Once you cross CLX POE proceed straight or slightly to the left. Follow the AEROPUERTO sign. From the POE turn RIGHT after 3.6 miles on RIO CULICAN then go .4 miles, BSD is on the left.

Another way. Proceed from the POE and at JUSTO SIERRA (2 MILES from POE) turn right and then left at the 2 PEMEX stations. Proceed about 1.5/1.6 miles to TACOS TONAS (stop sign) and turn right on Rio Culican. BSD 100 yards on left.

I have been reading through the past reports and want to thank Jack and Joe. Much appreciated. Just a couple questions: How far is BSD from the La Zona area...or is BSD located in the La Zona? I think as a first-timer I might try a few dances in the hotels to get going, then go off to BSD. Any help would be much appreciated.

Well I have been working hard and decided I needed a break. So I went to Mexicali for 1 day. Arrived around 8:00 PM and it was still hot as hell. Decided to stay at the new section of hotel Villa Blanca (I think that is the name) which is only 300 yards from El Establo. I recommend this hotel as its less than a year old and the AC is new and they let you set it where you want. Nice and cool and I needed it as it was hot as hell in Mexicali. Also it is chica friendly very clean and only $49.

Settled in and went to centro. Gallo Giro and 3 ASES were full but mostly gordas. Went to the bar next to 3 ASES and as I sat down a young gorda sat down and wanted drinks. Wrong thing to do to me, especially if you are gorda. Pissed me off so I went to bar Goto Negro. Entered and sat at bar and started shooting breeze with a chica from Guadalajara. She was 24 and a 6 on looks but very pleasant and preety smile Chatted for awhile and bought her 3 drinks but decided she was not what I was looking for. I think she would have gone with me but never really asked.

Went to El Establo and had 4 to 5 cervezas. Only 5 girls working. All in the 4 to 7 range. I decided to take the one who was a solid 6.

Good report. Regarding TJ, until last year, I was a long time visitor of TJ. TJ has changed and I did not feel safe at night there anymore. On my last trip, at gun point, I was told to take everything out of my pockets by the FED cops one night in a bar in La Zona in TJ. The FED cops were having a raid looking for drugs in all the clubs. Even the girls were searched. There was about 100 cops in several large army trucks. Also, the rough guys there, in my opinion, look for tourist that travel along (which is me). I had a few minor problems with them. I decided that no pussy in the world is worth all this trouble or harm. I am glad I decided not to go any longer. Several weeks after my last trip, there was shooting in the La Zona in the area I would hang out at.

I've been wanting to check out mexicali for some time and I think I will finally get a chance. I luv latin women and I've been to Panama and Costa Rica and had the time of my life down there. Yap, the heat is unreal--it was 114 the last time I was there a few weeks ago. I assume, because of the heat, it is slow for the girls? Which bars do you like to go to and sit and watch what stops by? The last time I was there, I went to the Playboy club, the music was loud and I felt out of place. Sorry to hear that your Mexicali experience wasn't so good. I want to tell you that MEXICALI IS NOT LIKE TJ! Daytime action is very sparce in Mexicali. The girls don't want to hang out in 100 plus degree weather. If you want a lot of action during the day, TJ is the place, although I don't go to TJ as it is also the most dangerous city in all of Mexico.

For daytime action in Mexicali, you need to go to the higher end strip clubs, which of course cost more money. Most of them open at 2 PM and some open around noon.

I can't tell you much about what went on with the girls at 16 de Septiembre, as I never have been one to go with a SG. I do know that if police are around that they act a lot less friendly than normal.

I can however tell you what happened at BSD. It has been my experience that at BSD if a girl approaches you for business that 9 times out of 10 she is not all that good in the bedroom. At BSD, the girls don't make commissions on drinks that you buy them. It is the only place that I know of in Mexicali (or TJ for that matter) that the girls don't hound you to buy them drinks. That is why I like BSD so much.

At BSD, the girls are there for only one reason. They are indeed friendly, but want the customer to choose them. If you don't speak Spanish, Castillo, the waiter, is there to help. You pick one out and tell Castillo that you want her to come to your table and she will come to your table and be friendly. Or you ask Castillo which one speaks better English and he will tell you. Even for those of us that speak Spanish, Castillo is the MAN. On Castillo's night off the other waiter (Mike) is also very helpful, but I have never spoken English with him so don't know how well he speaks English.

Once again, Mexicali is not TJ and hopefully it never will be.

Thanks for your comments and insight, this really helps me a lot. I will go back to Mexicali after my trip to HK and China. Your comments about BSD helps me to better understand the standard operating procedures there. I will use the help of Castillo and give him a tip. Come to think of it, when I was there, I say a Latin guy ask Castillo to bring a girl over the the guys table.

Your comments about the 100 plus heat (110 when I was there) is logical. I will take that into consideration next time. I agree with your comments that Mexicali, we hope, should never become TJ. I have Mexicali high grades for safety. Thanks again.

Just back from Mexicali this past weekend and I had mixed results. For example, at 16 de Septiembre hotel, there were at least 7 girls in hallway. I said “hello, how are you doing” in Spanish and they did not respond. They would not even look at me, they pretended as if I was not standing there. I was surprised since so many guys on this post stated girls in Mexicali were friendly. This has never happen to me in Southeast Asia or TJ. Anyone care to tell me why this happened? I am not Brad Pitt but I am not an ugly guy. I was nicely dressed and groomed.

Also, in the La Zona area around 1:30 pm this past weekend, there were only 2 ugly girls walking around. Wow, where are the girls? In TJ by the same time, lots of girls in La Zona. I also went to BSD, gee, the girls just sit around and will not approach you. In the places I have been for the past 11 years (Asia, TJ), I would say that the girls in Mexicali are lazy and not friendly. In Thailand-Pattaya, for example, girls will make an effort to smile and be friendly and approach the customer, same for TJ, HK, PI, etc. I also went to El Establo around 3:30 pm, gee I was told they open at 7:00 pm. Does anyone know what time Excalibur open and if it is a good club. Maybe, in the future, I will give Mexicali one more try.
