing) where you can see how long the line of cars is.

As has been said by others, the crossing time depends on the day and the hour. And a lot of times is totally unpredictable.

Early in the morning on week days the wait is fairly long due to the Mexicans going to work in the USA. Also, mornings on weekends the wait time is fairly long due to Mexicans going to Calexico to shop. Mid day or really late at night are usually the best times.

Depends Bait & Switch. If you get to the "new" POE before 10 PM, they generally "rush" everyone thru, so they can close the entry at 10PM.

If you miss the 10PM, you can expect at least an 1 hour plus in time at the Calexico POE. Also depends on the day of the week as well. The weekends are the worst, unless its at 3 or 4 in the morning. Have driven thru real fast at 6 AM @ Calexico POE.

It's about timing, I'm sad to say.

Spent late Monday afternoon at BSD after some business in Mexicali. Temp outside was 120 but the A/C was cranking and the beer was cold.

Only 3 chicas on duty at 3:30 PM including Paloma the bartender. Paloma is about 30 and says she has a 9-year old son. She's about 5'5 130# natural 36c'sand has Black hair just below the shoulders. It depends on the day and time. Usually Fridays and Saturdays going out by car are long. I would say 1 1/2 hours max. Going by foot to get out is not as long. Maybe 30 minutes to get out max. Late at night or early mornings are shorter. Now that summer is here its not as long either. I usually drive from Mexicali to Algodones to leave and the wait is maybe 20 minutes.
